The team at Afloat Management was very flexible with our reservation and adding/removing guests which was very helpful. They were very responsive and helped us get everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property at Caraholly retreat was beautiful, peaceful, and full of things to do - hot tub, sauna, beach, crab fishing, kayaks, paddle boards - we had such a great time! Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such a warm and friendly welcome that made us feel right at home. The cabin itself was cozy and inviting, with comfortable beds that ensured a restful night's sleep for our family of four and our beloved pup. We loved exploring the nearby trails and soaking in the beautiful surroundings. After our little hikes, there was nothing better than relaxing in the hot tub, which added the perfect touch of relaxation to our vacation. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and are already looking forward to coming back—perhaps with some friends next time to share the experience! Highly recommend this lovely retreat for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.

the most magical place i’ve ever stayed. location and vibe was exactly what i was looking for. if your debating staying let me make the decision easier, do it! you will not be disappointed. it exceeded my expectations. the small art touches by Line Marie really made it so magical. i was worried about the bed but it was incredibly comfortable and good pillows and blankets as well! it was december when we stayed and we brought our own wood and heated with the wood stove, it was so cozy. the hot tub and view was jaw dropping. i spent a lot of time under a blanket in the hammock on the porch reading, so surreal listening to nature and observing wildlife. perfect place to journal or draw at the mosaic desk in the loft with the windows open.

An amazing experience!!!

This was our first time staying longer than one day in Canada. It was beautiful and peaceful, The Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to grab groceries our first night and they gave us some Pasta and Spaghetti. The hot tub was also very warm and relaxing. We will be back in the Summer to Kayak and swim for sure!

Beautiful spot in paradise. The cabin was fully stocked with beautiful linen, bathroom amenities and a fully stocked kitchen (2 fridges). The communication from the owners was amazing. The only problem was the road up, they do have a gator but you need experience to use it but otherwise highly recommended.

The cabin on the hill was super cozy, the perfect place for a weekend retreat! Wonderful rustic atmosphere, but with all the basic amenities as described making for a comfortable stay. The surroundings are beautiful, and the communication with Ana and Curtis was seamless. We would love to stay again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Alderwood Farm! The cottage was cozy, impeccably clean, and so well-appointed—it felt like a home away from home. The farm store was an unexpected highlight, offering incredibly delicious foods and treats at a great value. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful—the lasagna and pies were standout favourites, but the breakfast basket stole the show. The eggs were simply amazing! Jules was the perfect host—so welcoming and attentive. We also loved meeting the farm's charming residents, from the emus and chickens to the absolute star, Tony the donkey. Their presence added such a unique and joyful touch to our stay. As dog parents, we can’t say enough about how much we appreciate how dog-friendly Alderwood Farm is. Our pups are our world; they were just as thrilled as we were to be there. We can't wait to come back! Thank you, Jules, for creating such a magical place. 🐾✨

The cottage was great with a wonderful view from the main living area. We traveled in offseason (November) with the typical chilly weather and so nice to be inside warm and cozy. Easy location to get around Point Roberts and a nice walk to the beach community below us with our dog. Rose was very responsive to our needs when a cancellation forced us to book at the last minute. We were very appreciative of her quick confirmation and instructions. Would book here again!

This place is so great. My only negative is that I wish we could have stayed longer :) It's located just 15 minutes from town/ the ferry, the local food places are excellent, and the cabin itself was gorgeous. We sat on the deck for hours watching for sea lions and whales! Can't wait to come back :)

Rustic family cabin in the middle of an oasis. In off season very quiet with few neighbors. Very cozy with fireplace and lots of candles. Everything you could possibly want or need in the kitchen. Perfect chaise chair to read in and poofy chesterfield with lots of pillows to sink into.

Haley and her husband were kind , generous , and flexible! Haley kept the accommodations warm , inviting , and welcoming! Me and my husband enjoyed our stay greatly at the quaint cottage ! The surrounding area was gorgeous and the location was ideal for peace and comfort! Would love to book again if ever in the area

The place was slightly dirty and dusty feeling, more like no one had been there for a long time. The mattress in the room with a view was very old and worn in and uncomfortable to sleep on. Besides that, everything was great! I feel bad even complaining about the cleanliness and mattress because we had an amazing time but feel like the next renter should know. the area and views were worth it all!

We loved staying at Adam’s place! It was very roomy for 9 people and the kitchen was awesome. Fully stocked with everything you need to cook. All the beds were comfy and it was plenty warm at night. There was a wood burning stove with firewood already cut so you didn’t need to worry about it! There’s also good wifi service for those needing to work. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful few days, very tranquil, lovely location. Would stay here again.

John was very thoughtful knowing that I was checking late. He left lights on so that i could see when I arrived. He left a lovely note welcoming me to the home and sent good thoughts for my daughter’s surgery for which I was staying at his place for. He wrote instructions on how to find a trail and hoped I could enjoy a walk on the beach before tending to business. I would stay there again in a heart best.

We thoroughly enjoyed Susie’s cabin which was well laid out and in a great location vis a vis restaurants, stores and the ferry. The cabin is also nicely situated on the property affording a sense of surrounding green space. It provided a good base from which to explore the island. Susie is a responsive host who provided restaurant recommendations, helped us decipher the inter island ferry schedule and generally replied promptly to our questions. We highly recommend her place to others and also hope to return in the future.
