Rika is a very warm person who is thoughtful enough to check in with us before our trip and inform us of the usage instructions for all the things in the house. The house is fully equipped and beautifully decorated, with many items that add to the ambiance. The best part is that all the dishes and kitchen utensils are high-quality and not the cheap kind. All the little details made us feel taken care of! Upon check-in, we received small gifts and snacks, and during our stay, there were plenty of blankets and toiletries available for us to take as we needed. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the trip, and we especially want to thank Rika for her support and care, which made us feel like we were at home. We really enjoyed our time! We were in Oneonta for Parents weekend and wanted to stay close to town but away from the Parties and Trains. This place was a the perfect balance. We played cards on the porch and had coffee overlooking the Susquehanna River.

Our family of six adults enjoyed a quiet & relaxing weekend. We were greeted by a thoughtful welcome card and gift of s’mores ingredients/bottle of wine. The place includes all the comforts of home. The hosts put a good deal of effort into ensuring their guests have all the necessary items for a relaxing getaway. From shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms to firewood to hot tub towels to coffee machines and much more. Everything seems to be considered for guest comfort. The home is a mix of old & new which includes some very lovely furniture pieces. The large living room couch is comfy. The kitchen is equipped with all you will need for a family meal. The grounds are magnificent! We appreciated the ponds/dock, covered and open porches, fire pits, hot tub, and fabulous view. We stayed at the house most of the time. Communication with the hosts was excellent! Truly a home away from home. We hope to return. If you seek tranquility with a side of things to do, this is the place for you.

This house is spectacular! It’s everything we were hoping it would be. It’s beautiful, well-maintained, it had everything we needed. The location was absolutely perfect, secluded and private but not too far away from town. The best part of our stay was the host. She was so responsive and helpful. No matter what came up she was right there walking us through it. To me that’s the worst part of an Airbnb is when you have an issue and you can’t reach the host. The house was stocked with things that we needed and then some. We plan to stay here again next year for my dad‘s 80th birthday. Thank you Anna!

I stayed here with my friends’ families and it was a great experience for three families. It was really spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and every item worked as expected. The host, Laura answered every question so quickly. Thanks to the great support, we were able to do everything we wanted to do in the house. I recommend this house for everyone who considers a ski trip to Belleayre with three families including children.

Beautiful and very comfortable house, everything is brand new and well decorated. The best part for us was the deck and backyard with the gorgeous views of the river and the fall foliage colors, also the beds are very confortable and the master bathroom is amazing with the views to the river. The house was wonderful- had all necessary items. We loved to cold Plunge in the pond and follow it up with a visit to the sauna. The porch was lovely to enjoy your coffee or cocktails. Very welcoming and homey feel to the whole place.

This weekend was amazing I love the Great outdoors if your looking for a nice peaceful place to get away and relax and bring a few friends this is definitely the place host was very cool the house was absolutely beautiful the water was really nice i highly recommend 🎯🎯

Francine and Vince were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and provided many suggestions for local places to visit. The location was perfect for us since we were in town to watch our son play baseball. We were close to both All-Star Village and Dreams, which was perfect. The lake was also beautiful. My husband and I had a great time during our stay.

My wife and I stayed here last year for the first time and we came back again this year because we really liked this place. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome. The place was clean and well kept and the 3 bedrooms gave us more than enough space for our needs. They even let our cat stay here which most places won't allow. We really liked the location, the park like property, and being within walking distance to the town pool and the local deli. Thank you again Mustafa and Olena for a wonderful stay!

Great place near Cooperstown for Baseball Hall of Fame visit and overnight stop. Many thoughtful touches. Very cute decor!

I was looking for a very autumnal place to rest with my family for my husband’s birthday I invited my friends to accompany us all they loved the location the landscape the super clean cosy spacious house

Wesley was a phenomenal host, beautiful home, extremely clean and comfortable! He checked in with us, making sure all was well during a snowfall, and offering a generator if the power were to go out! The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and there were many other little extras like games, snacks, some drinks and all the cleaning supplies you might need. If we ever visit Cooperstown again, I would definitely stay at Wesley’s house a second time! Thank you for making our stay great!

This is our second time staying at Claudia's place in Roxbury and we loved it! The house is charming, cozy and welcoming. The fireplace and sunken living room are simply amazing, and the views from the deck are wonderful. We'll be back again!

Andy’s house is beautiful and truly feels like a peaceful oasis. The bathroom was sparkling clean and modern (though I think we showered a bit too long because we ran out of hot water one evening), and the living spaces are so cozy that we didn’t even want to go outside! There isn’t so much to do in the town of Prattsville, but we visited in Tannersville, which was lovely, and a few other neighboring towns that were 20-40 mins away. Perfect for a fall getaway - would definitely stay there again. (Also bring your own coffee beans! We did have a moment of panic when we realized we were supposed to bring our own, but thankfully the previous guest had left some in the grinder.)

I am so grateful that I found Sarah Melissa’s Birdhouse. It was the sweetest, brightest, coziest, and magical little place. I was welcomed by beautiful music playing throughout the house. It’s the perfect size and so aesthetically pleasing, bright colors and art and tons of sunlight. The house is very private, but not completely isolated which I liked,and perched overlooking the most beautiful meadow and fairy like woodland. I was able to sit and watch the deer graze during sunset and listen to the crows fly over. I was also there for the full moon and the view was spectacular. I was there for a peaceful quiet weekend and i got just that. Sarah melissa is such a generous and kind person and was very available and offered tons of recommendations from dining, to entertainment to hikes. I did the frick pond loop hike and it was beautiful. I can’t wait to go back. I really really loved this place.

We had a wonderful time at Alexandra's house. The house is lovely and was a great fit for our needs, with a fun kids room and plenty of toys and games for the little ones. We also really enjoyed taking the boat out on the pond, exploring the grounds and the creek, and relaxing in the family room. Alexandra was very friendly and although we didn't need anything during our stay, we felt she was always available should something arise. We would definitely stay again!

Deb and Mike are the best hosts! We felt so at home the moment we arrived. They gave us bottles of wine and also showed us around the property. Mike made sure that the bonfire is ready for us to use and kept it running the whole time to ensure we are warm. Deb was also very helpful before our stay and she answered all our questions including local recommendations! ❤️ We are definitely going back!!

We loved Maria’s home. The house was cozy and inviting, and very clean. The beds were comfortable and could sleep 5-7 people. The sitting area couches and chairs were nice. Everything we needed was in the home. I forgot a toothbrush but was pleasantly surprised that the bathroom closet was stocked with toiletries. I would 100% recommend Maria’s house!
