House vacation rentals in Dolgellau

The accommodation, location and facilities were perfect for a special birthday weekend for a party of 13... The house easily accommodated everyone, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was a superb focal point for a weekend of celebration and having access to multiple fridges was ideal. Outside, the natural pool was fabulous, as was the sauna, patio area and garden.. There are lovely walks from the house and a great local pub within reach. Very helpful neighbours on hand, if needed. Tim was an excellent host and this is a perfect setting for a special occasion.

Such a lovely place to set up base camp for the amazing walks that surround it. Ceinwen and Jeremy had even decorated it for Christmas with a real Christmas tree and lots of lovely fairy lights inside and out. Photos do not do this beautiful home justice. We recently enjoyed a fantastic 4 nights family reunion, and we couldn’t be happier. Doreen was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. The property is very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. We were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen and pantry fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, and glasses. One of the highlights was the amazing fire pit, beautifully surrounded by trees and lights, creating a magical ambiance at night. Doreen always refilled wood for cozy fires each evening. We also loved the swimming pool with its clean water and perfect temperature, and the hot tub provided a relaxing retreat after a day of fun. Overall, our experience was great, We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you again, Doreen and Peter, for being such great hosts and making our stay so memorable!

Place was amazing. Location of caravan was best. Easily spotted. So thoughtful host. Internet connection was weak but lot of DVDs for kids. Many toys. Amazingly spare batteries were available too. Nearby amenities. Beach and town centre in walking distance. Weather got bad. So much rain and wind with power cut and no mobile signal for whole of the town that kind of made the stay little not well but other that our family enjoyed well. Would prefer to come to Aber in Summer and would love to stay here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was very peaceful and the surroundings beautiful. The lodge was nice, light and spacious. Only thing to be mindful of is that you do need to take your own bath towels and kitchen towels.

Great location for accessing other local areas, lovely park and a great position of the caravan if you have kids as you can see the playground and the playing field is right out front. The caravan is exactly as described and there was plenty of space for the 4 of us. Gemma and her husband are lovely and friendly and helped with anything we needed. Great 4 night stay for us!

Had a lovely few days here celebrating New Year with our family of 7 adults. There was plenty of space, kitchen was really well equipped and the lovely big table meant we could all eat together. The house was spotless and the big screen in the living room was very popular. Views across to Anglesey were beautiful and we even managed the short, but steep, stroll to the pub on the front. We would love to return again in a warmer season to enjoy the balconies and bbq too!

We had a fantastic stay. It is wonderful house in a central location. It was comfortable and cosy, had a fully equipped kitchen with every item you could wish for, sometimes multiple, great for cooking and enjoying a night in. It was warm and safe with plenty of hot water, ideal for our autumnal coastal walking weekend. The property is so interesting, it’s full of antique curiosities, family memorabilia, and cultural souvenirs. Parked my car nearby on street, no hassle, perfectly safe and free. Thank you Barnaby.

Our first Air B&B stay and I already think we’ve been spoilt by The House That Jack Built. Perfect location on the edge of the town and walkable to all the beautiful sights. Karen was amazing and sooo helpful with places to visit including the fact we were taking the dogs. Perfect host

Mary was really responsive and went out of her way to help. House was incredibly spacious (and pink😁) and allowed everyone to have their own private space, but with large communal areas for socialising (kitchen/living areas and gardens.) Kitchen was really well-equipped. Super stay and would definitely come back. Thank you!

Very beautiful stay

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Esther's special place by the sea. A great location providing the real luxury of being able to lay in bed and see the waves crash onto the beach! The house was lovely and warm and comfortable and everything you needed for a great stay. Esther is a lovely host and was very responsive and helpful - she took the time to message us and check everything was going okay. I am sure we will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was spotless and amazing for our party (4 adults, 4 children) The house was really well equipped, with lots of toys for the children to play with, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and so much more. The garden was beautiful and outdoor seating was a great extra to have. A very short drive to beautiful beaches and lovely coastal walks. We had two 4 year olds and 2 babies and the house was brilliant for them, lots of room to roam around, and lots of fun activities in the area. We met the host when we arrived and he was very friendly and helpful. Sarah was great at getting back to us and very helpfully allowed us an early check-in. All in all a 10 out of 10 stay and no faults what so ever! We will definitely be returning!

Nestled in the heart of Beddgelert, quality pub literally 5mins walk, with good food, selection of beers etc Really grateful our three well behaved dogs could stop there, they didn't budge from the big fire we had going every day. Nicely laid out cottage feel, with rear garden for the dogs to sniff around, although one had a roll in lovely deer poo, as rear backs out to woods. Some great board games for us to play at the big table, phones away time! Loved it this time of year, cold and wintery but bet its stunning in summer as rear garden in elevated.

We were family of three adults stayed for three nights at Awen’s place. It was a lovely two bed room house well suited for our needs. The house located in a quiet street , supermarkets , pub, high street only 5 mins by drive. We had a lovely time exploring North Wales from Awen’s place and we felt like being at our own place. Ruthin a lovely town. I will definitely stay at Awen’s place again.

lovely cosy house. very well equipped with everything you could possibly want. Great area to explore. Easy to find off main road with easy lock box. lovely outlook at the back with views of hills and lots of beautiful birds on the feeders. Definitely recommend. Great communication from host

This is the second time me and my partner stayed. It was lovely coming back and having just as a wonderful time as we did the first. Jennifer was very accommodating and quick to respond when questions were asked or requests made. Nothing negative to say other than thank you. It snowed this time around and it was very pretty.

Bedrooms were a great size, comfortable beds, gorgeous bathroom and good layout for accommodating the dogs too! The hot tub was an added bonus after a day of walking and exploring. Really helpful host with suggestions of places to visit, in addition to eateries and closest shops.

This is a really characterful cottage with lovely old features. we loved the tongue and groove wood finish in the hallway and lounge. Notice board helpful too for places to eat or order a takeaway. It was very spacious and had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Log cabin was amazing and we enjoyed playing a game of darts too with the dartboard. bus route fantastic too from and to Portmadoc for steam train and Portmeirion.. train connections at Penrhyndeudraeth to the beaches and harlech with views across the sea on one side and mountains on the other view. its a spectacular area with dramatic scenery all around. thanks for a great stay. Very comfortable

Just back from a wonderful few days in Llanbedrog .Accommodation exactly what we wanted. Perfect for 2 and a dog. Near the beach,pub and local shop as well as some good walks. A good base to explore the area. Jean was very welcoming and friendly and on hand to give help and advise if needed.
