Vacation rentals with beach access in Dorchester County

Larry was a fantastic host. He was flexible with our check-in given that we arrived several hours later than planned due to traffic. He went through the entire apartment with us and offered great recommendations for dinner. Larry was responsive to all requests/questions—a definite return location.

We had a winter visit and despite it being freezing outside the house was nice and toasty and we appreciated the fast hot water for showering. No fenced yard for our dog but it's a nice area to walk around. Central location, close to restaurants. Would stay again.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great communication from owner. House was clean. Proximity to the ocean was fantastic. Great views and we really enjoyed shark tooth hunting. As stated in the listing, trash had to be taken to a nearby facility. Very easy (and free) process. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

Kristin's home was the perfect setting for a peaceful family Christmas! It was a great size for my family (11 adults and 2 kids) to stay comfortably. The kitchen is set up nicely for large groups with 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers and 2 fridges. We spent most of our time relaxing in the large dining and sitting areas as well as enjoying bird watching from the backyard (bald eagles!). Kristin is extremely responsive -- even immediately responding to and helping to fix a plumbing issue (on Christmas Eve!). Would highly recommend this place for your next summer or winter getaway!

Five Family members stayed Christmas week in the rental. They loved being together when they weren’t at our Oxford home. The 3 bedroom house was comfortable, clean and convenient. Thumbs up.

Second time staying here and you can’t beat the location. If you love being on the water and are looking for a nice escape, this is your place. Colin is a great host too. Highly recommend to everyone !

The Riverhouse exceeded our expectations and deserved the 5 or more rating! The place was immaculate, had a gorgeous river view, and the hosts were extremely accommodating and responsive! Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Patrick’s place! It had everything we needed for a long weekend on the shore. A very comfortable home. Patrick was extremely responsive and helpful, with easy check in and check out. The kitchen was particularly lovely and well appointed! The house number is a little small so keep an eye out. A beautiful home on a stunning lot. It feels like being in a tree house!! The kids (and adults) loved playing at the private beach. We kayaked right from there to a nearby beach to look for shark teeth (found plenty!) Calvert cliffs and similarly beautiful beaches/hikes are a quick drive and absolutely worth it. also loved the local public pool. Would highly recommend!

Our family's stay at Dana's Bayfront Beach house was absolutely lovely. The house was spacious and looked exactly like the photos with breathtaking views from every room. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the sunrise over the bay in the mornings and the moon rising over a sky full of stars at night. We also enjoyed watching the wildlife. There were Osprey, Jellyfish, crabs, herons and gulls that we could watch from the pier. The kitchen was large and well appointed with pots and pans, dishes and cutlery and we particularly loved the Ninja toaster oven and Keurig coffee maker. We found the beds comfortable and appreciated the AC and ceiling fans which kept us cool even during a very warm and humid week! Thanks Dana! We hope to come back again soon!
