This place is beautiful! The view of the ruins and mountains from the living room and rooftop terrace were unforgettable. Last year when we were visiting the ruins we fantasized about staying in this house. We had a little trouble finding the place as we arrived late after flight delays. The hosts were responsive at 11.30 pm and came to help us. They went above and beyond! I slept in the king bed and it was very comfortable. The kitchen had the necessities to make meals. We didn't want to leave. It was so relaxing and there are many interesting things to do and see in the area.

What a nice cottage in the fields of agave! Emmy was very nice to give us a private meet and greet and even private tasting tour a day before planned. The tour about mezcal is also nice run by her husband. Overall really nice experience. Matatlan by itself it’s quite a remote village but there are more bigger towns around.
