Andy is a fantastic host, suggested local hotspots, promptly replied to emails and had even supplied a local ground coffee for breakfast which was really thoughtful. We are hoping to go back again soon.

Soozey & Jen provided helpful directions on how to get to the place and was very helpful throughout our stay. The place is so beautiful, well-designed and carefully thought, we really enjoyed our stay so much!

Great stay in lovely cottage. Michael was very proactive in providing information prior to the stay and gave a lot of information including parking, access, and contact details. the cottage was as described, had great features and all amenities that I needed for a stay.

Great place, exactly like the photos. Really responsive when messaging & answered any questions about travel. Would definitely stay again! Only downside was the noisy construction work across the road but this out of their control. Perfect and spacious apartment.

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! I highly recommend staying at The Lodge! The accommodation is spotless, beautifully furnished with a modern touch, and comes with a hot tub offering stunning views, including breathtaking peaks and a nearby waterfall. It’s also just a short walk into the charming village of Marsden, which boasts fantastic pubs and restaurants. Our long weekend stay was perfect, we started with a hike in Glossop, just a 30/40 minute drive away, and then spent the rest of the time exploring Marsden’s pubs, restaurants, and surrounding villages, as well as unwinding in the hot tub. An absolutely flawless experience that I can’t recommend enough!

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage—it was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location, just a short walk from the high street with great pubs, restaurants, and a lovely bakery. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the hamper provided. The only small downside was that we weren’t informed until the day of arrival that wood and kindling wouldn’t be provided. Since the cottage was advertised with a log burner, we had assumed these would be included. However, this didn’t take away from an otherwise wonderful stay, and we’d happily return!
