We loved this stay, felt at home quickly, everything we needed was there and it was super clean and tidy! Our dog enjoyed his stay and settled well, he even had some treats left for him which were his favourite! And we had some lovely treats left for us too! Such a lovely welcoming touch! Very responsive hosts, gave great suggestions on local places to eat! Would very much like to stay here again!

Beautiful, peaceful and perfect. Everything we wanted for New Year's Eve, it felt like we had a country estate to ourselves apart from the deer.

The apartment is as pictured, comfortbale with beautiful views. It was the perfect spot for exploring the Lakes. There is also lots on offer at Whitbarrow Holiday Village making it a great place to stay.

We stayed over New Year, 6 of us including 2 small children. Everyone had a nice time, especially the kids as there was lots of space in the cottage and good facilites on site... pool, games room and cinema room. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Would stay again.

We stayed here as a family for my wife’s birthday and absolutely loved it. With a beautifully cleaned and well equipped home to breathtaking views and snow covered mountains, the whole trip was incredible. Shame we didn’t stay longer

Matt’s place was just perfect for our 4 night break in the North Lakes. Beautifully presented, well equipped and squeaky clean. We chose this accommodation in order to have access to the pool and gym within the resort hotel. We were not disappointed. We were able to take our two small dogs and the hotel staff were brilliant, allowing us to dine in the bar with them. We particularly enjoyed visiting the local Basecamp Farmshop a couple of times for breakfast and again the staff were fantastic as our dogs snuggled up by the woodburner whilst we ate. Ullswater is but a short drive away and we had a fabulous time there, taking some spectacular photographs of the magnificent scenery. Matt was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any of our queries. All in all a fantastic stay - would highly recommend! 😊

The house was incredibly comfortable and super clean. The bedding, including the duvet and pillows, was exceptionally cozy and made our stay very warm and pleasant. The host personally greeted us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place!

We had an amazing time at Nigel’s lodge! The pool table was a great touch - played lots of games over the weekend. Lovely and clean and easy to access. Not too far from the driving range and shops etc. will be back !

Would 100% recommend staying at the Riverain Coach House. We recently stayed with some friends and enjoyed local walks close to the house, a good selection of local pubs nearby but would recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment. However with Penrith and shops being only 10 minutes away, it wasn't a problem. The house has been done up beautifully and is really well equipped. Christine was great, providing lots of helpful information before our stay and the welcome hamper went down a treat. Thank you so much, we would 100% stay again.

We had such a lovely stay, James was very helpful and responsive. The house felt like a home from home and had everything we needed and more. It was the cleanest Air BnB we've stayed in, with the most comfertable bed we've stayed in too! Neighbours were really helpful and friendly. The children loved waving to the horses. The parents loved having a filter coffee with a sea view, it was bliss. We can't wait to stay again, thanks so much!

Just had a fabulous weekend away as the first of my sixtieth birthday celebrations. could not fault the accommodation for anything, so clean, welcoming and well equipped. Perfect place to chill out have a great catch up with old friends. thank you so much

What a wonderful cottage and wonderful lady to deal with. The cottage was made ready for us within an hour, as we decided to make a last minute stop over en route to Scotland. Pristine, perfect pad that my family loved, we will be back. Can’t thank you enough for being so helpful :) x

Great place to stay in a stunning location. Some really nice pubs close by (only a few minutes drive). We went into Keswick for the day and it was only a 15minute drive away. Would definitely stay here again.

Such a beautiful house in a lovely village, perfect for heading straight out on foot for long walks into the Lake District. David was great to communicate with, responded very quickly to all messages and even laid fires for us before we arrived. The house was spotless, incredibly comfortable (the best beds we've ever slept in) with so much space and a huge living room for relaxing in front of the fire. We had an amazing weekend staying there. Thank you David.

Melissa’s place is lovely, clean, cosy and comfortable. The bathroom is perfect. The bedrooms are clean, comfortable and warm. The livings space is homely, user friendly and has all necessary amenities. Kitchen has lots of essentials to make for an enjoyable stay. Melissa even provided milk, bread, butter tea and coffee etc. which was a lovely addition. Thank you. Two very minor disappointments which were; dishwasher out of use which is not the end of the world just inconvenient slightly. Also we saw a wood burner in one of the advertising pictures however this is not listed on the description and is not installed. So our mistake but the photos indicated a fire. Overall a lovely stay for a family of 4 on a mini break. Would recommend to a friend.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Jade was the perfect hostess and really helpful. Kitchen is an amazing social space and all rooms are spacious and clean. Had a fantastic Christmas here with 5 other adults and a dog. Would definitely go back.

Had a wonderful holiday in Julie's fabulous Georgian house. So comfortable, with everything we could wish for. Great time exploring the machars and some family history discoveries. Highly recommend.

Very clean and homely. It was the first chilli evening. Christopher was very quick to turn on the heating after we messaged him. We also enjoyed the bar of chocolate that was left!

Staying at Lorna's place was very nice. The space is warm and cute, it has the essentials. When we arrived we found bread, milk, coffee and tea for us. The bed is comfortable and everything works fine. Thank you for everything Lorna!!

Tracey's place afforded us the relaxing environment we were looking for to share quality time as a family. It equally had a 'home away from home' atmosphere where we could cook meals, read books in a cosy and comfortable way and equally get on a train to explore all that Scotland has to offer. We can't wait to go back!
