Vacation rentals with lake access in DeSoto County

This spot is a bit out of the way, be sure to grab groceries before getting to the house. Well stocked kitchen, clean bathrooms, comfortable beds. Very nice place.

We stayed here as home base for our daughter’s wedding at the Robinshaw. Our primary needs were space for 7A/5C as well as proximity to the venue so it was ideal. Home was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Enjoyed the game room. Some things to know: It’s about 20 minutes to restaurants. It’s fine for older kids, but not ideal for littles as they may end up upstairs alone in two different spaces (upstairs room w/twin daybed and upstairs room w/2 queens off the kitchen). The upstairs spaces aren’t connected to each other and the one with the queen beds does not have a bathroom in close proximity. The master shower was a little quirky to operate. Pool is not heated. This is an older home that has been very nicely updated, but needs new vanities in downstairs baths. If your teens try to sneak out, the squeaky floors will give them away lol. Host was attentive. Allowed us to stay an extra hour to eat lunch before our mid afternoon flight. Mailed back our forgotten item (for a fee).

Stayed at James' house with college buddies & our wives, and had a great time. The house shows its age but is comfortable, well maintained and quiet, and we loved the pool. James was a great host and was always readily available to communicate. Would recommend staying here for a large gathering of family and/or friends.

The pictures show how beautiful the home is and how amazing the view is. What you can't see is that the layout of the home is perfect to spend time together and to spend time apart. The bedrooms are perfectly separated far enough apart that those who wanted to sleep in could do so without being woken by others awake and starting the day in other parts of the house or those who wanted to go to bed early while allowing others to stay up late and have fun. Sharon was very responsive to any questions we had.

We really enjoy staying at the Manor. April is a great host, always helpful, kind and responds immediately. This is our second stay at the Manor and it never disappoints. Love the new upgrades that were done since our first stay. We are in the area twice a year and we are looking forward to staying there every time. Already planning to book for our next visit.

This place is truly wonderful. The local outdoor critters were excellent little ambassadors and the kitties were just charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will visit again soon.

We felt right at home walking into this place. It was very clean and neat. Everything was right at your finger tips.
