Loft vacation rentals in East Java

What an absolute gem! The photos don't do this place justice. Alexis was a haven of calm and quiet after the heat and noise of the day. How lovely it was to lounge around listening to the sounds of the rainforest, or floating in the pool at sunset with the bats flying overhead and the last of the days birds singing all around. The space is wonderfully outfitted with anything you could need, including a hand written welcome note, filtered icy cold water, robes, and towels for the pool. Self-check in was a breeze, even with our nighttime arrival, and the AC in the bedroom offered arctic temps. Communication with the host was easy, prompt, and always helpful, and the neighborhood offered days of wandering and exploration. We now have aspirations of coming back with friends and spending many days enjoying this serene corner of Ubud.

The loft was quite nice and convenient to many food places. The hosts are very nice and responsive solved any problems immediately.

Our stay at this villa was amazing! The attention to detail was exceptional – from lemongrass spray to keep mosquitoes at bay, to Baygon for other insects. We appreciated the first aid kit, water dispenser, laundry basket, and separate changing room for luggage. The pool was always pristine. Nova, the caretaker, made our stay memorable with his warm hospitality. He greeted us with drinks and snacks, explaining everything about the house. He was always available to assist with anything, from scooter rentals to finding a surfing instructor. After a day of exploring, we looked forward to returning to the villa, which felt like home. It was the perfect place to recharge. The location was fantastic, with plenty of cafes nearby, close to Canggu, and a laundromat and mart just outside. A huge thank you to Mr. G and Nova for making our stay so wonderful! We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

The place is exactly as described. It’s located in a quiet spot in the Sanur area, making it perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful and private getaway. However, if you want to be in the “Sanur city center,” you might want to stay a bit further north. The closest beach, Melasti Beach, offers a beautiful sunset but unfortunately has a garbage smell so we couldn’t stay long there. The room is spacious enough for a couple, with a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy bathroom. The Netflix access was a nice touch. However, there are a couple of notes: 1. Seating for Work: The seating arrangement (a sofa and a minibar) is not ideal for working from home. Even though the Wi-Fi is fast and the AC works great, the seating setup wasn’t comfortable (they needed to change the minibar chair). 2. Motorbike Rental: The motorbike rental service wasn’t great. It was overpriced and average in quality; renting elsewhere is recommended. Overall, a decent stay with room for small improvement

I had a great time staying at the Canggu Beach Inn. The location was within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Leni was super helpful and even arranged my laundry to be sent out for cleaning (highly recommend). The air con in the unit worked great as well and I definitely would recommend staying somewhere such as this location that has air con. When I wanted to venture to meet up with friends, I just hopped on a grab bike and had no trouble with being picked up. I feel like I got a great deal for the price and location, I wish I could have stayed longer. If you see an opening, don’t hesitate to book!

The location is great, villa is lovely, my only one negative comment is since its so close to all the beach clubs like Atlas and Fins you can hear a little the music late night so if you are sensitive to noise bring ear plugs :)

We stayed for 4,5 weeks at Margit’s guesthouse and had a wonderful time. The house is even nicer than the pictures suggest. We have a 3 year old toddler and a 10 month old baby who is crawling and exploring, so for us the safety for our children was important. We were grateful for the babygate that Margit had installed especially for us. We found the house to be very comfortable and clean; It has everything that we needed. You can open everything up and let the breeze go through the house, or keep everything closed and stay in the airco to cool down. The garden is beautiful with an amazing pool. The WiFi connection is good and fast in case you need to work from home. Dapur Deli in the beginning of the alley has good western food. And if you’re traveling with children we can also recommend de Kidz Café down the street. The household staff are lovely and were very sweet with our children. The communication with Margit was very good, she responds very quickly.

I had a wonderful stay. The location was peaceful and perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of busier areas like Canggu. The surroundings were serene, providing a great retreat for relaxation. The host was very responsive and made sure all my needs were met promptly, which added to the overall ease of my stay. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with excellent service, this place is a great choice.
