Vacation rentals in Drummond

Great place with lots of space for a couple of relaxed days in the south of New Zealand. We spent a whole day just enjoying the view of the ocean from the deck and cooked in the well equipped kitchen. Within a short walk you are in a reserve with lots of cute sheep and lovely extended sea views for both sunrise and sunset! Thanks for having us.

Lovely stay, lots of fun games left out & great views from the house!

From the minute we arrived till the time we had to.leave our stay was perfect. Place was clean, beautifully kept, gorgeous paintings and saying around the house . We really enjoyed our time there. I will definitely be recomending this place. Beautiful, quiet and made us feel right at home. All the extra food in fridge and cupboard were also a bonus for us.

from the time I booked, till the day we left everything was easy, the cottage is the prefect place to base yourself if fishing or touring around Southland.. Comfortable, clean, and peaceful. great beds for a good sleep after 14hours of Fishing.. I will definitely use this accommodation again now I have found it.. thanks Rob for great communication and helpful local advice.. cheers Ant

Lynda as always was the perfect host. Would most definitely stay again if available. Lynda does many things well but her eggs are a stand out...perhaps that review should be reserved for the hens...? Great host and accomodating of cheeky inquisitive Scottish people.

Despite some wet weather we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is very comfortable to live in. We loved the wood fire and the bed was very comfortable. Hostess super friendly and helpful. Just loved the place.

I could tell from the time I booked Ida Cottage, Lumsden it was going to be a most enjoyable stay. Duncan was a great host and he communicated promptly in a most professional friendly way. Loved the liquid surprise in the fridge (the famous southern beer 'Speights') plus the Pinot Noir was a lovely drop - Thank you very much for that Duncan, a very thought gesture. If only I could take this accomodation with me wherever I trout fished in NZ. Best Lumsden accomodation + Best fishing guide in the South (Chris Dore) = a fantastic and memorable trip. I will certainly be back one day..!! Cheers ! Shaun

One of the best spots we’ve been to, beautiful and picturesque. The house was cosy and tidy. Stunning area. Highly recommend, my family and I had a great stay!

What an amazing stay! We absolutely loved this place and would have been happy to stay a whole week here. Very clean, comfortable, and cosy—it felt like a home and was very well-equipped too. Comfy beds and quality linen, and we loved the extra touches like the flowers on the bedside table and the invitation to enjoy the garden produce. This was a wonderful and memorable stay, and we can highly recommend it!
