La Barn Bleue sits on top of a hill by a forest, in a secluded and peaceful property. The main house, where we live is 150 feet down the hill. The apartment sleeps up to 4 people. The bedroom/lounge loft has one king bed and 2 twin beds. Ideal for families and kids above 5 years old. Because we use a rope railing, we cannot host kids under 5 years old for security reasons. Garrett and Paul's place met our needs well. We spent very little time there, but the beds were comfy, and the place was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet, and felt very safe. There are a couple of kitchen features that would keep me from a longer stay if I wanted to cook there. Do look at the photos carefully...there is only a plug-in single-burner cooktop. Also, the sink in the bathroom doubles as a kitchen sink. Just depends what the renters' needs are. It definitely worked for our needs.

We keep returning to Harley's Hideaway because it is always a lovely peaceful place to relax to getaway for a few days. Close to Innisfree Gardens (just gorgeous!) and Milbrook Winery, and went apple/pumpkin picking this week at Grieg Farm in Red Hook. The apartment is comfortable and we love the deck.

We loved Vivian’s tiny home! The space is exactly as photographed and described; it’s cute and serene. Vivian herself is incredibly sweet, cool, and hospitable; she got back to us quickly when we reached out with her questions and personally offered to guide us around the property upon our arrival. If you choose to visit Cold Spring (which I suggest you do), I highly recommend staying in this AirBnB. It’s affordable, close to Main St and the trails, and, overall, a lovely space to stay in. This will be my review. This place is special!! The Cat's Meow is a delightful place to stay on in so many ways. The house is a beautiful old farmhouse that has been cared for and furnished with love and care. It is not your generic air B and B supplied with cheap furniture, this is a house that represents the Hudson Valley and the people who lived here. All of the rooms and bedrooms are spacious, each with their own TV, extra blankets and pillows. We stayed here with our family and dog for one cold night in March and found it to be a cozy, comfortable place with everything you would need and more. There are a couple of sitting rooms, one with a piano, a dining area and a well stocked kitchen with fresh milk in the fridge for the coffee options provided. The bathrooms are large, clean (look recently renovated) and stocked with amenities. The hosts thought of everything to make their guests feel welcome. Situated near farming fields, but not far from downtown.

I had an amazing stay at Charlotte’s home! The Mountain View was absolutely beautiful and made for a perfect, peaceful retreat. The house was spacious, clean, and had fantastic furniture—very comfortable and stylish. Lando, my golden retriever, was welcomed with open arms, and he loved the surroundings as much as I did. The location is ideal for anyone who loves nature, with lots of trails nearby. Plus, there’s a charming country store just down the road with a delicious breakfast spot. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great amenities!

I was looking for a quiet weekend away from the city and found it in this property. David was kind enough to show me a different property that wasn't booked, a more secluded and private location, which was exactly what I wanted. He made the switch with no trouble, provided farm fresh eggs and a stocked kitchen, etc. This isn't glamping but if you want a private, nature-y retreat with easy access to the Metro North, I highly recommend!
