Cabin vacation rentals in Dutchess County

4 humans and 2 dogs, we all had a fantastic time at this house! The house itself is very. large, spacious and interior is so cute, everything is functioning well, to stay comfortably. It is actually amazing for EVERYTHING to be working in a large house like this! Also all the details about stay is written in the manual - well organized binder, so you can always refer back to it in case you have any questions. The owners are also very responsive via email too :) I esp loved the landscape of the huge garden, it is beautifully taken care of, with nice lighting at night. Kids enjoyed trampoline, and we all soaked in hot tub outside in the snow, it was amazing! I just wanted to stay in a spacious beautiful comfortable house and relax, read, play board games, cook, stroll, - quality time with love ones, so it was absolutely perfect for that !

This cabin is chic, cozy, and in a beautiful secluded location, such that you can take a dip in the hot tub listening only to birds. It's a true getaway treat. Highly recommend.

If you’re reading this to decide whether to book, do it - this was such a nice stay! Came up for a last min bday trip and feel lucky we got to stay here. Brian is an uncommonly good host and went above and beyond in so many ways - great communicator, flexible, gave us extra recs when stuff nearby was closed, provided a great local guidebook, and stocked the house so well (I like to cook and there was an actually well-stocked kitchen there). We didn’t find ourselves needing any essentials and the house had a lot of well-thought out comforts (insane hot tub, heated toilets, a ton of seating). On top of that the house is set up for fun at home - communal lounge area for a big group, pool table downstairs, board games, easy to use projector, silly wigs, big yard, a fridge that plays spotify (???) & we brought our pickleball set and played outside. These guys really know what they’re doing - thank you for a great stay and we will definitely be back when it warms up!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, modern, and well-equipped it was. The hot tub was the perfect addition, providing a relaxing and private retreat. Steven was the most gracious and thoughtful host we could have asked for. He truly went above and beyond to make our Valentine’s Day weekend special, greeting us with chocolate-covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. His personal touch made the experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to return, and we’re already looking forward to experiencing it in the summer!

This place was so peaceful and gorgeous! We stayed here during the A Weekend in the Life event and it was such an easy drive into town and to all the activities. The house itself had great amenities and things to do! During our stay, the heater did break, but our host was on top of it. The house has a pellet stove that kept it toasty, so she had 5 bags of pellets delivered to the house for us, she had someone come out and service the pellet stove and she had someone come out to service the heat all in one day! They were accommodating and helpful. We also had our dogs with us who has plenty of space and the airbnb didn’t smell like dog. You couldn’t tell it was a pet friendly place. We loved it!

Fantastic and cozy, eclectic and familiar. our stay was short but felt right at home. Joselin was attentive, the location picturesque and we would highly recommend as a quiet getaway.

We are grateful for the time visiting this magical place. The grounds are unbelievably gorgeous, as if out of a story or a painting, with different spaces to walk, sit, read or play catch. The pool is warm and lovely with an adjacent shared pool house space offering a shaded sitting area, a restroom and sauna. Hibiscus House is spacious, comfortable, incredibly well appointed and featured decor and small touches that belong in a design magazine. Every detail or potential guest need was considered and covered with the planning for this home. Lisa was communicative and responsive leading up to our arrival. She met us and provided a great tour when we arrived and checked in while we were there. She went above and beyond as a host and we are so appreciative.

We had a fantastic week at Justin’s house in Amenia. It was beautiful, private, spacious and although incredibly well appointed, unfussy and perfect for young children. The kids’ bedroom with bunk beds and space to play was perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious — perfect for staying in and cooking meals. The property is also great. We would have spent more time outside except it was very cold! But the kids loved exploring the kids play cabin and “hiking” the drive way. The fireplace is stunning and instructions were clear and easy to follow. We loved setting a warm fire every evening. It was a wonderful place to spend the last week of winter break. I’m from the area and loved visiting spots in Millbrook too, just a short 15 min drive away. We would love to stay again!

David’s place is a beautiful, rustic hideaway with incredible details. We had such a relaxing stay! The interior has hand carved reclaimed beams that give it an amazing ambiance. The fireplace is gorgeous and the giant windows allow you to soak up all the natural beauty. The grounds are extensive (over 50 private acres) and filled with hiking trails. We spotted deer and turkeys on our visit. Beyond the property, there are restaurants and quaint shops in nearby Pawling, and the Appalachian Trail and Empire State Trail make for incredible hikes and vistas.

We really enjoyed our time at Hutton Brickyards. We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open while we stayed there (Sun-Tuesday), but want to stay again in the future (on a weekend) to indulge. Was a tranquil, relaxing experience and we loved our cabin and being able to sit by the river. Wish the cabin came with utensils/soap for the kitchen. Something to remember for the future!

Sean’s place was the perfect getaway from the craziness of the city. The home itself was beautiful and well-equipped, and it was surrounded by nature and tranquility. We even saw a bunch of deer hanging around! Loved the fireplace and the overall coziness of the place. Very much looking forward to going back!

While our original booking had an unexpected leak that impacted check-in and stay, Mary was immediately responsive and relocated us to an upgraded property just minutes away. The seamless transition was much appreciated by me and my three other guests. Mary's understanding and dedication to a positive experience was authentic - and we'll be sure to contact her first for our next trip to the Hudson Valley!

We really enjoyed our stay. The little cottage has everything you need. The unexpected April snow, while pretty, caused us to cozy up and relax and this was a great place to do that. The place is decorated so nicely, like a little museum. Cottage was super clean and well stocked. Plenty of outdoor space. Surrounding neighborhoods are beautiful. We visited Rhinebeck for dinner, Woodstock for lunch and cupcakes, Kingston for Upstate Sports Cards, and Redhook. We’ll definitely be back.

About as perfect an AirBnB stay as you can ask for. The hosts instructions and guides are thorough and convenient. The house itself is beautiful and well decorated, not to mention just very comfortable and welcoming. Plus, a view of the lake that we weren't expecting! Plenty to explore in the area as well. Ariella and Adam were quick to respond and very friendly. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Phoebe’s place was absolutely amazing—don’t think twice, just book it! I had the most peaceful weekend. The property is quiet, cozy, and beautifully maintained. My son and I had such a special time, and I’m already planning our next stay. The beds are super comfortable, and Phoebe is so kind and welcoming. The best part? The serene stream right outside, with ducks passing by—it felt like a little piece of paradise. Everything you need is nearby, with plenty of great restaurants to choose from. Can’t wait to come back this summer!

We had a wonderful 4 day visit at Rick's Sunset Bungalow. The property was as described and the bungalow itself was cozy and clean. Rick's communication was terrific and the links and videos of directions and how things worked was a tremendous help. Rick is a great host and I can only imagine his other rentals are just as nice as the bungalow. Thank you for having us Rick!!!

Tina’s place is fabulous. The modern decor and architecture is beautiful. The location is peaceful and the fenced in yard was amazing; our dog loved roaming around and exploring. The outdoor space is great for grilling and sitting around the fire pit. We especially loved the kitchen. It is fully appointed and the kitchen island is incredible for prep and serving. The washer dryer combo was an excellent touch and we were able to do a couple of quick washes so that everything was clean and ready to unpack at home. Saving the best for last; the soaker tub in the master bedroom is luxurious and relaxing. Thank you, Tina. We can’t wait to visit again soon.

We booked this trip last minute during our daughter’s spring break. It was a little under 2 hours from NYC and felt like a world away. The hosts were always available and helpful with everything down to local suggestions. Every detail of the cabin is thoughtfully laid out and provided. We slept four comfortably, but mostly spent our time outside. The property alone offers many trails to explore and made us feel entirely off the grid. The porch around the cabin had locks which would be great for young kids or pets. The surrounding towns were cute and restaurants were excellent. Everything including a supermarket seems to be 10 minutes or under, but we mainly liked staying on the property. We can’t wait to come back in warmer months to go tubing!
