Vacation rentals with lake access in Discovery Bay

This Cabin is a gem! It is private and peaceful with many things to do, including fishing, pickleball, kayaking, petting animals (horse, miniature pig, dog), and with many wineries near by. We also fed the horse Whiskey with the provided treats. Michelle's husband was kind enough to offer us fishing poles with live worms, but we weren't lucky enough to catch anything due to the cold weather. He also offered us to check the chicken pen where we picked up 3 fresh eggs for breakfast. Knowing that we were planning on playing pickleball after checking out, he quickly cleaned the court for us, even though they were in a hurry to leave. On the down side, the pond is smaller than expected, so don't expect to kayak for long. The shower also ran out of hot water after about 10-15 mins on both nights that apparently never happened before. We showered after 10pm on both nights so that might be a factor. Michelle was responsive to the issue and offered to check on the issue the day after.

We love this place on the delta. Amazing location, perfect accommodations and wonderful host. We will be back again for sure. Highly recommend.

A true gem with this lake retreat! The home was beautifully remodeled, decor was perfect amount, and location and access super simple. Would recommend to anybody who wants a getaway or change of place/pace.

This home was super clean. It had the most well stocked kitchen of any place i have stayed. There were plenty of activities for the kids: peddle boats, paddle boards, ping pong and games. The neighborhood is quiet and there are a few places to eat within walking distance. We brought our boat and it was so convenient to have the dock at the house to enjoy the water all day, returning to prepare meals in the great kitchen.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was beautiful and the surrounding area was serene. Melissa was extremely responsive, accomodating, and easy to work with. We hope to be able to book again next time we are in the area!

I really enjoyed it, especially sitting out on the dock in the moonlight at night. Just enjoy nature very quiet and serene. The location is on a canal of the San Francisco Bay Delta river I believe. it’s on the Sacramento river correct me if I’m wrong. The amazing thing that probably 20 to 25 miles away via the river system is Stockton California, which is 50 miles inland is also a port city they bring large ships down this river system. Remind me a lot of Key Largo, where I’m from with no ocean, but it has beautiful water, I really enjoyed it there and thank you for sharing it with me.

We had a lovely stay over Christmas week. Very peaceful. Loved the view! I can only imagine how fun it would be in summer, too! The accommodations were comfortable and beautiful.

Very nice area and house right on the lake. Our Grandson and daughter enjoyed the paddle boat and we had fun fishing. We didn’t catch anything and weren’t sure if there were any fish until a guy in a boat was catching fish by our dock. I’m sure as usual we weren’t using the right bait or lure. 12 year old grandson enjoyed playing basketball at the park nearby but the 7 year old was disappointed the play structure at the park was under construction. But there were other play structures nearby we could drive to.

Sandra was awesome! We even invited her to hang out a couple days. Lovely lady. I’ll start with the good parts. It was VERY clean. Very comfortable as well. The shower was great. Lots of hot water, even for both of us. Fishing was great. Right off both decks. It was very peaceful there. I can’t begin to tell you how many different kinds of birds, seals, and river otters we saw. Very cool. Bring binoculars! The negative feedback I have, and not reflecting on Sandy at all, but the owner. And I hope they read this. Many things are breaking or broken. The sauna didn’t work. And I was looking forward to that. Big bummer. Almost all the blinds were half hanging down because they were broken too. The bbq only half worked, so that was inconvenient. The lock on the main door didn’t lock. Kinda worrisome. It just needs some care and maintenance. Now again, we loved Sandy, and would consider going back if it was repaired.
