The house is well situated nearby the center of Rivedoux village, close by to the bridge . The house is located in the border of the forest in a quiet neighborhood. The house is bright despite the low ceiling in the “retais” style. The fire place room was the favorite meeting place for board games, homework and late night discussions. With lot of corners and an elongated floor plan, everybody could find a private area to retreat. We had a really good winter holiday at Elisabeth and Dominque house. Thank you

Serge is a responsive, proactive, attentive and available host whose recommendations are wise and accurate. The cottage "Écureuil" is in excellent condition, perfectly equipped and tastefully furnished. The grounds are large, shaded, very well maintained, each of the cottages having its independence and the opposite are not at all inconvenient. The outdoor furniture is fine, as well as outdoor games for children. The pool is warm, very well maintained, as well as the hot tub. A great place to (re)pose with the family.

We spent 4 (including 2 children) a great summer stay in Farah's very pretty house. The hot tub break from the moment you arrive is ideal! The house is carefully furnished and decorated and is very well equipped. It has to be a good place to live year-round! The neighborhood is extremely quiet and quite close by car to La Rochelle and Ile de Ré. Farah was really welcoming, available and concerned about the well-being of her guests, a pleasure!

Kevin was very responsive and helpful with questions. He greeted us and showed us how everything worked. He was very friendly. It was a very comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room on the very large sofa for our family. The pool was beautiful and bigger than it looked on the photo. There was a safe hard pool cover which was good for children. The showers were very good quality. It was very spacious place to stay with walk in wardrobe and view of pool from main bedroom. Good amount of shade outside with big umbrella over table and outside awning. Outside area with pizza oven was nice extra. Kitchen was high quality. Very short walk to supermarket was convenient. Felt safe to cycle with children right from property. Property felt private and not overlooked at all. Could hear the sea at night and so many stars. Was nicely decorated but not personal so felt at home right away.

We strongly recommend this little nest to rest. Feel a bit like home, it's sober and relaxing. Have a strong invitation to spend a few days there, personally I would go back!

A pleasant stay in a lovely living space. François is friendly and available. La Rochelle "center" is easily accessible on foot from the accommodation but it is a 20-minute walk. The neighborhood is quiet and has local shops. Recommended if this fits your needs.

The shops and the Cheray market are all a 5-10min walk, and very beautiful beaches easily accessible by bike nearby. Beautiful Villa in a remote part of France. Very friendly neighbours and very good little town with a local butcher and Tabac for a beer or coffee. Easy routes to La Rochelle and Green Venice for example. The Villa was very spacious and well fenced.

We had a fabulous week in Virson. The house and garden are beautiful and an ideal location for a relaxing break. We loved the friendly chickens on site too! The house is well equipped and had everything we needed for the week. Great location in the quiet countryside. The house Is just half an hour drive away from beautiful La Rochelle and there are lots of supermarkets and amenities a short drive away. Alexandre is super helpful and quick to respond to messages. This was our first time using Airbnb and the experience was really positive. Highly recommended!

We stayed in Benjamin's house for 6 days. Communication was very smooth. The jacuzzi was an absolute plus. We had a very enjoyable stay, close to La Rochelle. Everything was present and the house was very cozily furnished. We would definitely recommend this stay.
