Cabin vacation rentals in Dolly Sods Wilderness

This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin. I like that it is in between town and the resorts and really appreciate that it is pet friendly. We enjoyed the view of the valley from the cabin, the fireplace and hot tub too.

Beautiful home in nature!! We loved staying here. The home is immaculate, bright, modern, and spacious. We loved the hot tub, and we aren't big gamers but had a lot of fun in the Game shack playing Ping Pong, Pacman, and Basketball. Highly recommend!!! The only thing to be aware of is that this is quite a distance to the hikes in Shenandoah National Park, so if you're focus is on the Park, I would suggest looking at Maps to understand the roads and distances.

I can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the Super hosts that made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable!! We drove 14hrs to stay here and when we parked and stepped out on the property you can hear the soothing sound of the running stream surrounding the property, they had the hot tub turned on and every bit of this place was spotless and cozy!! They did not leave anything out. First time I’ve ever rated an air bnb stay but this place was well deserving of praise.

Overall this is a great place to stay with your family for a good adventure. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating to your needs. There is everything you could possibly need at this property to make your vacation worthwhile!

My girlfriend and I spent our Valentine’s Day weekend at this location. The cabin had extremely beautiful views and was very peaceful! A fantastic getaway vacation in the Shenandoah mountains. Ray was very accommodating and responsive to ensure we had a great stay.

Great stay at Lindsey’s cabin - it’s super cute, with a well stocked kitchen and lovely porch. Lindsey was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed.

It was a wonderful cabin for a peaceful weekend getaway. The views were excellent, and it was warm and cozy inside even during some especially cold weather.

The Shed was the perfect place to relax and recharge for my family's annual end of year/new year's trip. The house was clean. The main living area was wonderful to unwind and spend quality time. We enjoyed the wood burning stove and the firepit outside. The property was beautiful and especially exciting for our 4 year old and our dog. The location was terrific for our trip to Shenandoah. We also had a great time at Luray Caverns. A pleasant surprise was the walking path through town. We made use of it two of our days. Front Porch coffee was also a convenient frequent spot we visited. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Bobby's place! The home was beautiful, cozy, and well-maintained, providing the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. Bobby was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His hospitality truly made our stay extra special. It was the absolute perfect weekend escape, and we can’t wait to come back! :)

we loved our stay here! The house was a cozy, with plenty of space for us and our two kids. The board games were a hit! Location was perfect- easy 10 minutes to Timberline, 5 minutes to Davis. Laura was a great host- super responsive and even quickly took care of mailing us something we left behind! we'll definitely stay here again

Best cabin ever! My 14 year old daughter, husband, my 2 Husky’s and 1 hound, spent a Friday to Monday at this stunning cabin. This was a birthday weekend away, for both of us. We went to parks and hiked different places. We also went to Virginia for the day and took in some sites there. The wood-stove made the cabin so cozy and comfortable. The cabin is beautifully decorated and so clean, packed with everything you need. Comfortable beds with beautiful views. Bonus hot-tub was so awesome. Our dogs had just as much fun as us. Dog toys, treats and dog lines, to explore the back yard. Windows for watching wildlife and warm fire to sleep near. Highly recommended this stunning place. Family friendly, pet friendly. My whole family had such a blast, human and furry members. Definitely will be back. We woke up Saturday morning with a beautiful dusting of snow, was so magical, telling my friends and family about this magical place.

We had an amazing stay, it's a very well equipped cabin, in an amazing, beautiful and very quiet place, exactly the kind of retreat we were looking for. Great mountais view. The nearby town is also very quiet and receptive, where it's easy to buy food and supplies. Su and her husband are amazing people and always willing to help. I can't wait to go back.

Cathy was a wonderful host! She provided a bottle of local wine during our stay. She was consistently responsive and friendly in our communications. The place was so cozy would highly recommend!

The shed/tiny home is spotless, well decorated, quality craftmanship and new stylish decor. The bed is comfortable and the sheets, linens are good quality. The cabin is remote and private. You definitely need 4 wheel drive if the weather is bad. There is a walk from the parking space to the front door. As long as you know it is a tiny home you won't be disappointed. Could not have been cleaner and the kitchen is well stocked. The quality of work on the interior of the shed is exceptional. Definitely an excellent carpenter, attention to detail. Large windows to appreciate the peaceful, private surroundings while you are lying in bed but definitely a small space.

We really enjoyed the cozy cottage. The surrandings were beautiful. The hot tub was a great addition. Nice size and very clean. The cottage is a great place for a family get away. I will return. Thankyou so much for wverything.

Pansy was so friendly and her property is amazing! This is just the stay my friend and I were looking for - picturesque, quiet, remote, and off grid. I truly felt unplugged! The wind was wild and we watched some snow fall but we stayed toasty inside the cabin! As someone that drives back roads often, the road up to the cabin was fine in my AWD SUV. The place was nice and quiet. For someone looking to camp out, but without the tent experience, it was perfect.

We were looking for a cozy long weekend off the grid and that’s exactly what we got. The cabin was rustic but well maintained and the location remote but within arms length of civilization. Jennifer and Ian were incredibly responsive. Highly recommend — and grab firewood/fresh eggs from them if you can!
