Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Diani

I probably thrown out a few five star reviews that didn’t quite deserve it. Honestly, I would give it a 10 star review compared to some of the other five star reviews I’ve given. I love this place, and I’ll be back again!

I am happy I chose this place. It does not feel like a lot of today's airbnb houses without personality. This has character. The host is very easy to connect with and at the same time I had my own privacy. Be aware there is no airco but everywhere there are ventilators. Is close to the beach and many restaurants around if you want. What I appreciated very much is that there are the basics to make food: like salt, pepper, oil, ... . As well as good water. Thanks very much.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bohemian Villa. The place was stunning, better than the photos. Catherine greeted us on arrival and checked on us each day to ensure everything was okay. Rama, the chef, served amazing and fresh seafood every day. This location was also a very short walk to the beach front which has a number of restaurants. It was easy for us to get a Tuk tuk from the front security gate to get around. Thanks for a great stay! Will recommend to friends going forwards

Absolutely wonderful Airbnb and very considerate, friendly and helpful host. Clutter free, well thought out and with all the necessities - a home away from home. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay. the house is spacious, clean and tranquil, and the staff are fantastic. Zablon is an excellent cook and we enjoyed his fresh fruit salad and a variety of tasty seafood meals. The upstairs balcony overlooking the boabab tree and indiginous garden with, and with an amazing view of the ocean, was a wonderful place to chill and unwind. The beach is quiet and beautiful and the position of the house makes the area feel secluded. Would highly recommend this house and would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose.

Shamila as a host has left no words that can express my gratitude. She has gone out of her way to help my family and me be comfortable. She made us feel so comfortable that it became a home away from home and leaves me sad that it’s time to depart. Chefs cooking was fingerlicking and made our occasion so very special. Faisal the butler was always responsive to anything and everything we needed with an ever smiling face and warm words. Last but not the least little “Aussie” you were the cream of the cake in this lovely well designed villa. There’s going to be an addition into the Milamaxhomes and I wish Shamila and the team all the best. But be rest assured you have earned my loyalty. Xx

We had a fantastic stay at Patricia’s house. From the moment we booked, Patricia was incredibly supportive and responsive to all our inquiries, making sure everything was clear and easy. She was always available if we had any questions during our stay, which made us feel very well taken care of. The housekeeper was also wonderful—keeping the space spotless and ensuring we had everything we needed. And the chef! The meals were absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared, making each dining experience a treat. Both were professional, friendly, and ensured that our stay was lovely and enjoyable. The house is beautiful and it met all our expectations i.e. Beach front (One of our key requirements), And all the indicated amenities and proximity to key facilities. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch stay. I’m already planning my next visit. Thank you so much for everything—you’ve earned loyal guests. 🤩

When visiting Diani and Galu Beach, you’ll be very happy to stay in Oyvind’s lovely flats. You won’t be right on the beach - it’s a whole 7 minutes walk to get to there - but you will be in a huge, 2-floor flat with plenty of room to stretch out, great sofas and even better beds…all for a fraction of what the places on the sand cost. A great find! And everything you’ve read about Lucy is true - she’s a treasure!

Loved our stay here. Having the pool right outside was great. The place was clean and Rachel the caretaker was very nice and accommodating to our late check out.

Martha was very kind and responsive. The apartment is inside a compound with several other houses but it was still very peaceful. The pool is great and has enough space for everyone who’s sharing it. All the staff was nice. The location is great, with the pool right in front of the beach. It’s a short walk to Salty Squid Restaurant. We had a great time and will definitely come back

The house was clean when we got here and looked really nice just like in the photos. The hosts were very helpful and gave suggestions for activities to do while here. I especially loved how friendly and warm the hosts are :)

Enjoyable stay at Omondi's place. Easy check in process. The building is generally old but the apartment had all the basics required. The host was extremely helpful and responsive and proactive . We had an enjoyable stay overall. Thank you Omondi.

this airbnb was fantastic, the location is great and has secure beach access at the end of the road. the salt water pool was lovely to relax at and take a dip, it is shared with 6 or so units, but was very rarely used and quiet. Miguel and his staff were very quick and easy to communicate with. the unit itself is quite new, clean, and the AC are very nice and bed is comfortable. when checking in, one thing to note would be to enter the gates at the address indicated, and the apartment is immediately on the right when entering. this is not very clear as there are villas down the long driveway with the same unit numbers. ask the security for "sandcastle" units. we also rented a car in diani and there is nice shaded parking space which is very nice and secure. lastly, you need to ensure the patio doors are LOCKED at all times, the monkeys will open them if not, they are very cheeky! would rent this unit again definitely.

Loved my stay at Namastani Diani! I don't think I've been more comfortable in the tropics. Fred, the caretaker, is the best! So very kind and genuine. The free breakfast with fresh coffee on the veranda every morning followed by a dip in the jacuzzi and walk on the beach were just what this tired traveler needed. I can recommend it to anyone.

Faith is a kind and responsive host. I always choose to stay with her when I am in Diani as I know I can count on her to always be available. The place itself is in the best location at Blue Marlin and next to Salty Squid, but also with fully equipped amenities. I would recommend to anyone!

Caren is much more than a host, she's also like a travel agent, friend, and care taker all in one. She helped me plan my trip no matter the time, had the best recommendations, and went above and beyond to make sure I had the best stay possible. To top it all off her place is much larger in person than it looks in photos. Very tidy and organized just how I would at home. I would easily stay here again. Thank you for everything Caren!

The Apartment from Julie and Nancy is real clean and nice. Everything there what you need. The location is great . Very close to a supermarket 6 min walk and restaurants and bars. Also the beach is only a few min. walk away. Nancy was easy to reach and helped us quickly by questions and problems. The place is very pleasant and secure. Highly recommended.
