Vacation rentals with lake access in Dorchester County

The house was clean, spacious, and has a beautiful view from the windows and the expansive yard. Kim was an excellent communicator throughout.

Our family reunion had a wonderful stay at the lake house. The great room accommodated all of us easily for meals and the views of the lake was spectacular. The newly added large sofa sectional suited our big group. The bedrooms were varied enough to allow multiple sleeping arrangements. The foam mattresses were different for most of us, but they were very comfortable and everyone slept well on them. Walter was exceptional in his responses and when we had a problem with the hot water, he promptly sent a repair person to fix it. The kitchen was overall well outfitted, but the can opener was useless and needs immediate replacement. There were a few other things about our stay that were a little disappointing. The canoe and paddle boat were full of water and leaves, and the extra table and chairs on the patio were really dirty and needed cleaning before using. The house needs a good going through to fix up a myriad of little things. Overall, very enjoyable.

Wonderful stay! We had 10 people - 3 generations - and there was something for everyone. The kids (3 and 1) loved the playroom, swings and their adorable rooms. We went on Kayaks and spent a lot of time on the pier catching some fish and a few crabs as well. The yard is a perfect place to read in an Adirondack chair, watch for birds and cook smores. The kitchen is large and we were able to prepare most meals at the house. The screened-in outdoor porch is really nice - with a large dining table as well as comfy seating. The house has water views from most of the rooms. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was impeccably clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us nice and cool throughout our visit. The two private beach access points were fantastic and added so much value to our trip. The house is in a great location, Solomon Island was very close, and we enjoyed fishing and crabbing there. The driveway was a bit steep, but it was manageable and didn’t detract from our overall experience. The neighborhood was peaceful, providing a relaxing atmosphere for our family. Our children had a great time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

Not only was the place beautiful, but it was the perfect spot for myself and my colleagues to relax and have some time to rekindle. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

The house are clean, bright with a great view. We had a wonderful time and were lucky to have wonderful weather during our stay! We also had a lot of fun playing Mad Gab and other games in the games chest. We were successful in catching some fish and plenty of crabs. It was a great vacation. We enjoyed it very much.

This place is huge!! Very beautiful & verdant. Would highly recommend!

Spacious accommodations for the 7 of us.

Our second visit to Hannah’s place was every bit as good as the first. We had a wonderful week of rest and relaxation, and so did our dog! I could spend a week just sitting in the sunroom with a book and a steady supply of coffee!!!! The cottage is clean and comfortable, and it’s easy to get to a small beach nearby or to a nice overlook on the water. So much Maryland history is within an easy drive! Highly recommend this place!!!!

First of all. Thank you Leah for hosting us. You are a great host. I came here with my family to celebrate my birthday. Place was amazing and cozy. Got everything from condiments to firewood. Didn’t have to spend the money on those things. Live the fireplace, tub.Love the place and love to comeback in spring. Leah went above and beyond on service. Very communicative. She got us firewood early in morning for fireplace. She got me bday gift , also gifted my mother a plant. This is the best place I have ever been to. Love each and every moment here

We had a wonderful time at this amazing, peaceful farmhouse and property. It is truly a special place. Danial was absolutely great at helping us out when we ran into a small hiccup as you sometimes do at older properties. He was extremely responsive, helpful, and accommodating and we truly appreciated. The fully-fenced in front yard area (I can't remember if that was included in the listing, but it was great1) was a huge bonus for our dogs. This is a wonderful spot for a pet friendly weekend.

Natalie’s place was very nice. Clean, well stocked inside and out, and and an excellent waterfront location. Would love to come back when the weather is warmer and we can get out on the water.

KJ we had an amazing time swimming, kayaking, fishing and crabbing!! We had a lovely dinner, kj had a large crab pot to cook the large bounty of crabs we caught. Was such a great and peaceful vacation. The house was pristine, loved drinking my coffee on the pouch and had a great time at night watching shooting stars by the campfire.

Great spot! Cozy house, gorgeous view of the woods and the bay, plus the hot tube area feels very private because of how the deck is positioned. You can soak and just look at the woods and the bay beyond. Cute private beach with all sorts of little shells and such to look at. I think we’ll be back!
