We hadn't been to back since 2022 and LOVED being back. Everything was perfect! We enjoy all seasons on the North Shore and Croftville is the perfect location to hear and watch the waves. We also appreciated the quiet setting and quick access to hiking and ski trails. The decor and the sustainable usage of materials that went into creating this space is greatly appreciated! This is just what we needed for a “home-base” while we went fishing up and down the North Shore rivers. Super convenient location in Two Harbors that’s close to everything in town. Amanda was very responsive if we ever had a question. Recommend.

Wow! This home is beautiful. The large windows brilliantly showcase the unique beach scape while being directly on Lake Superior but the private beach access is the cherry on top. The home (and property) was larger than we expected and was cozy from top to bottom. We were so happy to bring our kids and dog, and both had the best time exploring. The sunsets and sunrises are unforgettable at this home. We had a couple clear nights and the stars were shining so bright. One in a million type of views/experience. Location was great, as we skied Lutsen Mountains with a 10 minute drive, a State park hike close by, and went to Grand Marais easily. We’d love to return soon and extend our stay next time!

Place was fantastic. We stayed 3 nights (March, 2025) with four young kids, two adults. Everything is very well communicated/clear (access, entry, garage, rules, etc) everything is known up front (kitchen items, fireplace, etc) Place is big and quiet too. Very clean, updated, cozy, and well lit (also with blackout curtains in all bedrooms) Kitchen is nice with everything you need to cook, including a grill (already had tea, keurig coffee and cups, oil, seasonings, including paper towels, zip locks, detergent, soap, etc) There is everything you need for the beach (chairs, toys, towels). Tons of games, puzzles, and books. But the best of all..... private beach, sauna, tons of firewood, garage, AND a washer/dryer. Fantastic North Shore Location (near Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, Two Harbors, Tettegouche, etc). It's quiet, it's big, it's got everything you need, it's a great set up and we would proudly recommend this place to any of our family and friends!

A Perfect Getaway on the Shores of Lake Superior!  We had an absolutely incredible stay at this Airbnb! The location is unbeatable—right on the shore of Lake Superior with stunning, panoramic views of the water that made every morning feel magical. The home itself is beautifully decorated with a warm, inviting feel and had every amenity we could ask for. The game room, pool, and hot tub were great additions that really elevated the experience. Everything we needed was conveniently close by—great restaurants, hiking trails, and local attractions. Whether you're looking for adventure or just a peaceful place to unwind, this place offers the best of both worlds. Highly recommend!

Patty and Dale's place was perfect for our weekend getaway! The apartment was clean, simple, cute, and had everything we needed. Quiet, comfortable and a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. It’s off the main Hwy. but still in the heart of the action and walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and the local brewery. Do North was our favorite for pizza, and Vanilla Bean has fantastic coffee and breakfast. The architectural antique store had some unique finds too. Agate Bay Beach and the Two Harbors Lighthouse were just minutes away, which made it super convenient to explore the area. Patty and Dale were wonderful hosts. Communication was clear and timely, and Patty checked in a couple of times during our stay. She was quick to answer questions and made sure we had what we needed. The apartment was a perfect landing spot between our weekend adventures, and the price was spot on. We’d definitely stay here again!

Absolutely gorgeous area! Place was well stocked for blankets, pillows and beds to sleep in as well as dishes and the basics!! Tons of space for the kids and adults to spend time together. The hot tub and sauna were a lovely bonus. All around an amazing place for our family to relax and unwind after the hospital!!

That was my first cabin experience and I want to keep going there. I don´t think I can find any other host who will be better that Alex. He treats you well and is always available with answers. I totally recommend staying on this cabin, its totally worth what you paid for it. I will definetly go back again soon. I stayed here March 2025 hoping to see the Northern Lights since this year will be a very good year to see them. Unfortunately, the forecast changed but we are gonna definitely try here again next time at Andrews Airbnb! it was so lovely and they were so helpful and responsive. Like another review, one of our friends who was staying with us also said there was dog hair/some animal on the bedsheets, but we only stayed one night so it wasn't a problem for us. And Andrew and Summer would have fixed it for us if we insisted!! See you next time!

We had a fantastic time staying at Kris’s property. From arrival, we had easy entry, plenty of parking and wooden walkways helped with transporting supplies into the beautiful home. Everything was as described in the description and I want to point out the views are amazing on both the main floor and second floor. We had a great time visiting and hope to make a return trip.

We used the space primarily as for sleeping and place to get cleaned up after/before each day. We have family in town without room to house everyone. So our needs may not be the same thing others are seeking. The kitchen itself is adequate and the large fridge freezer would meet most families needs for storage. There was a lower level window AC that cooled that level nicely. The upstairs was a little more stuffy, but with windows open and a box fan running, it cooled down nicely for sleeping. The bedrooms were good sized and having 2 bathrooms with a tub/shower and a shower met our needs for a place to sleep, clean up. The location just a block off the main road provides easy walking access to shops and restaurants. That would be very attractive to many people. For people wanting the full stay experience with meals and leisure time the place would meet their needs. Would definitely recommend this place for the location and pricing. Suzanne was a good and gracious host!

This review is for Nathan personally. Due to a double booking experience between VRBO and Airbnb, I did not stay in the Airbnb that I had booked; someone else was already there. :-( However, Nathan was immediately responsive and compensatory upon discovery of this nightmare and got us into a comparable Airbnb in the same city. It was just as enjoyable for my family of 7. Nathan (and property manager Mel) did everything they could to ensure my family and I were well taken care of during our stay. They helped make a nightmare situation go from 'worst ever' to 'best experience possible!' Thank you so much to Nathan and Mel. If I could choose to stay at their properties and not have to deal with Airbnb, I would again and again!

What a special place on the north shore! Taking in the waves and wind energized our souls. We meandered on Gitche-Gami by bike, ventured to Lutsen and Grand Marais and filled our bellies at Coho on our way out. We are so grateful for this welcoming and cozy space. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Lake Superior retreat while volunteering and spectating at the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon. The location was perfect—peaceful, scenic, and provided easy access to key race spots like the checkpoint Sky port, Otter Lake road crossing, and the Grand Portage finish. It was also an easy drive to Grand Marais for dining and exploring. The cabin is a perfect mix of rustic charm and comfort, with stunning lake views and cozy in-floor heating. After long days out in the cold, it was the perfect place to warm up and unwind. Tiffany was an excellent host—extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive. The property’s history, nearby Hovland Dock, and surrounding trails make this a special place for any North Shore adventure. We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax and explore this beautiful area!

Jereme, was so helpful with all aspects of our 4 night stay at this Beautiful spot near the Poplar River. Skiing out was a breeze and we had enough snow to ski all the way back as well. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool at Caribou and everyone enjoyed this wonderful skiing experience. Great host and great spot at Lutsen Mountains!

We enjoyed our stay at Iver’s place very much! The house was very clean and we were so impressed with all the little extras. We took full advantage of the sauna, games, and guide books. This would be such an awesome spot in the summer with the wonderful patio and access to the fire pit. Also, it was a big plus that our dog could join us!

This place was perfect to stay at for a weekend of skiing at Lutsen. The view of Lake Superior from the balcony was absolutely beautiful! The pool and hot tub were conveniently located in the same building and easy to find. We would stay at this place again!

We had a wonderful girls' weekend! Beautiful views, fireplace, relaxing spaces, comfy beds, all the amenities one would need, including makeup remover & phone chargers next to the lamps, was a nice touch! Hot tub and pool were wonderful! Great recommendations for places to go around Tofte, Lusten & Grand Marais! Thank you for being amazing hosts! It was definitely a home away from home!
