We loved our time at Casa Thai! The view and house are exactly as pictured. The pool was especially great for us with a baby and toddler since it was a whole very shallow section (also good for lounging and reading IN the pool). While we didn’t see other wildlife, there were so many amazing bird sighting and sounds. The indoor/outdoor shower experience was my favourite part of the place - stunning views and felt so luxurious. AC in the bedrooms worked great. Okay, yes, the driveway is very steep. But they had just maintained the road and it was totally fine. Once you do it once and get over the thrill of it, it was more fun than anything else. The 4X4 does all the work and doesn’t need an especially skilled driver. Not a reason not to book at all! The host is so responsive and helpful. As good as you can hope for in an Airbnb experience. Walk to Whale's Tail Beach. Lush property w/ Pool.

We stayed 10 nights at Sasha's place and had a lovely time. It is around a 10 -15 minute walk from the whale's tail but we drove because of the heat. We didn't meet Sasha and her family because she was away but she communicated well and always responded quickly. Also, Tony who lives there too was very helpful and friendly. The apartment is even nicer than it looks in the photos. It is tastefullly furnished, and the beds were very comfortable, it's spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning was good. We really enjoyed spending time in the pool. It's not huge but bigger than it looks in the photos. The garden is lovely and very well kept with lots of flowers. We spotted scarlet macaws, parrots and lots of other birds in the trees nearby. I'm not a dog lover but the dogs were really sweet and no trouble at all. They were very friendly but settled quickly after saying hello. I'd certainly like to stay again when we return to Uvita.

Panoramic Ocean Views & Pool - Villas Azul #2A

We recently stayed at Villa Azul at the end of December for 4 nights. The location was great and close to town, yet very quite and peaceful. The access to the private beach was wonderful and a luxury for sure! it was a 5 min walk from our room! the views from the villa was amazing. We saw capuchin monkeys from our deck and scarlet macaws from the pool snacking on almonds. Amazing! This is completely on me as I did not see the floor plan closely enough in the listing, but I didn't realize that the two bedrooms don't have an interior connection. This was slightly inconvenient for us travelling with young children, but we made it work! just a heads up in case it helps anyone. Also, the interior could use some minor maintenance but nothing that prevented us from having an enjoyable stay! Pablo, the groundskeeper, and the cleaning lady were nice, and we appreciated the laundry service. Thanks to David and his team for making our stay memorable!

Sarah and her partner were extremely friendly and always responded very quickly and they had very good tips for things to do and restaurants for us. This was by far our favorite Airbnb stay while we were visiting Costa Rica. The view alone makes it worth it! Private, quiet, comfortable, and the pool is so nice to have. The driveway was a little intimidating the first time we came up, but it’s not a big deal once you know where you are going. I would absolutely stay here again.

Our family had a very peaceful stay. We enjoyed the pool in the early morning and evening. Very clean home. We appreciated the laundry option and dishwasher. The road up is very steep and would not recommend it at night. We saw toucans, parakeets and the howler monkeys (6) were in the big tree next to the house in the early evening. Bring insect repellant as you are in nature. Shower pressure and heat excellent. Very comfy beds. View of the ocean and mountains incredible as well as bedroom views. The kids swam at dominicolita beach which had huge waves- the Dominica beach was red flag and lifeguard only recommended going in to your knees.

Absolutely stunning ! Christian was great right from the start! Super friendly and accommodating ! he helped us as we had quite an adventure with the rental car… he got us some food since we came super late and tired. As for the house it was hard to leave as we felt right at home ! This place is a gem! We felt like we had our own peace of heaven ! Hight on the mountain we had the most magical views and the whole property is so stunning ! The gardens around are just wow. A few min walk and you have a fitness room and a tennis court perched on top of the mountain. The house itself was greatly done since it’s all on one level which is great for a family with kids. Everyone had wall to wall windows with magical views. Kitchen is completely functional and we even have an outside bbq for great outside experience. We are back home missing it already ! Thank you Christian for the most unique experience yet in Costa Rica! Planning our next stay soon!

I stayed with my family for several nights and we had an incredible stay, we were very comfortable in every way, the house is just as described, with extremely comfortable spaces and impeccable cleanliness, it is very close to places such as restaurants, pharmacies, banks, supermarkets but at the same time it maintains that privacy that is usually sought when renting, as for Jaime at all times from the first contact he was very attentive, always willing to provide recommendations and listen to some requests we had, I definitely recommend the place and I would definitely stay again.
