Magnificent is an understatement. This little gem is all we needed, from the location to the little treats on arrival. We love hot tubs and it being privately located away from other geusts was a bonus for me! Being able to open the door this morning and look out to a forest was a real treat! This is as one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had lately - an exquisite open plan cottage with beautiful furnishings with an outdoor seating area, a private fireplace and mountain views. Bronwyn is the perfect host, immediately responsive to all questions and requests, and providing excellent suggestions for exploring Hout Bay and beyond. A really amazing stay.

Absolutely incredible location - to wake up with views of the mountain and valley was special (the views from the veranda and hot tub too!). One pylon did obstruct all that nature slightly but it doesn’t impact the views! The trails were lovely to walk around - one slightly overgrown but manageable and the space was perfect for 3 nights and we very much loved cooking and relaxing! The pizza oven was the best bit and using the hot tub as a cold pool in the day, hot tub at night. The road is bumpy and our car was a little small so we had to be very careful - just as a note for future guests. One other note - our first night was incredibly windy (the other two were perfect!) and with our cabin being so exposed, we couldn’t then sit outside and the noise was intense in the night. Untether do provide ear plugs so we were helped by that!! Would highly recommend staying here and communication was fantastic!

What a beautiful place. Hot Tub was already warm when we got there with chocolate cookies on the bed. It had everything you need. You can basically rock up with food and drinks and have the time of your life relaxing and chilling. Definitely recommend.

We had such a lovely time at the cabin. The location was absolutely beautiful and so was the cabin. When we needed help with turning the hot tub on, Daniel was responsive and helped us promptly. We definitely would visit again!

Amazing little retreat, we were unaware of the nature reserve on the farm and were told it’s a must do upon arriving. We went in; 4x4’ed, swam in the dam, and saw a lot of wild life - Zebra, Antelope, giraffe and springbok. Best of all the dog loved it

It was the second time we stayed at Hannah's cottage within 2 years - that says it all. This place is magical. It is far from being one of these clean IKEA like furnished, anonymous airbnbs. This place has a soul and very good vibrations. (And a stunning view too). And that's why you book it.

Very nice cottage on the edge of the river. No access to the river but very peaceful area. Has all you need for a relaxing stay.

We had a great stay at the secret garden. For a moment in peace and quiet in the nature. The cottage is amazing and the view matches the space! The road to it was really challenging with a car that is low, or the road (potholes) needs to be adjusted or an SUV / 4x4 is recommended. We were able to do it, but we also just went. But otherwise it is a super location and nice cottage!

A cosy place with an awesome view, private living space and space for the kids to explore. Lea, the owner was more than eager to help with anything and both Lea and Candice responded to any questions quickly and clearly. highly recommend

We spent a wonderful week at this place! The accommodation was quiet and private, with a stunning view of the wide-open landscape – including zebras and springboks, which kept our little daughter wonderfully entertained. It was also perfect for short walks around the property, even to a small playground. The accommodation itself was beautiful, very clean, and tastefully furnished with character. It had everything one could need, and any small issues, such as broken items, were promptly and attentively addressed by the host. We felt completely comfortable and relaxed and can absolutely recommend this beautiful place!

The cottage is BEAUTIFUL!!! The pictures are stunning but they don't compare to being there in person. What an incredible space! So well thought out, and cosy. It has all the convenience of home and promotes tranquility and relaxation. The ocean views are magnificent, and the stars are just amazing on a clear night. Our pets also enjoyed the massive yard and nature of the koppie The whole space is just wonderful and we will definitely be back 😊

Acacia was 110% as described. The unit is private and the pool with views over the olive groves to the mountains and gardens were spectacular! The toiletries were luxurious. The provisions provided on check-in were thoughtful from the milk and kitchen supplies to the firewood for the bbq and hot tub. The unit is beautifully decorated and blended with the surroundings and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Exactly what we were hoping for as the kickoff to our holiday!

Thera was an amazing host she was so helpful and welcoming, we had such a lovely time it was so peaceful and the little getaway was needed, the cottage is secluded and you have a sense of privacy. The swimming pool was lovely.

We had such an amazing time at Nolene’s place. We had a 3 year old and 6 month old with us and the place was so comfortable. There was a cot and feeding chair for my baby and even a plastic bike and fishing net for my toddler. Comfortable loungers where I could breastfeed and watch the waves. The house is right on the beach and even though it isn’t a swimming beach it’s lovely to walk on and spot some sea creatures amongst the rocks. The house is within easy driving distance of most things and the main beach for swimming is also very close. Big bonus was the new hot tub recently installed. The hot tub over looks the beach and was just perfect to watch the sun set. The house has everything you need. Nolene was very attentive and quick to respond to any queries. Rebecca the cleaning lady was also really lovely. This place is a gem and I would definitely go back!

A fantastic cabin, so neat and cleverly designed. We so enjoyed the views and swimming in the dam. If you like to be out of the hustle and bustle then this is a must! Thank you Pierre

This was exactly what I needed as a get away. I felt like I was staying in a hotel room. Everything was better than what you see in pics and Denise was a tremendous host. Thank you and will see you sooner than you know it.

Wow what a truly incredible cabin in the lovely chilled town of Scarborough. Everything from the design, layout and comfort was perfect. The views were absolutely amazing and such a luxury to wake up to, we hardly wanted to leave because it was just the perfect spot to relax and have food and drink. It was so well equipped, had everything and more. Taryn was such a lovely host with great recommendations and always on call if we needed anything. The beach was walkable with a lovely cafe, shop and great coffee just down the hill. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area and soak up the beautiful surrounding scenery. We will definitely be coming back!

The accommodation was simply amazing. The view of Cape Town from the terrace, the sauna, or even the bed was truly impressive. Everything was just like in the pictures. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful. The location of the accommodation is quiet, and you feel safe. Everything was perfect all around :)
