Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Downtown, Anchorage

Kris had the courtesy to host us on the Christmas night, and gives us a warm welcome and a walkthrough of the place! We had a blast here. The place is 5-10min away from walking trail, and 15 min from downtown. Very convenient to tour around. The place itself is spacious and cleans The fireplace is absolutely a plus. Overall, amazing place. Thanks so much for having us!!

We came from Texas to visit with our daughter who is in the Air Force. We loved the place it was so spacious and I especially enjoyed the front patio with a warm cup of coffee. The kitchen was fully equipped since I did lots of home cooking for my daughter. We spent Christmas in Anchorage and it was great to have everything so close by, like Hilltop skiing, Barbara Falls, Alaska Zoo, downtown shopping and let’s not forget eating at Moose’s Tooth. In the evening we enjoyed playing games that were in the house. Thank you for making our Christmas great by setting up the beautiful Xmas tree, although right outside the window you will see the most beautiful Xmas tree, thank you again.

We had the most incredible NYE stay. The Northern Lights came out right around midnight and we rang in the new year gathered in the driveway admiring the lights dancing over the mountains! The home was perfectly located with the most stunning view. Very clean and well stocked with everything you might need for comfortable accommodations. We will definitely be back!

The checkmate house was exactly what we were looking for and needed for our stay in anchorage. Wil was very helpful and responsive. While our stay was short, we had everything we needed and plenty of room for our large party. We would definitely stay here again if we were stopping in anchorage again in the future.

We loved Brett's place for a relaxing weekend away. So peaceful and beautiful. Thoughtfully constructed space with pretty views of Estuary Park. Exactly what we needed--thank you!

The Location was great for all we wanted to do. Everything was 10 minutes away. We ate at moose tooth and shopped at Diamond Mall. Walmart around the corner
