My husband and I have stayed here many times. We love it, highly recommend. Perfect location, great atmosphere and gorgeous view. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Pierre’s home is lovely and well appointed. It was exactly as the photos depict. The home was spotless upon arrival and Pierre was easily reached to answer any questions. Our family of 4 was very comfortable. It was nice to be near nature but also near amenities and a short drive to downtown Ottawa.

Emily’s house was a dream and is highly recommended. Our family of 5 (with 3 kids under 10) spent a week at Emily’s house while in Ottawa to help out a family member. We were so grateful for Emily’s hospitality. As we were there during yet another wave of the pandemic, coupled with virtual school, we were basically in lockdown at the house - it could have been a very unpleasant week. Instead, it was truly wonderful to have Emily’s beautiful home to feel grounded in. The house was clean, comfortable, exactly as represented in the pictures, and we were struck by the attention to detail. The communication with Emily was perfect. After a week in the house, we joked about staying a week longer! There is no doubt that we will return.

Bob and Kerri’s house was perfect! It was so beautifully decorated, light and airy and very well stocked! Plus, the location was fantastic! We loved walking to town every day and going to the bakery for delicious pastry’s! The yard was beautiful and great for sitting outside on a nice day! The house was so clean and everything was very comfortable! Checking in and checking out were both so easy! Bob and Kerri were super responsive when we had questions! They had a great on line handbook about all the good restaurants and things to do! This house and location were one of the best we have ever stayed in. We stayed at Michaels for 4 weeks as we are new to Canada. The location is unmatched, private entrance straight onto a park and the river, and squirrels as neighbours. The space has everything you could want, cooking utensils, a toaster oven and microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. It also has 2 hobs for cooking. Honestly perfect for a long term stay. The bed is huge and the bathroom has a bath and shower, full washer dryer too. The living space was really comfortable, TV and all the apps you could need. What stood out the most was Michael and his family, they were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, had great recommendations and were overall great people to have around if you are new to the area. We couldn’t have had a better first experience of Ottawa if we tried!

Patrick was a great host, always responsive and communicated all details we needed prior to our stay and while we were there. His place looks new, is clean and is close to everything. My family of 5 were in town for the 2025 World Junior Hockey Tournament and the house was the perfect distance to Kanata and downtown Ottawa. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Ottawa stay here. Finally, we visited the Parliament buildings and museums during our stay, all within 20 minutes of the house.

We had a wonderful stay. Very quiet neighbourhood. Great location and the rental was spotless and had everything needed for a perfect stay. We would stay here again without any hesitation.

Great value for the money. Close to Rideau Canal, grocery store (2 blocks), Bank Street. Clean. Well set up. Good parking. Note that location is close to major highway so there might be more background noise than you are used to.

Our stay was as wonderful as ever. The house is lovely, the kitchen extremely well supplied and the house is beautifully furnished. It is a good size for our family with 3 adult children as there are different spaces in which to relax and enjoy. The house is situated in the Glebe which is a great neighbourhood full of little shops and restaurants. I have to admit that I enjoy staying at Bart’s so much that I almost want to keep it a secret!

Perfect winter escape. Nancy’s place is even better than the (already amazing) pictures. I highly recommend.

This was our fifth time renting the house and we had a wonderful family Christmas there. We appreciate the character, layout and charm of the house. The views are spectacular and we are really comfortable there. Thanks again for a wonderful family getaway.
