Waterfront vacation rentals in Domus de Maria

The apartment was perfect for what we were looking for. Location There is very good resturants and cafes in the block and a great little mini mart. it's a short walk into Cagliari centre, Marina, bus stop to go Poetto and a 10 minute walk from the train station. Apartment the apartment was very clean and larger than we anticipated, the master bedroom has two lovely double doors which open up for air flow. Each room had air-conditioning and there was a functioning kitchen and washing machine. Hosts Max and Davide were very friendly and informative of the local area and provided multiple recommendations. They allowed me some flexibility with times and only requested we communicate with them about any issues. As a conclusion, I re-booked this apartment for next year and I am trying to convince my friends to rent the neighbouring apartment hosted by Max and Davide. We had a wonderful time with Taty and Luca. The two are great hosts, were always easily accessible and very accommodating. The apartment is like in the Listing described and the view of the sea is simply fantastic. We felt right at home. The entire property is very well equipped - especially in the kitchen there is nothing missing and you can cook wonderfully. The sea is a minute walk. We will be happy to come back and can only recommend the apartment, as well as Taty and Luca as a host. :)

We had a fabulous time, both beaches with private access a stone's throw away were beautiful and each offered a different feel. One more sheltered, the other sandier; both with beautifully clear turqoise waters! There were enough restaurants, shops and stalls close by and we enjoyed drives a little further afield to find other beaches and places to eat and shop. The apartment terrace was nicely enclosed, perfect for a toddler. Great to have access to a garden and a bbq below. The apartment had everything you need, always nice to have a dishwasher and washing machine for longer stays. Enrico kindly provided a cot. If I was to provide any suggestion, it would be to upgrade the beds, however this didn't detract from what was a very comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable first holiday in Sardinia! We look forward to coming back in the future! Our tips for others would be to book tables well ahead at the local restaurants to avoid missing out and bring a paddleboard!

This was a business trip for us and the venue was comfortable and clean. Our hosts were responsive to enquiries. We hadn’t remembered the additional charge for use of the 2nd bedroom and that we needed to pay cash. It was difficult to find an ATM with cash

From Massimo’s apartment on the Piazza Carmine it’s only a short walk up to the city’s walled quarter with its museums and breathtaking city view, an easy walk in any direction to your choice of bars, cafes and restaurants, or a long but pleasant walk to see the flamingos in the lagoon. You can sit outdoors on the balcony and take it all in or close the shutters and enjoy the quiet and comfort of Massimo’s well-equipped spacious apartment. The elevator in the beautifully restored building is a definite plus during arrival and departure with suitcases. The nearby train station, bus stops, and taxi stand make getting around easy. Massimo was very helpful during check-in and check-out and always quick to respond to any messages. A perfect spot for our week in Cagliari!

We had a wonderful stay in Sant’Antioco. The apartment is perfect for two people, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable visit. Francesco is a kind and attentive host, making the experience even more enjoyable. We would definitely book this apartment again!

Quiet and fantastically located house near the beach. Very clean and lovingly furnished. Very fast and friendly contact. Fantastic to have a good time in the south of Sardinia.

We had a great rest in this apartment. The view was great. All the tips (restaurants, supermarkets, local food) from Giorgio were the hit. I started the day with a jog. Villasimius consists of many districts, so you could put together different routes after a short time. For this, the washing machine was a practical helper. So the clothes were fresh again for the next run. We thank Carola and Giorgio, who set the stage for a great quiet holiday, which were lined with insanely beautiful sunsets and once with dolphins in the bay. The only thing we would do differently would be traveling by car. Our Vito just fit into the parking bay.

We felt really at home and welcomed at Cynthia's place. The apartment has so much character and pretty details, which made it a lot nicer than other holiday lets or airbnbs. Cynthia was kind and helpful and we enjoyed the beautiful location, so near the village's port and coastline.

We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt comfortable in this little paradise. The house has a large and well furnished kitchen-living room, a bedroom and a smaller room, as well as a small bathroom. Everything very clean and functional, but not so beneficial for people over 180 cm. The location right on the beach and so close to the water is priceless. Fall asleep to the sound of the sea and wake up, swim, snorkel, walk along the beach for hours, this is pure vacation. There is also a lot to explore in the area, as well as great restaurants, good shopping, everything great. But our highlight was certainly visiting the dolphins on the first day while we enjoyed our aperitifs on the veranda, two animals rummaged in the bay, indescribable. We were there at the end of the season, the bars/cafes on the beach were already closed, people hardly had it anymore. Completely happy we have returned home. THANKS Valentina and Enzo!

Perfect place for a young family with loads of seating and very well equipped for eating in. Enrico was extremely helpful and responsive. The beach is easily walkable and has a nice beach bar, and plenty of other beaches a short drive away. Perfect for a relaxing low key family holiday.

We loved staying here as a family. The hosts were so helpful and friendly even loaning a fishing rod. Their advice was great! The house was great and had everything we needed. We liked that there were 2 bathrooms. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay with stunning views & wonderful hosts. Our tips for people staying: You need a car to get around but do get an SUV as the roads around are full of holes so it was easier compared to a normal car. If you stay in the back bedroom and like to get up past 7am or sleep in the afternoons take ear plugs. The neighbour has loud conversations on his telephone & you can hear it all & their shower etc If you are a light sleeper you will need this or use the 2 front bedrooms. Make sure you watch the sunset. It’s beautiful The recycling takes a bit to work out what is where if you don’t speak Italian but use a translator app and take a picture and it translates it for you

House where we left the heart, it was like being at home, equipped with every comfort, furnished with love and really equipped with everything, even hot plate x hair phoon and everything you need x the kitchen, oil, salt,etc... the coffee machine with pods, and accessories x the sea ( umbrellas for those who did not have it and games x children) house near the center about a 10-minute walk( but we always moved in the car) but away from the chaos, reserved parking inside the garage is very comfortable because around the parking lots are impossible. The house is beautiful with 3 bathrooms, very comfortable, both in the garage and in the bedroom. Impeccable cleanliness. Davide and Alexia, very kind people welcomed us warmly, making us even find drinks in the fridge and welcome sweets. Always available I highly recommend this house to those who want to stay in this area. I challenge you to find better.

The apartment is equipped and very clean in a very quiet area.. we needed a quiet and relaxing place to spend the holidays and we found it.. in the evening sleeping with the sound of the sea that is attached to the house, we liked it very well.. great experience.. Tony and Eugenia are very kind but not intrusive.. recommended..

You could keep searching for the perfect place but there will not be a better and more beautiful place than Daniela’s apartment in the whole Sardinia. This was my second time at Daniela’s place and like the first time, my staying was magic and unforgettable. The view from the apartment is stunning and will leave you breathless. The apartment has everything you need and is spotless clean. Daniela is lovely and will welcome you with her kindness.

Great apartment for families or couples of friends: 3 rooms, two bathrooms. Clean apartment with parking. Useful for those who want to use Cagliari as a base and then visit the surroundings. Very pleasant stay. Accurate and punctual host in his responses.

as now every year we spent a weekend on the island and this year we chose Domenico's accommodation, we had a very good time: a very central area from which you can walk to every area of the country, simple check-in and check-out and to be done independently. super cozy structure equipped with everything you need. Highly recommended.

Very nice hosts. We were in touch 24/7. We shared our guidebook where to go / what to see. Ready to help with anything you need? They respond within 5 minutes. The apartment is clean, new. There is everything you need, and even a small coffee machine with capsules ))) I was a little surprised by the frying pan when they fried scrambled eggs , it heated for a very long time)) Probably not quite suitable for this stove, but it's small things. We thought it was not in the center, but the location is good. We walked everywhere in 5-20 minutes to any part of the city center. On the last day, we needed to leave much later than the eviction time, the hosts allowed us without any problems. We worked from the apartment, the internet was good. The smart TV was also a plus.

We loved staying in this apartment, it was nice and clean, had a giant window, air conditioning. Several coffee shops close by. Easy to get on bus to go downtown. Apartment just 1 block off beautiful beach
