We recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely cottage with friends over the weekend, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the place was. It felt welcoming and cozy, making it the perfect getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the hot tub. It added a wonderful touch to our weekend. Overall, this cottage exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice weekend away with friends or family.

We loved our stay here. Cosy, comfortable and delightfully warm with the log burner despite the cold weather outside. We enjoyed a couple of long bracing walks up in the South Downs Way, accessible straight out of the front door on foot and in the evening, dinner at the Bluebell pub just a few minutes drive away. We loved this place! Location was excellent, peaceful yet only a short walk into town by the river. There are some good pubs nearby for food and drink, plus a Co-op foodstore. The accommodation is on the first floor of a terraced property, up some steep steps. Andrew supplied us with detailed instructions to locate the property, although we only received the code to the key-box on the day of arrival. The house is beautifully furnished, and we felt at home straight away. The living space, dining area and small kitchenette are all in one room, overlooking a green space. Everything you need is provided. The bed in the main bedroom is comfortable, the bed in the second bedroom was less so. Bedrooms are a bit lacking in storage space, I think the large chair in the main bedroom would be better replaced by a chest of drawers. Also the shower in the en-suite is currently not working, but not a problem as we used the shower in the main bathroom. We'd happily stay here again.

Amazing place, privileged to have experienced both lodges and I cant actually pick which one was better as they were both beautiful with amazing surroundings. Would definitely recommend to all. Thank you

Booked this place for my wife's birthday and it was amazing all down to the last detail! The apartment is just as it looks in the pictures with lots to do and fun to be had! Enjoyed the hot tub area which was really nicely done! The goody bag left by the host was a really nice touch! Oxford street is opposite with plenty of restaurants and cocktail bars so the location is perfect! Would really recommend for anyone wanting to get away for a romantic night or two!

Such wonderful accommodation in a lovely part of the country. I would certainly recommend Mill Stream Cottage to anyone contemplating a quiet getaway.

We enjoyed a lovely stay here with our family. The house has a nice open plan feel with lots of light. There are beautiful walks along the coast and harbour and a quaint, pretty village with lots of lovely pubs and cafes. Mark was a great host!

We had a fantastic week away at Stag Cottage. Cindy and Lina couldn’t have been more welcoming. The cottage is very cosy in beautiful surroundings. Stag cottage was very clean, and stocked with everything you could need. The generous hamper and welcome gifts were very much appreciated. We loved using the games room and hot tub. Cindy was so responsive from the initial enquiry and it always felt that nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend and we will be to our friends and family. Hope to be back in the future.
