Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Dogtown

We had a wonderful stay at The Little House! The fenced-in yard was perfect for my two pets—it made things so much easier and gave them space to enjoy safely. The location was super convenient and close to lots of great spots we visited during our trip. Inside, the kitchen, bathroom, and upstairs bedroom were all clean, comfortable, and had a really cozy, homey feel. Also, Anthony's communication was excellent and made the whole process smooth from start to finish.

My family and I were in town for the week for a convention. We took are fur babe and the backyard was absolutely perfect for him! The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. Within minutes of the house there was many food options and very close to the highway. It was 20 minutes to downtown so it was great! If we're ever back in St. Louis we will definitely stay here again!

Mallory was a great host. She was very responsive and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The home is a nice size for small or large family and the neighborhood was very quiet and welcoming. However, be prepared to drive to other neighborhoods for certain things like Target, Walmart, and Sam’s or chain restaurants and shopping. But I can’t complain since St. Louis doesn’t have traffic. You can tell a pet has lived in the home, so I would communicate if you are sensitive to pet fur. I have no complaints about this listing!

One of the absolute best Airbnbs we have visited! Walkable to pubs, stadium, Arch, and Farmer’s Mkt. Historical charm, beautiful gardens with plenty of blooms, inviting interior filled with live plants and comfortable furnishings. Rich goes above and beyond, stocking his home with anything you could need; coffee drinker - he has insulated cups with sleeves for morning walks, forgot a toothbrush - he has a basket full of new toothbrushes waiting on you, want a beer - he stocks the bar fridge downstairs! My favorite was the documentation he has for guests to learn about his home’s history and the neighborhood! He sends recommendations of his fave restaurants and asks what you might be interested in knowing. Rich was very responsive our entire stay. An absolutely lovely stay! We will certainly stay again.

Our stay here was great! Dzenad was very responsive with any questions I had. It is so peaceful with the river practically in the backyard. I DEFINITELY recommend staying there if you get the chance.

What a lovely place for our small family to stay with our pup! The space was just right for us, and we loved the charming neighborhood (coffee roasters & cafes nearby for walkable meals) and the large yard with room for our pup to run! The home is warm & inviting, considerate of pets and kids while maintaining high standards of cleanliness- the place truly was spotless! The beds were comfortable, towels were fluffy, & we had everything we needed for our stay, plus many thoughtful touches here & there. Everything in the home is organized efficiently for good flow, & even thoughtfully arranged for pets & kids. The host was quickly responsive when minor issues came up. Overall a great place to stay in a lovely neighborhood!

Brandon's place is incredible, truly a gem! It's beautiful and spacious. It's luxury that makes you feel like home! Brandon is also really communicative and available when needed. The entire experience was dreamy! I'm absolutely staying here again!

One of my best Air B&B experiences. Plenty of on-street parking, very comfortable home. Nice area for walking and running. Nicely furnished. Would definitely stay here again.

Took a mini vacay to St Louis with my mom & the kiddos. 3 adults & 2 children had plenty of space for sleeping. The pool & hot tub were so relaxing. It felt so homey. We were offered fresh produce from the garden. Lots of pots & pans if you like to cook while traveling. The bar was nice if you like to relax with a drink. Everyone loved the Pac-Man machine! Tons of at home amenities like streaming channels, coffee maker, potato chips, toys for the kiddos, giant Jenga set, etc. Private & safe location. Only 20-30 mins driving to the heart of St Louis. We really enjoyed our weekend and would recommend this home to anyone needing a family spot to relax.

It's a wonderful place that I lived almost four months in here. It's clean and calm and with all sufficient appliances and supplies to support a convenient life. The owner is very kind and helpful as well.

Ed & Najeh we so friendly. They were extremely responsive and helpful. This place is the perfect place to enjoy so much to do, shop & eat. The pool/hotub is amazing. Highly recommend hosts & this location (either place on lot) if looking to stay in Illinois or doing anything in St Louis.

Tracey has created a lovely little haven. Her space exudes peace and comfort and provides all one could want for a short or longer stay. The park across the street was a great place to take my dog for walks. Grocery and other stores are nearby and the freeway is easily accessible. Tracey is a welcoming and thoughtful host.

Great location, very responsive host, had everything we needed. Things to know before you stay: want you to check-in and out through a separate website not Airbnb, kind of a hassle. Unit is on the third floor but elevator floor is #2. If you have lots of luggage it’s a good idea to bring a cart or wagon. The elevator was shutdown when we were leaving and had to drag everything down stairs. Parking is limited especially after 5pm. There was a water issue in the kitchen sink we just had a slow stream when using the faucet. Host did send maintenance but he couldn’t fix it. Apartment was not professionally cleaned but wasn’t horrible. If you intend on doing makeup or need good lighting in the bathroom for getting ready you will be disappointed. Rain head in the shower is low pressure. Had a great stay with plenty to do and forest park is a short walk away. Loved the coffee cafe just around the corner every morning for a latte.

Excellent place to stay with a larger family. Within 15-20 mins of all things St. Louis. Would definitely recommend! Wish we could have taken advantage of the pool, but the weather didn’t cooperate.

If you need somewhere to be while you’re in St. Louis, this definitely the place you want to be! I absolutely loved the pac-man machine inside too! I’ll definitely be back here when I return next week if it’s still available!🔥

Chose the house because it was close to my nephew, allowed dogs and had a fenced in yard. House came complete with supplies of all sorts and I appreciated having glass containers in the kitchen, not just plastic. House is roomy and yard is a nice size. When I first got there, the house smelled very musty, but running the overhead fans and the air purifiers eliminated it. Management was responsive on the few occasions when I contacted them, especially when I first got them and discovered that the batteries to the lock needed replacing. Although the house is located on a major street, traffic lights make backing out easy and at night, it's quiet. The area was safe and it didn't go unnoticed by me that a local cop lives across the street and parks his car outside. Had limited contact with the next door neighbors but they seemed nice. One note: The laundry area is on the basement, down a somewhat narrow flight of stairs, in case that's an issue for you.

Jill was very nice, and the place was better than expected. I thought it looked nicer in person than online. The location was close to everything and was one of the cheaper Airbnbs we could find. Even though the location was a little sketchy, the neighbors were nice and helpful when we accidentally got locked out.

Another perfect stay at Perfect Getaway. The home was very clean and the host communication was quick and easy. Great neighborhood and great location. I highly recommend.

Nice home with a great location. Wonderful upkeep - this is really a nice neighborhood. Easy parking, - big backyard Very safe for dogs. The only thing I would suggest is more power outlets, and some sort of small normal height table to eat. Eating at a stool counter for four nights is difficult. Other than that - seriously good rental.

It was so nice to get away and relax for the night at the cottage! It was so peaceful! Water pressure in the shower was amazing and the bed was so comfortable! Will definitely stay again!

The house was exactly as described and shown in pics. Clean and well decorated. Sean allowed us to check in early due to very early arrival flight. Had a few hiccups at the house but he was very responsive. I am from St Louis but live out of state now and was back visiting. His place is within a 20 minute drive to most places you may want to visit and major highways. FYI for the short girlies like myself, the house was designed for taller folks so you may have to hop a bit to get into tall bed and use microwave but well worth it 😁 I would recommend Sean’s place and would stay again on my next visit.

Location was great and felt very safe. Street parking was completely fine and all cars were safe. The back yard was great for dogs or kids. The house covered all the basics. The beds were really comfortable. Plenty of soap, shampoo, etc. in the large bathroom. Biggest complaint was lack of closet space. We certainly made do and it’s not a deal breaker but the bedroom that sleeps up to 4 has no closet and only one chest to sit luggage on. There’s also not much space to sit things on like charging stations for electronics on both sides of the beds, etc. The house isn’t “homey” per se since it’s a full time rental, but it is still very comfortable and extremely clean. The host is the most responsive host I’ve ever had and was very proactive letting us know about guests checking in and did help a ton when the upstairs neighbors were so loud we couldn’t sleep in. It’s an older home which explains the noise, and there are signs reminding everyone to please be polite and quiet which is nice.

Kevin was a great host and his place was perfect, while I was in town for the week. The inside was cozy and I like the extra touch of snacks for my pup. I’ve stayed here twice now and would definitely stay again!
