Perfect accommodation for us, sufficient double or single rooms. Great amenities in the kitchen and the possibility to take drinks and coffee directly at fair prices was perfect for our weekend getaway. Optimal location for our trips to the Mining Museum and the Starlight Express. And finally, I would like to mention the good communication. Although we didn't have much of the outside area, the view was great. the bathrooms were brand new, which felt good. The beds were a little older and comfortable. It suited our purpose. thank you 😊

There were ten of us in Andrea's place and we had a wonderful time! The property is equipped with everything you need and has enough seating, bathrooms and toilets for the high number of guests. The surroundings offer a lot - whether hiking, boating, swimming or strolling through the small town. You can do a lot or just enjoy the time relaxing in the accommodation.

This is one of the most amazing stays we have rented. The cottage is really equipped with everything! You can't think of it so crazy, or it's present. Communication with the family is very good. The garden is fantastic, very nicely landscaped and very large. The beds are good, the showers are very nice and there is an abundance of towels. The kitchen appliances, the coffee machine, the dishwasher and also the microwave are of good quality. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside and eat at the large table. There is a TV, a sound system, really and everything has been thought of. I will definitely recommend house Geni to family Friends and acquaintances.

It was quite easy to find, the host was very kind and met us around 20:30. The place itself was spotless clean and had everything that was listed. Additionally, the kitchen, bathroom and sauna were pristine cleaned. The glass in the bathroom was so clean for a moment we thought that were was no glass. Sauna was excellent and we even started a nice little fire one day. Very peaceful with allot of opportunity for hiking and nature. And very easy connection to Dusseldorf via the train with free parking at the train station in the small town. Would go back again without a doubt.

We had a very nice week in the house! The arrival was completely fine and the house is very spacious. You have a lot of space in the bathroom, the master bedroom and also there is a lot of space for your belongings. The kitchen is fantastically fitted with everything you need. The host are super nice and quick to respond to questions. The garden is fenced off and lovely for children to play. We heard the highway outside, but probably also because there was no leaf on the trees yet the week we were there. The garden set was lovely with pillows. Only downside was the sofa, it sits quite hard and was less comfortable than it looked in the photos. The windows can all be blinded against sunlight, ideal if you want to sleep in the dark. In short: a beautiful holiday week. Thank you to these super hosts!

Jens welcomed us at really short notice. The property was clean and modern, with off street parking. Jens also showed us his tiny house and tree house, which are also on AirB&B, so check them out for a unique experience. Would definitely recommend it, and it’s great for families.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We had a great long weekend in the beautiful and cozy accommodation of Birgit and Dirk! The house is in a great location for walking to the center of Xanten and the archaeological park, but also for getting to the Bislicher Insel nature reserve. Shopping and a bakery are also a 10-minute walk away. Birgit and Dirk welcomed us very warmly and were extremely flexible with regard to arrival and departure. We were given great recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area and we felt very comfortable overall. If you are looking for peace and a break in nature, you are in great hands here thanks to the location and the great garden. We can definitely recommend the place and would book again and again!

Every letter is true, what a top location. Our family (10p) has greatly enjoyed this oasis of luxury and comfort. Taken to the last detail. It's quite a lot of money, but worth every penny. Highly recommend. Only 1 small tip. A 2nd pool cue in front of the large Pool table. oh yes, the kitchen and all the wellness very well equipped.

We had a very pleasant stay at Timur’s house, which is modernly equipped, clean and depicted just as the pictures showed. Timur is nice and hospitable, even provided bread, sausage and ice cream for us. The house’s location is awesome and just 15-20 minutes’ to Messe Dusseldorf and 10 minutes to Krefeld Hbf. Grocery store and parks are just several minutes’ walk. Krefeld is a quiet and friendly city. We love everything here! Will be expecting to be back next year! Thank you again, Timur

This was our last and most beautiful stay of our trip. It's a gem, we love the decor of the cottage, you feel like you're in a movie decor and the garden is a fairytale, wonderful to roam around in. All amenities available and the pool completes it all! It's a unique place to stay, don't hesitate if you come across it for Airbnb.

The place is exactly as shown in the pictures. Quietly located and perfect for relaxing ! The city with shopping and restaurants is about 7 minutes away by car. Ursula was a super hostess and we will definitely be back :))) P.S. If you go in winter or in colder temperatures and you freeze quickly then take a hot water bottle with you, the cottage is only heated with the fireplace and logically cools down a bit at night.

We spent new years eve here and it was cozy and quiet, the views were nice even though the weather was bad; the place has even more to offer in spring or summer with the pool and outside spaces to relax and unwind. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. If you are tall, be mindful that the upstairs space are not so high, if you arr taller then 1.90 it will be more challenging.

The really big house has many beautiful rooms furnished with attention to the details. Everyone has their own flair and there is something to discover everywhere. Very cozy and dreamy. The pool was - in addition to the picturesque kitchen that looked like the Lord of the Rings - the highlight of the house. We had a lot of space here, fun and hope to visit more houses like this.

Dieter is a great host, his house was quite clean and he was a very helpful host. There was only one minor negativity for me which was the heating. Only A/C is available for the heating but we visited in a cold season and it was not that sufficient. Other than that everything was great! I definitely recommend the place.
