It was perfect for a long weekend. Close enough to town to grab groceries or a meal but you truly felt in the middle of nowhere. The property is amazing and you could not leave for days and be content. Bruce and Mary Jane were really responsive hosts and we had a lovely time! We had an electric car and there’s charging at the grocery store and a few other locations in town.

Words cannot describe how special this place is. We were lucky enough to stay for almost a month, and the house and beach just kept on giving. The space has an incredible view out to the Salish sea, and we watched a parade of herons, bald eagles, and numerous other seabirds from the front deck. The house is equipped with everything you need and more, full of whimsy and fun art supplies, games, the best blankets and comforters ever, and two cozy fireplaces. The photos do not do the house justice; it's huge and modern, open plan, but with lots of private sitting spaces. Dawn and Zach are the kindest, most wonderful hosts. There's a reason the Sunset house has hundreds of rave reviews. If you have a chance to book it, don't hesitate.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, private vacation home with beach access. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of accessories, utensils, spices, etc. Plenty of puzzles and games if the weather is bad or you just want a quiet night by the fire. The lot is expansive. Parking is plentiful. Just a really nice, relaxing location all around. Close to the ferry terminal and maybe a 10-12 minute drive into town for shops, restaurants and amenities. There is a small market down by the marina for basic needs that would definitely be walkable on a nice day. 10/10 experience.

Crystal’s beach house was fabulous. The location right on the ocean delivered amazing views and the sound of waves. The property is modern and very tastefully decorated offering everything you could imagine for comfort and convenience. The map of the waterways and islands was so helpful. I would highly recommend this property to those looking for an oceanfront get away where you feel fine just staying in or venturing out to explore the area. We loved our stay!
