Waterfront vacation rentals in Dublin Southside

It was lovely to meet Frieda. She was super friendly and welcoming, and was excellent with communication through the app. We enjoyed our stay and the location.

A very clean, modern studio with a great bed, great TV options, a very nice reclining sofa for serious TV viewing, immaculate modern kitchen with dishwasher, super clean bathroom. A perfect pied-a-terre in a location I love--Clontarf. At the end near transit, so Dublin Center is only minutes away. Local shops and restaurants are numerous and very good. A great place to park your stuff, sleep, and go out and explore Dublin from.

We absolutely loved the week we spent staying at Elizabeth's apartment. It was truly a home away from home, very comfortable and completely stocked with everything we needed. Elizabeth also could not have been more helpful from start to finish. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable apartment with amazing views across the harbor from the large top floor patio. She was very flexible (early check-in) and responsive to our needs and questions. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences to date! Highly highly recommend.

We stayed at Yves for two nights and enjoyed every minute of it didn't want to leave! Yve was very accommodating and great with communication with us before we arrived. The apartment was warm and very well kept, also very spacious in the rooms and lots of room on the two balconies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be keen to book again in the future!

We had an amazing time at Kevin’s place. The house was exactly as described, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect—close to everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood, which made it a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was super comfortable. Kevin was a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating, making the check-in process seamless. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!

Great place! The apartment is wonderful and as shown in the pictures. It's very well located - right near the train station that takes you to the city center, and very close to the center of Dun Laoghaire which is lovely to explore. Jonothan was super responsive, friendly and happy to help with any query. HIghly recommended!

We had a great stay at Max’s appartment! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice place to stay outside of the busy city center of Dublin.

John’s apartment was perfect for our three adults. We loved the location - great food and coffee and pubs within quick walking distance. The view of the water and the promenade for walking and biking is just great and you can even swim across the street, if cold water is your thing. Highly recommended.

Our family had a lovely stay at Janet’s home. This was my third time in Dublin and it is challenging to find a home that can accommodate a family of six adults. This home was perfect. It has everything you could want in a rental home. The home is fully equipped, beds are comfortable and it’s beautifully decorated. Dalkey is so charming. It’s a 2 minute walk to the train that gets into city center in 20 minutes. There is a grocery store, coffee shop, bakery, pharmacy and multiple restaurants and pubs within a 5 minute walk. I highly recommend this rental.

John’s house is a great place for a family holiday. Really well equipped, homely, and in a great location, with off- street parking and a sun-trap back garden (paved). John is very pleasant and helpful. Greystones is a lovely seaside town, with many restaurants and cafes and beaches in charming coves - all in easy walking distance from John’s delightful marina-located house.

This house was so beautiful. Carmel met us and gave us a really good check in with information, the house was decorated beautifully for the festive season. The house had everything you could need and more. We have an amazing stay and will definitely return

Aine was a superb host offering outstanding flexibility when our flight home was cancelled. The home and garden are amazing! Area was quiet yet very convenient. Grocery and restaurants in walking distance. A tram station was a few minutes walk. We definitely will stay here on any future trips to Dublin. Wish we had stayed longer as Ireland has so much to offer a visitor

Oh, I loved this house. Such a perfect, peaceful location. I already miss walking the cliff road to get coffee each morning. And sitting by the upstairs windows, gazing out at the ocean and the walkers. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The shower was strong and hot. Caroline was great with communications and in fact, left the best ---most useful (eggs/milk/butter)---welcome basket I've ever received at a vacation house rental.

Tony has been an incredible host! We were in between houses as we were waiting for our new house to be renovated and there was a lot of delay. Tony let us stay for a long as we needed even well beyond the 6 weeks originally agreed. Tony’s kindness and flexibility was a true life saver for our young family. I would recommend this lovely stay to anyone. Tony is a fantastic host, the location is just perfect, close to beautiful Howth and only a minute walk from the shops and there are parks all around.

Had the most lovely stay at the River Lodge. My husband and I went on our honeymoon to Ireland and found this quaint place to stay at for the first week! We flew in early and was able to check-in. Got there and accidentally locked myself out of the place, 5 minutes after arriving and Amaya came to the rescue right away! Every morning was beautifully peaceful and not far from Blessington! Definitely will be back to stay here or at another one of Amaya’s places in the future if we make it back to Ireland!:)

This was a great place to stay- a bit off the beaten track of the city Centre but very walkable (20 mins) to the tourist areas or an inexpensive cab ride. Great restaurants right across the street..local pubs or finer dining available, and a convenient store as well. The suite was exactly as described by David. He was quite helpful by sending detailed instructions on how to get into the apartment. And checked in to be sure we made it. The place felt very safe and was full of kitchen necessities such as butter, cream, spices, coffee, etc. Although the bathroom was small, it was all that was needed and included blow dryer,shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Overall the place is typical of a European flat… small but quite cute & functional! The only negative was that the couch/sofa was uncomfortable… but we spent minimal time on it, as we were out taking in the sites of the area. Would definitely recommend this as it was a nice place to call “home” at the end of a busy day. Thanks D & E

Perfect location right in the heart of Dublin. Easy check-in process and great communication. We loved our stay!

We neeeded a 2 bedroom place near the Mater Hospital so Clo's place fit the bill and we were warm and comfy. Beds were good and overall the apt is nicely equipped and very central. Enjoyed having the open space of the canal to look out onto and the very good Indian restaurant 'Mint Leaf' up the road Drumcondra direction. Once the construction work is done on the new greenway right outside the window that will be another plus for the apt's location. Loved the blue wall and the window alcoves - a bit of decor goes a long way! Clo is very responsive when we had the odd problem - being able to turn on the under counter lights in the kitchen made a big difference.

We did not want to leave this fantastic home. We were so comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. The home is spacious and allowed for us all to be able to have alone time while the common areas were perfect for gatherings. To wake up and see the sea was also a delight. 10 out of 10!!

Allensgrove is a real gem and we absolutely loved our two nights stay there. Amazing grounds, cute and fonctionnal unit. Sean and his dad were great hosts. We will be back!

Great location for walking the sea front, onto Clontarf village for restaurants and on the bus route for going in town. Well stocked with all the supplies we needed but it was very warm and sheets vs duvet would have been a welcome addition. We were just lucky with a warm spell.

Lovely apartment clean and spacious in a good location. Would highly recommend
