The Oaks

Leendert-JanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We’ve stayed 10 days in the Oaks cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and our 2 girls (5 & 7) loved the farm animals, and feeding-time in the mornings. The cottage is located in the middle of the countryside and the area is very quiet and serene. Kirsty and her husband are very hospitable hosts. We’ve had some unfortunate event during our stay and they assisted wherever they could. Had a fantastic stay at the Trecan Farm Cottages!

Spacious family holiday home with wonderful views

DaveRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This is a great place to stay for a large family or a group of friends who want to stay together. Plenty of light and airy spaces, two lounges, one equipped with PlayStation and large tv, the other is larger and spacious with large tv and comfy sofas. There is also a reading room with plenty of books and games. The place has tremendous views across the valley and feels private and isolated, even though there are houses on either side! The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious with bifold doors leading out onto the patio. This was wonderful with the sun out and a slight cooling breeze flowing through. One bedroom is en-suite with a large shower, there is a separate bathroom for everyone else, I didn’t like the shower over the bath, especially as the bath was not very wide. Showers were direct feed (not electric) and worked really well. There’s a laundry/boot room with everything you need. The beds are comfortable with Simba mattresses and cotton sheets. Great stay!

Gorgeous riverfront holiday cottage

JoRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A lovely little cottage by the sea and dog friendly. Walking the dogs along the shore line at low tide is about as good a way to start a day as you can get. The cottage was easy to get to and even though there is no parking at the house, there is plenty of space at the public slipway 1 minute along the shore. Had a wonderful stay and would definately re-visit.

The accomodation was lovely and a well equipped kitchen. There is a mandatory additional charge which then gives you access to a very good club house and leisure facilities

Delightful shepherds hut with Rustic piggery

Thaine PatrickRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Just arrived back from the most beautiful weekend away at the Vintage Pig. The place is pure bliss! It’s quiet, private with the most gorgeous views. The hut itself has everything you need and Julia is a fantastic host. We arrived to find a bottle of Prosecco and cream tea had been left along with snacks, soft drinks, tea and coffee which was a lovely touch. We were a little sad to leave but will not hesitate to book again….its a little peace of heaven!
