We had a great time in Espoo around Christmas visiting friends and family. The house was ideally located close to major shopping centers and train stations. As we were traveling with a dog we found the house to be perfect for our needs and close to major parks and nice places to walk. The house itself was ideal for us. Many sleeping rooms, a kitchen, a larger lounge, and of course the sauna. Free parking just around the corner helped us as well. We were traveling during slightly odd hours of the day but the hostess was were flexible in allowing us to check in early and check out late. In summary, a great stay well worth the money.

Very peaceful and cozy place, both the cabin itself and the surroundings. The view is breathtaking and we were lucky enough to get some snowfall, turning the area into a winter wonderland. We also had a rare chance to fall asleep with a relaxing sound of sea waves and watch some swans and reindeers. The kitchen in the cabin is packed with all sorts of devices, from dishwasher to aero grill. Sauna experience was also really nice and relaxing. Already looking forward to the opportunity to visit again. ☺️

Paul went above and beyond to accommodate us. His place is in walking distance to some of the capital’s top sights to see. One block up from the water. A short walk to one of the ferry terminals. A fantastic restaurant downstairs next to the entrance door. His place was comfortable, clean, everything we were looking for. Hopefully next time we stay longer and get to use the sauna. Highly recommended!

We are very happy to stay in this house so clean ( in every aspect), quiet and cozy. 10' walk to train station, others 10' with train and you are in the city center. If you come with a car,there is place near the house to park. We stayed here when the temperature on the street was close to 0 degrees, but inside the house you could be with short sleeves. Inside the house there is everything you need for cooking, comfortable sleeping and t.s. In short: very good impressions of this place. We already know where to stay if we have to go again through Helsinki.

Two rooms and sauna in a modern apartment

Mr Virgil is a gem of a person. First of all the place is very well maintained, cleaned and very well organised. You will find everything you need. All utensils in kitchen, all necessary items (tooth paste, shaving kit, cream etc) in the bathroom. For example - bathing liquid and shampoo were of very high. quantity. My flight arrived late and he waited for me (till midnight) to ensure my smooth Checkin. And one day Mr Virgil invited me for tea and social / cultural talk and had wonderful exchange of thoughts. I thoroughly enjoyed and would love to stay when I visit Helsinki. Unfortunate my his place is in very high demand and I am not able to find availability next month I am planning to visit.

This was a very easy spot to walk to the Metro from! Beautiful view of the sea! Bike able to the city center! In the middle of a lot of other buildings being built, but not noisy or problematic. Exactly what we needed for a week to explore the city!

Excellent place. Quiet and pleasant location but very near Helsinki's main attractions (and a conference centre). Literally next to a useful tram stop. Generally clean and comfortable - quite hard bed mattress if that disturbs you, and the bathroom is a little tired but completely reasonable for the price of the flat.

Our stay was just incredible. The apartment is very confortable and spacious and is impressively well equipped. The sauna was a real ally whenever it was a bit cold outside! From the loft’s balcony, you have one of the most beautiful views you can get of the city. The district is trendy and has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants, shops, etc. and is very close to the city center (about 25 min walk to the train station). Whenever we needed something, Chris was there to help us. One of the best airbnbs we experienced so far. Our warmest thanks to Chris!
