Vacation rentals in East Melbourne

Enjoyed our stay at Vincent's Airbnb. Location is fabulous - close to Skybus trams and trains, Coles and restaurants. Was the perfect place to stay for 4 nights while attending the tennis. Will be definitely rebooking for another time in Melbourne. Thank you very much Vincent.

Very well-appointed, spacious, comfortable apartment suitable for couple (2-3 adults) or family. As only 1 bathroom, some may find this an issue with more occupants. Neighbours are friendly, many having pets so travelling with ours put us at ease. Suitable if travelling with a small dog and you would need to take it off the property for ablutions; also it's two story. Beautiful location within easy walking to good restaurants (many pet-friendly (outdoor)), parks, bay-beach (dog friendly). Similarly easy to travel by car as well as tram connections. No issues with unrestricted on-street parking - this was November; Grand Prix season (March) could be any issue. A very pleasant stay with a home-away-from-home feel.

Thanks to Julienne, my family has just made a wonderful summer holiday. The property was just as described in the listing, with clean and well-maintained spaces in the bedroom, living room, and kitchen. The best part was the direct access to the beach. It was so convenient to head out for a swim and then come straight back to the property. The neighborhood was quiet, which made it easy for us to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time. The welcome hamper pack was also a nice touch, and our kids really enjoyed it. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay by the beach.

From start to finish Claire has been an amazing host. Claire’s home was well equipped with everything we needed, and she took extra care to make sure we had everything for our young child. Claire provided beach equipment which was a really lovely touch. Perfect location right by the tram, beach and restaurants. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting St Kilda. Claire kindly let me know I had left a coat, her attentiveness has been amazing.

Absolutely brilliant location for transport, shopping, food, architecture, pubs and coffee. Fantastic part of Melbourne for walking (maybe not in heels though :) Helen is a really friendly, easy and helpful host to communicate with. The loft is charming, comfy and private. Big thanks Helen.

We love this place for the stay of our extended family. It’s spacious especially the living and dining for six of us. The place is full of usual home alike amenities which are very useful for our stay of eight nights. Location is the most important for us. It’s 3 mins walk to 109 tram, 5 mins car ride to south Melbourne market , 10 mins drive to st kilda beach and walk around the corner to Bay St where you can find everything from Coles, bank, bakeries to good dining options, that family members can always do something individually. Downside of convenience location is loud noise from occasional crazy motorbikes at night. Overall, it’s a very good stay for us! Thanks host !

We loved the apartment once we got in. We were cleared for early check in, but once we arrived , there was no access for 2 hours Also the combination inside the mailbox was difficult to operate for both checkin and check out . Other than that , we loved the apartment for location , comfort and access to beach , transportation and restaurants.

Alix and Taj’s place was perfect for our family trip. Close to places of interest and stocked with basics. Very clear instructions and communication. Would stay again.
