Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

wow!!!!!!! absolutely stunning place with amazing surroundings and the accommodation was 2nd to none!! everything was pristine, and you could tell, the host has put their heart and soul, into this undertaking!!! A wonderful host, who made us both feel right at home, and was very attentive, friendly, and eager to make our stay, the best, that it could be!! As a group of four we had an excellent stay at Briardene. The cottage had plenty of space and was extremely well equipped and very clean and stylish. The hot tub was lovely and the quiet nights enabled a good night's sleep. There were two parking spaces which was great as the village is small with narrow roads. The village pub was warm and welcoming and the food was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Just arrived back from our Cornish Christmas getaway, staying at the Water Mill. It provided the exact cosiness and peace we were after deep in the heart of the Cornish countryside and was close to other explores such as Looe, Millendreath and Seaton. The facilities were all as described, and were clean to high-standard. The private hot tub is a lovely extra touch. Graham was very responsive and answered all our questions pre and post booking and was accommodating to our extra requests in relation to our one year old daughter. We would recommend a stay at East Trenean Farm for anyone looking for a similar stay.

Beautiful place to stay! Lovely enclosed garden for my two dogs to wonder around. Hot tub was lovely once we got the hang of it! Nice, clean and spacious inside. We went for a long walk round the area. Also drove to a beach about 40 mins away. Thank you again!

The house was lovely, we felt right at home. Claire was responsive to messages before our check in which made finding and checking in even easier. The kicthen was lovely and clean with lots of space. The bathroom was lovely and clean. Dartmoor is so pretty, the kitchen doors led right onto an amazing view of Dartmoor with an amazing sunset. The hot tub was amazing.

Wonderful stay at Apple Barn, Alan and Davina are fantastic hosts. We arrived to a wonderful welcome basket with a delicious home made lemon cake, even the dogs had a lovely little welcome basket which was so thoughtful. Peaceful and stylish stay with fab walks nearby or great day trips out and about. Perfect little getaway with the hot tub to unwind and reset!

The loveliest, most peaceful little paradise for a couple of days away from reality! The house was deceptively big with everything you need for a little stay, and great recommendations from Louise and Andrew on local amenities, pubs etc. Louise met us on arrival, walked us to the house and advised on using the hot tub. Otherwise left us to it but both Louise and Andrew were very responsive to messages as appropriate. The house was done up nicely and very clean, and the farm itself is beautiful and very peaceful. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful cottage, it was a stones throw from a beach and a short walking distance from a larger beach along the costal path and the causeway to Burgh island. Zoe & Charlie were super welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely be booking to stay again.

The cottage is nicely furnished and particularly fully and well equipped. The outdoor terraces also seem very nice in summer. William provides quick and clear answers. In short, particularly cozy and comfortable, comfortable cottage! Recommended!

Idyllic dog friendly cottage with access to coastal walks to local villages. Very peaceful area. Plenty of local information leaflets available to plan trips or games if staying in. Lovely little patio for morning coffee or evening drinks. Ideal for a chilled holiday. Everything well thought out for an enjoyable getaway.

Right from the get go Kelly was friendly and extremely helpful .. she changed the check in and out times , which were so helpful for us with our 2 year old grandson .. Artie loved the toys that were under the stairs it was all of these wonderful extras that made it homely .. about a 2 minute walk to the beach which was perfect as we were up and down a lot ! Lovely walks nearby and pub recommendations from Kelly .. we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend Kelly and her home

Although Dawn was away when we stayed she gave us all the information we needed and her husband was always on hand if we wanted to ask anything. The house was beautiful with a lovely garden and fields behind. It was quiet and not overlooked. Every thing we needed was there, including dog treats and bowls. We had a welcome pack of milk, fresh bread and biscuits which was much appreciated. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and the house is in a convenient place to visit many places. We would definitely stay again

Very cosy yet modern little cottage. All amenities worked well and we particularly liked the wood burner in the winter is so nice and cozy! We walked to Polperro which was quiet and picturesque was tricky in the winter but we made it!! Really clear instructions on the walks which were spot on. Owners greeted us on arrival and the scones were really tasty (best I’ve tasted).

We had a great week staying at Gate House West. Our 2 year old grandson loved it. The indoor pool was the stand out success....simple booking system and everyone stuck to their time slot. Loads of wild life around the estate .... absolutely beautiful.

Two of us have just returned from a six night stay at Garden Cottage. There was a welcome tray when we arrived which was welcome. The house and garden were peaceful and the gardens were beautiful even in March. You can walk down to North Beach in about 15 minutes and have a lovely cream tea in the Winking Pawn restaurant. You can walk down to Salcombe but it is a steep walk back uphill. Victoria answered our queries straight away. The cottage is a home from home, well equipped kitchen and lovely hot water in the shower. There are lots of National Trust houses to visit within drivable distance. Overbeck’s Garden is one you should not miss. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Such a lovely little cottage, perfect for the two of us. Had everything we needed, clean, cosy, and we felt right at home. We will definitely be recommending it to others who wish to visit the area. Hosts were very accommodating to our plans, kept in touch and were available if we needed it. We've returned to the city feeling very refreshed - thank you!

Jeanette was a lovely host, gave clear instructions of how to get to the cottage and we arrived to a very nice homemade cream tea! Upon arrival Jeanette gave lots of good recommendations of places near by to visit, a lot of which we did and we had a lovely 3 days. There are some beautiful walks in the area. The cottage was great - had a very homey feel to it. Comfortable bed, cosy fireplace, hot shower and everything you could need in the kitchen. The location was perfect, town and supermarkets close by but also felt very secluded and peaceful. Brilliant view of Brentor church from the garden, only a 15 minute walk away and a great place to visit during sunset. Thank you for the lovely stay Jeanette! We’d love to visit again soon :)

We had a wonderful week, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, running, walking and surfing in this beautiful location. Highly recommended.
