This is such an adorable place to stay comfortably for 4-5 people. It’s private, quiet, cozy, and conveniently located to Snowshoe. Highly recommend this stay

Such a beautiful home in a secluded area! If you want time away with all your household amenities, this is the place for you. Everything was clean and tidy. There are tons of trails in the surrounding area if you’re into hiking. Overall, I would highly recommend this location!

It was a wonderful stay! The hostess immediately responded when I couldn't follow the entry instructions. The house was pristine and clean, and the beds and couches were comfortable. There were kitchen utensils for use, including a coffee maker, which is a must for our family. We enjoyed climbing in Summersville Lake and plan to return for our next trip.

We stayed here for our Thanksgiving holiday with the family. We had 6 adults and 5 kiddos ranging from infant to age 7. The house was perfect for accommodating a large group. The game room was the perfect spot for the kids to play while we cooked in the 'perfect for Thanksgiving' kitchen; 3 ovens and a very large, spacious island for prep and serving. The property has an unattached apartment above the garage. It is nicely done, though has a trundle bed which we were unable to use as the kids were too young to be up there alone. Would rather see a murphy bed up there for better use both kids or adults. Ryan also made a recommendation for a local photographer for us to use, Jay Young at Iron Arch Photo. Great pictures! Overall, an excellent property and I would highly recommend.

Good CLEAN cabin for us to have an anniversary getaway! The hot tub was a necessary feature & made our stay even better.

We were eager to provide our twin boys with a memorable experience for their birthdays, and we were delighted to discover this charming grain bin transformed into a cozy tiny home. Our friends were genuinely impressed with the photographs I shared, and we were thoroughly pleased with the cleanliness and tasteful decor of the place. We enjoyed gathering around the gas fire pit, sipping hot chocolate, and roasting marshmallows. The location is conveniently situated within walking distance of Smoke on the Water BBQ, which offers exceptional culinary delights. Additionally, the proximity to town provides access to a variety of restaurants and coffee shops. We highly recommend Scottie's, a family-run establishment that serves delectable country-style cuisine reminiscent of our grandmothers' cooking. Furthermore, the area offers an abundance of natural attractions, including Bickle Knob Observation Tower, Seneca Skyway, Tygart Lake State Park, Canaan Valley State Park, and Allegheny

Kevin sent us very clear and detailed instructions for using the features of the house. The house has a lot of sleeping spaces and a very well equipped kitchen. We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner there. There is a continuous covered porch and deck with dining table with umbrella. Many extras are provided such as a baby gate, high chair, roll away beds, and plenty of blankets and towels. We were there during cold weather and the house was warm and cozy. The furniture is a little worn. The house cleaners seem to be doing their job with routine cleaning but a little extra cleaning (dust wall decor, clean shower curtain, etc.) would improve the place. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Thanks for the stay! This house was perfect for our group, very spaceous with a large kitchen and family room and the location could not have been any better. Less than a 5 minute drive to the Summersville parking lot, so if you are planning on going to the lake then look no further. Would love to stay here again sometime!
