Vacation rentals in Durrow

We (family of four) stayed in Ashleigh and Micks lovely cottage for a week. The cottage is very private with beautiful countryside views. It is really nicely decorated, and comfortable with a beautiful kitchen which was very well equipped, with all utensils, an oven, hob, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. Communication in advance of visiting was very clear and we easily found the cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it - thanks very much Ashleigh and Mick!

We had a lovely stay with Colette in one of her lodges recently. The place was cosy, warm and felt very homely. Colette came to meet us when we arrived as I had said our little boy was afraid of dogs. She even left us some of her own hens eggs which were delicious for breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to going back.

A great base for a family wedding. Full of rustic charm and plenty of space for two separate families. The scenery around was stunning with lots of local walks. There was every comfort for a mid-winter stay; logs for the fire, electric blankets for every bed and even hot water bottles! We paid extra for the newly refurbished en-suite room downstairs which was a real bonus. I’d definitely recommend Michael’s house for a large group looking for rustic charm in the countryside.

Angela is a friendly and responsive host, and was very welcoming and helpful. The cottage is lovely, cosy, well equipped and the milk, snacks and board games provided were an added bonus. I would highly recommend.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here last weekend for his birthday, it was absolutely gorgeous everything was so spotless and the hot tub was definitely worth it . It was very quite and peaceful , we really enjoyed it and will definitely be back soon ☺️ The host was extremely helpful and nice , I will definitely be returning again !

Steve and Áine were excellent hosts, very friendly! The cabin was exactly as described on the website. We had a great barbecue and an amazing time there. The view of the lake was beautiful. I forgot an item at the cabin, and they kindly offered to send it to me. It was a fantastic experience overall!

A really lovely house. Very cosy and peaceful. Was perfect for a family with young kids but would also suit a family with older kids or adults. Good kitchen and living area for staying in and a porch. It is remote but there are houses around and a shop 5 mins away. Near to Kilkenny and Waterford for exploring and there is a mountain trail a few mins away. Good value and Donal was a kind and helpful host.

We had a lovely time at Diana's cottage. It lived up to are expectations and was very relaxing and restful. The property was very comfortable and spacious for the 2 of us. There were scones and coffee for waiting for us on our arrival and this was very nice. We would recommend this properly and will go back again.

Paula's apartment was perfect, lots of lovely thoughtful touches that made our stay so much more enjoyable. She provided plenty of food for our breakfast which was an added bonus. Thanks so much Paula hopefully we will be back soon xx

Great little place . Has everything you need for a well rested sleep and a lovely hot shower after a day of walking . Peaceful and quiet area.

The cottage is packed with everything you might need in the kitchen, bedroom or bathroom Variety of 6 different kinds of ground coffee, and instant one on the top, - unbelievable. what we didn't like - the shower not hot enough, not strong enough, and the view of the backyard from the windows. Anyway, we had a perfect stay. Thank you Rose.

Alan is a great host. The location was great, green and peaceful. He gave us many good recommendations on how we could spend our time here and we enjoyed our stay. We definitely will be coming back soon.
