Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Dorsoduro, Venice

Absolute “white glove treatment” from Pamela! She met us at the train, only need to travel over 4 bridges (a mercy in Venice!) with large suitcases. She was even kind enough to help my elderly mother by carrying her lighter shoulder bag and walked slow to accommodate. As we walked, she gave us info on Venice at-large, but also local areas to the accommodation and the upcoming local San Martin holiday. The accommodation was nicest of all, and she showed us how it worked before leaving and letting us know she was only 10 minutes away if we had questions/needs. Only challenge: description is misleading, as we viewed pictures that showed 2 bedrooms and a living room; about a week ahead of check-in, Pamela informed us that one bedroom and the living space were the same space. We were already on holiday, so it was too late to re-book a space with much time that did not detract from our time already abroad (though she did suggest and allow when we realized—just too late for our travels).

So glad we came upon this property. We stayed in the self contained unit which was beautiful and private and fitted a family of 5 perfectly. We all had our own space to sleep. Lovely high ceilings with patio outside. Everything tastefully decorated. Marco was super friendly and fast to respond. Really appreciated use of the bikes and the kayaks. Had a fun day cycling along the canal and then kayaking. Also used the ping pong table!! Very easy to go to Venice by bus. Thank you again!!

A beautiful house, so cozy and modern at the same time located in a beautiful location right next to the canal, gave us an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the culture, the hosts were always responsive and friendly and very helpful in giving recommendations and available any time if i had any questions, would 100% recommend

The flat is fantastic, very authentic with antique furniture and detailed decoration. It’s even more impressive than in the images. It’s spacious, well equipped and welcome to explore it. The terrace is unique and well organized. Although it is very central the neighborhood is quiet. Francesca was very helpful every time I needed something. Will definitely visit again!

Thank you. For such a lovely stay in your house. It was truly fabulous. Everything that we needed was there, including condiments, coffee pods and dishwasher tablets. The communication with Irene was fabulous and she was there to welcome us. This was lovely because she showed us around the house. Irene, was available all the time and we even checks out slightly later, which was really helpful. We have been ti Venice many times and we thoroughly enjoyed staying in this area. It was so close to all the attractions but at night time it was so peaceful - which was great. The garden area was lovely and I sat outside each morning and had coffee. A great stay in Venice I thank you once again.

Highly recomended place. We had a great experience at Ariana's house, the apartment was clean and had all the amenities that were listed. She and her husband were supersupportive. I would love to go there again if I get a chance to visit italy again.

He made everything easier by showing me on a map where everything was located and how to get there. If he had not met me at the waterbus stop, I would have gotten lost. Extremely helpful host.

Nicole is a absolute gem. Total sweetheart! She met us at check in and showed us how to use waterbus transportation, gave us directions to her fav restaurants nearby and suggestions on fun stuff to do in Venice. Her place is so clean and cute. She had espresso, water, orange juice and champagne for us! Location is super close to water transportation. She also gave us access to her bikes which we rode to pick up food twice. Super quiet and away from crowds. We loved it.

It was difficult to do any better ! Communication was fast and messages were answered quickly. The water taxi was organised and things went smoothly. We were met in the designated location a short walk away from the apartment. No issues whatsoever. The apartment lived up to our expectations and to the photos. It was quiet and superbly located. We did almost everything on foot. We loved our experience and definitely recommend it.

Not only very tastefully decorated and comfortable this spacious apartment is convenient to San Zaccaria for water transport to nearby Murano and Piazzale Roma (bus station) Easy walking to ST Mark's Square. Very friendly affordable restaurants 2 minutes walk and small Italian bar close by to finish off any night out! The co-host Rita was available at all times! You won't want to leave this apartment and surrounding area.

I had a lovely stay in Venice. I had to unexpectedly travel on my own, but the clear communication, travel advice and great recommendations for good local restaurants from Andrea made my trip feel very easy and relaxed. The apartment is in a quiet location but very close to supermarkets and restaurants, and the trip into Venice from Mestre was very easy. The apartment itself is well laid out, with plenty of space and well-equipped. Andrea was a very friendly and thoughtful host. Would definitely recommend!

Paolo's place was ultra convenient for our stay to visit the Biennale. We arrived early, left our bags at his café, and found them later delivered to our apartment . We loved the deck and kitchen and especially how welcomed we felt by Paulo. An extra bonus was to take the nearby vaporetto directly to the airport. We would definitely return and recommend. We had 1 short stay at Cristina's apartment. Despite our 5 hours of flying rerard she waited for a host and guided us along the way for access. What a pleasure to arrive in this beautiful, quiet and cozy apartment. Everything is great and the terrace what a luxury! 10 min walk from San Marco Square. We'll be happy to go back. Gorgeous, comfortable, and spacious apartment in a historic building—every detail thought out. Soothing colors, beautiful draperies, lighting (!!), pink terrazzo floors (!!!), glass tile in bathroom, painted doors, large windows… every detail PERFECT. Comfy bed. Fantastic terrace off the kitchen, just right for al fresco dining—we enjoyed it in the cold, even! Very easy to get in—check-in was totally flexible. We were grateful for the restaurant recommendations, too!

Lovely little outside patio area, with the gondola singers passing by. Think we were also lucky enough to have occasional passengers with accordions or violins, too, - it was great to hear & look over to see them. Lucia's was just off the grand canal but tucked in a peaceful, secluded area, right next to a canal, .only about 1-2 minute easy walk to apartment from the boat stop. We had everything we needed at Lucia's & it was close to choice of restaurants & cafes. Gorgeous Torte of the day to be recommended at the red seated hotel café just round the corner next to the small cushion/furnishing shop! About 10 minute walk or so to loads of restaurants at San Marco square & so on, main Vaporetti stops to get you anywhere, including back to the airport, All good. From this location, we could pack in loads of visiting + also relax in our very short time in Venice. Wi -fi in the apartment excellent. Outside, while touring the signal loops in & out in places. We returned to stay at this apartment once again, and it was just as fantastic as we remembered! Since our last visit, the bathroom has been beautifully modernized, and it's now at an incredibly high standard – a great addition that we truly appreciated. The host was, once again, a pleasure to deal with. They were very responsive and went above and beyond to help us book a water taxi back to the airport. The convenience of departing from the private pier at the apartment made for a wonderful and memorable experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-maintained stay, with great service!

I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s truly a unique and authentic Venetian experience. We felt like royalty living in a palazzo. Amazing views from the rooftop, comfortable and spacious. What a great experience!

After many trips to Venice, this was our second time staying at Monica’s apartment, and we have never felt more relaxed and pampered! We love the location and the mattresses are so comfortable that we didn’t feel guilty napping each afternoon. Monica, Fernando, and Alessandro are top notch, amazing hosts. The views from the living area are simply magical, and the terrace is a lovely spot to relax and feel like a local! .We are so grateful that an apartment this beautiful is in Venice! Love the modern amenities and how tranquil Monica’s apartment is! Vacations should be relaxing, leave the stress at home.
