We have been staying at Carole’s place every Christmas for the last 5 years. It’s a great place. It’s a medieval house nearby the Porte Saint Jacques. You are transported to another time and this is precisely what makes this place so special. It’s great for families and groups. A word of caution, the house has 3 floors and stairs might not be suited for folks with reduced mobility.

We stayed 3 nights at Catherine's place on a visit to Le Puy du Fou. The house is beautiful, cozy, tastefully decorated. We felt at home there. the terrace and the small garden are a real plus and very nice to have breakfast or enjoy the barbecue 😊 i highly recommend this place.

Very good contact with the owners, the quality of the accommodation was as described, the distance between the accommodation and the direction of Le Puy du Fou was well, which was indicated about ten minutes. The tranquility of the accommodation allows a good night's rest... I would highly recommend it.

Alain and Bernadette greeted us with warmth, mirabelles from the garden and a homemade jam. The stay was going well! We had great tips about the area and its activities. This place was exactly what we were looking for for our large family, and we were able to celebrate our "little one" 's 30th birthday in very good conditions. Accommodation perfectly suited for children of all ages, it was very nice: games and toys, high chairs, umbrella beds, blender for baby purees... Thank you Catherine

We had a lovely family stay in Jacques' house. We were 7 adults and 6 children and each was able to find their space in this vast residence. Foosball has been put to the test for wild parties. We took advantage of our stay to visit Saumur and enjoy fools in an excellent cave restaurant. We recommend this place to stay for families or groups of friends.

Our stay at Olivia's went very well. The house is very clean, easily accessible. The amenities are fantastic, placing it at the top of the airbnb we've already rented. Communication was easy and Olivia came to greet us in person a little after we settled in. The small town of Melle offers all the services and has charm. Much nicer than Niort itself, it took us every 1 hour to 1h30 to reach Futuroscope, Puy du Fou, La Rochelle or Ile de Ré, Le Puits d 'Enfer. The area is full of great proposals…

My kids and I are delighted with our stay. We were warmly welcomed, advised and accompanied during our stay by Nathalie. The listing matched the description. It is very functional, very well equipped until the games and the space for children. Bedding is comfortable and bed linen is provided spotless.
