Vacation rentals in Dudley

We booked a last minute stay at The Hide, somehow managing to miss the fact that storm Darragh was expected! We continued tentatively with our plans and had some really reassuring contact throughout the day with Katie re the weather conditions and roads etc. We arrived in the dark, the instructions to get to the accommodation were spot on and easy to follow. The accommodation itself was everything you see in the pictures and made for the ultimate cosy night away, warmed by the log fire whilst the storm raged outside. The views we woke up to the next morning were stunning and we enjoyed a breakfast of fresh eggs which Katie had kindly left for us as well as a loaf of bread. We found the stay had everything we needed for a night away and Katie offered us a late checkout which was a real bonus and allowed for a lazy morning drinking coffee by the fire. We would definitely recommend a stay at The Hide if you are looking for a cosy private bolthole surrounded by nature!

Just spent a long weekend with 2 other couples at this lovely cottage. A bit tricky to find in the dark and for Waze you have to put in Penkridge Cottage (next door) to get there. Comms with Shane were faultless leading up to the stay and he greeted us personally. The accommodation is very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There are extensive gardens with farmyard wildlife (cats, chickens, sheep, pheasants, deer etc) and fruit trees. We appreciated having Sky TV to watch the Grand Prix and other shows. The hot tub was a welcome relaxation after a day's sightseeing. Much Wenlock is a lesser known gem with fascinating buildings and a trail that takes in the Olympian history of the place. The historic town of Ironbridge is just a short drive away as well. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Thank you, Shane.

A perfect place to stay with our dog, far away from firework noise. Warm, comfortable and peaceful. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Loved the hot tub.

Simply lovely cottage, Very thoughtful host when I arrived there was a welcome package available. With the lights and heating on it was a warm welcome. Cottage has everything you need, well equipped kitchen. Good (slightly soft) bed and modern bathroom. Cosy living room with a fire place. When the garden at the back is finished (not that it is a construction site at the moment), it could bring even more joy in the summer. To get to the cottage you have to take some stairs (not too extreme but good to know if you have mobility issues). A 5 min walk away from the main street and a 10 min walk away from the “free arranged parking spot” Would recommend staying in this cottage.

Accommodation was first class .. hosts were very welcoming and accommodating… it really is home from home … and in these colder months it was nice that the property was kept really warm and cosy …. There really is nothing to fault .. they really do go above and beyond to make your visit perfect and memorable…. We will definitely return 💯

We had a lovely time at the cabin. We really enjoyed walking around the lakes and woodlands. The cabin is well designed and all amenities work well. Would look forward to visiting again.

Great place to stay for the weekend Clean , warm and spacious

Our party really enjoyed the space; we made full use of all the facilities which were all as described. Ideal space for a party and Adrian provided a friendly and informative service. I would definitely recommend!
