We had such a lovely stay. The house is beautiful - well cared for and wonderfully designed - and the panoramic view of the archipelago is amazing. We spent a few days just swimming from the private jetty and enjoying the view but the location is also a short drive to Nacka Strand, so we took the commuter ferry to visit Stockholm too. Chicki also particularly recommended the Artipelag gallery near Gustavsberg, so we had a lovely day there too, enjoying their sculpture trail through the forest by the sea. I would very much recommend this lovely Airbnb, its location and the helpful hosts.

Beautiful studio near the city in quiet surroundings. Easily accessible by public transport. You feel very comfortable from the beginning. Thanks Sofia for a great stay.

The three of us stayed with Maria and Kristofer for 7 days. The apartment is bright and chic with some retro charm, which is very stylishly furnished. We immediately felt comfortable, as the rooms invite you to relax and are very spacious. All beds were extremely comfortable, everything was spotless and the kitchen is large enough for 2 cooks ;) with good equipment. The electronic lock worked perfectly - like all electrical appliances. We won't soon forget cooking in the evening by a crackling fireplace. Thank you for all your efforts, Maria and Kristofer!! Our family was very happy to be your guest, we enjoyed every conversation and I especially thank you for your great support in getting an important medication on Sunday!! We couldn't have done this without you. We are happy to test the Swedish summer with you… Thank you so much for your excellent hospitality!

We are thrilled to have found this gem for our winter getaway with friends in Vaxholm! The location is perfect—conveniently close to the bus, ferry, and with its own parking space, yet wonderfully peaceful. The house exceeded our expectations with its spaciousness and charm. It had plenty of room for everyone and came fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. It truly felt like a home with a soul, making our stay special. Mary-Rose, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive, answering all our questions promptly and ensuring we felt well-prepared for our stay. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient retreat in Vaxholm!

Very good holiday time and so relax

We had a lovely two week stay at Johan’s charming house. We loved waking up to the views of the lake and trees, and starting our days with the most beautiful walks around the lake. It is a wonderful place to retreat, peaceful and surrounded by nature, but only a 25 minute drive to Stockholm. Johan was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Great house in a nice, quiet location! The house was very clean, and it was easy to communicate with Alex and Emma. We enjoyed evening swims at the nearby dock. We also enjoyed swimming and kayaking at Solviksbadet a few tram stops away. We greatly appreciated that Alex and Emma had removed some of their stuff, so there were plenty of drawers and closet space available. Thank you for being such terrific hosts!

Fabulous house, beautifully restored and decorated. Great location by the water to watch the boats go by and for a morning swim :) Very well equipped kitchen. Börje is a great host, greeted us at check-in and took time to explain everything. Always quick to respond to messages.
