Perfect for a weekend getaway with family and pets !

This cabin was such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a long weekend. The home was very clean and provided all the basics we needed to have a stress-free stay. The property was secluded, but not too secluded so that we could visit the neighboring towns easily and find lots of things to do outdoors as well! This place provides a great base camp for any adventuring you would want to do in the area!

The place looked just like the pictures. The location was great as well as the start up amenities. Definitely need 4x4 if there is bad weather, luckily we did not have any.

We recently stayed at this beautiful Airbnb in Shenandoah with stunning mountain views, and it was a perfect getaway for our family. The house was spotless, well-equipped, did not have access to washer / dryer, and comfortably accommodated all of us. The highlight was sitting in the sun room, enjoying the serene mountain scenery. The location was good and bit of a hike from the main road on a bumpy road—close to hiking trails and local attractions, yet peaceful and secluded. The host was attentive and provided clear instructions, making the stay seamless. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature!

A beautiful place where you can get away from the city, but without leaving the comforts that are needed . This’s a house in the mountains so you can enjoy the surrounding trees and nature very peaceful . It was our first time, trying to have a family trip between my sister and I with our little ones . In total there we were eight of us and we managed to accommodate ourselves perfectly well. The beds were comfortable. We had to cook for our dinner and breakfast and also the kitchen has everything we needed. Unfortunately, it was a very cold night and we could not use the hot tub. Everything else was great.

Cozy Bear Cottage is exactly as described. It is a very peaceful and out-of-the-way mountain location. So quiet! We had 5 related adults and there was plenty of space for us to all feel comfortable, yet the family room and kitchen table allowed us all to be together for family time. Very nice full kitchen for meals. We enjoyed eating in and just hanging out in the evenings. Firepit was fun! 10 - 15 min drive to Caverns or downtown Luray with cute shops. 30 minutes to hiking in SNP. If you're looking for a private escape, but with some activities in the area - this is a great option. Thanks!

This spot was so great and cozy for our Christmas week vacation. The gas fireplace is a plus since we love having the fire going. The hot tub was running and very clean, we enjoyed having it available to us. Twice we saw deer in the yard which was of course a highlight for our kids. This house has a well stocked kitchen and plenty of linens/blankets to get us through the week. Thank you Paula!

Perfect location, and so cozy for a winter hiking trip to Shenandoah national Park. We appreciated the wood burning stove, fully stocked kitchen, and game room in the basement. The property itself is located on a beautiful lot that is private and serene. It was easily accessible from a sedan vehicle despite some light snow and gravel road. The hot tub was in great condition and clean. Easy access to Skyline drive 30 minutes away. Lots of cute towns in the surrounding areas including New Market, Harrisonburg, and Strasburg. Plenty to do in these towns and in between, including breweries, wineries, antiques and thrift stores. Plenty of grocery store options nearby with reasonable prices for cooking in a fully stocked kitchen. Overall we would recommend this property!

The cabin was clean and well decorated, including a surprise Christmas tree in the living room (we stayed between Christmas and New Year's). Jan was very communicative and provided directions ahead of time for check-in and using the hot tub. It suited our family of 4 + dogs well, felt peaceful, and was within 10-15 minutes of most attractions in the area. Highly recommend! - Lisa & Wayne

This house is incredible. The location on the mountain is so peaceful and exactly what my family was looking for to escape reality and enjoy each other for a few days. Went on several walks on the mountain (sunrise and sunsets are wonderful) and the lake Laura hiking trail across the street was very fun and easy for the kids. We were here in the winter and will definitely be coming back for the other seasons to enjoy the coziness of the cabin (with the insane views/large windows) but also the strong desire it gives you to be outside on the decks/front fire pit. We will 100% be staying here again. Thank you!!!!!

Kate and Erek's cabin is beautiful, cozy, super comfortable, and located at a priceless location in an almost hidden cul-de-sac in the middle of the forest. Perfect for a quiet few days of reading, fireplace, and running/hiking. Will certainly return if I can!

It's a cozy little cabin, intimate, well-furnished and stocked with appliances, pots, pans and cutlery, cleaning supplies condiments and a few snack bars and popcorn. Nice fire pit area (couldn't use because a burn ban was in effect) and a wood stove with a bundle of fire wood in the holder next to the stove for our use. WiFi is easy to connect to and we were able to connect our services to the TV.

It's not easy traveling with two kids and two dogs but this location allowed us to do that. Wife and I are extremely grateful that this location allowed us bring our furry kids with us on our adventure. The yard is super spacious and allowed my dogs ro run freely. Location is near the beautiful river and it's secluded from high traffic areas. I recommend it to anyone that's wanting to travel with kids and dogs. Thank you for making our New Years Trip memorable!

I very much enjoyed my stay here while visiting Virginia. The location was very peaceful with its surrounding areas and views. The host (Su) was very responsive and friendly as well, they made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay. Would stay here again in the future.

We were drawn to this place from the beautiful photos of the listing and its central location to outdoor activities in the region. We’d planned to go hike at one of the local state parks, but once we got to the house and experienced the tranquility, plethora of trails, and views right there on Max’s property, we actually never left! We will definitely be back!!

Pansy and Ronny we'regreat hosts. I arrived later than originally planned but they were kind to accommodate the change in timing and still bring me from the base to the cabin since my car might not have made it on its own. The cabin has everything you would need. If anything, I think the listing actually under sells what it offers. Pansy had it stocked with tissues, hand sanitizer, basic seasonings, cooking equipment and utensils, and even had a pack of muffins waiting for me. Even though I was there during 20° weather and a snowstorm, the heater kept me sufficiently warm. It was a great, relaxing two-night stay and I would love to return if I am in the area in the future.

The place was nice and quiet. For someone looking to camp out, but without the tent experience, it was perfect.

Great cabin in the woods! Loved the hot tub while being under the trees and snowflakes in the air. Super safe and very quiet neighborhood. Lots of dog walks and easy drive into town or up to hiking trails! Cabin was neat, tidy, and had absolutely everything we needed for a long weekend away!
