Had a wonderful 2 nights stay at Bumblebee cottage. The cottage is exactly as the photographs. The location was perfect for us. Very peaceful and a good distance off the main road (which is what we wanted) but within easy distance to Harrogate in a taxi (£20 for 4 of us). I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone wanting to have the best of both worlds, peace and tranquillity and a bustling town for shopping, eating and drinking. Our host Mollie was very good, she messaged me before with all the details we needed to park our cars and find the entry key.

Great place. Well equipped, cosy and in a great location. As described and John, our host was extremely helpful and accommodating. John even built and provided a brochure of things to do and local spots to visit. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Jackie's lovely house in the centre of Harrogate. The house was perfect for a group of 5 adults exploring the town. Jackie made our vosit extremely comfortable with plenty of room and lovely welcoming touches. The Christmas decorations made our visit feel like the start of the festive season. I would definitely recommend a stay.

Absolutely brilliant find! Cosy yet spacious cottage with everything you need. There’s even a pub next door, but the walls are super thick so you can’t hear anything. Such a peaceful place, only a short drive away from Harrogate, Knarsborough, Pateley Bridge and Fountain’s Abbey. Brilliant host. 10/10.

Nice and cosy flat with everything we needed in a great area with the ease of walking to the shops. We would definitely recommend and would love to go back to Harrogate.

Wonderfully close to the main road easy to get to the centre to look around and a great place if you’re looking to go to the Conference Centre or the theatre. Great flat with everything and more anyone would need. The only downside was the lounge furniture. It was very low and very hard, which can be difficult to stand up from and is problematic for people who have disabilities, joint issues or back problems.

We had a lovely weekend stay in November. Location is great right next to the river, some very steep hills to negotiate to get into town (we were expecting this). Clive was on holiday and the house sitters did a great job of welcoming us. Everything was sparkling clean and the apartment was fitted out really well. We would love to stay in the warmer weather to take advantage of the outside sitting area overlooking the river. There was some noise from the house above, it didn’t really bother us and wasn’t a problem. Looking forward to returning for another weekend break soon.
