Wagon Wheel Ranch Bunkhouse is a wonderful place decorated with a western flair. The incredibly equipped kitchen provided everything you could possibly need to cook a full meal for an entire family, including herbs and spices. The hot hot tub was a restful experience after long days hiking. We will definitely stay there again. Do not hesitate to book!

Comfortable house surrounded by amazing rocks. Views of the mountains in the distance and extremely quiet. Doug's place is local to hikes and other attractions around Lone Pine like Movie Road and not far from the local grocery store or restaurants. We enjoyed our stay here to get away and unplug as well as hike lots of places around the nearby desert.

What a wonderful house for our family of four while visiting Death Valley National Park. The house was extremely clean and came with all the amenities that can often be left out of other house rentals. The location of the house was amazing to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view. It was very private while also still being in town. Karen was prompt with all of her communication and answered all the questions we had. We would book this house again if we ever find ourselves back in Beatty, NV.

This was my second time staying here, it's been a few years since the last time. It was just as clean and well taken care of this time as it was last time. well supplied kitchen, clean linens etc... was better than home :-) We immediately felt comfortable (advice to all who stay there, every light switch is upside down from what you expect). We were busy all day and could just come back and collapse in comfort just like we were in our own homes. I would recommended the house highly, and it's my go to place for when I visit the area. This was our 8th time staying at Rio's Ranch. Always a pleasure and very relaxing. The views are spectacular and Mike and Diana are exceptional hosts. Their home is always clean and well equipped and is relatively isolated from neighboring properties, affording a quiet, peaceful stay. Trails are accessible to the south from the house, and other, popular trails are a short drive away. Rio's Ranch is our first choice. And it's pet friendly!

Beautifully decorated home, very comfortable beds and seating areas. We felt right at home. We stopped in Ridgecrest one night on the way to Death Valley. I wanted a place to laundry since we had been on the road for 5 days already. the laundry room is nice and clean and had laundry soap provided. Every little detail for a traveler was appreciated!

Magical property w/ HOT TUB in the Alabama Hills

Our stay was great and, overall, what we expected. The views are always amazing in Lone Pine/Alabama Hills. The house is close to Movie Road and you can easily access hundreds of miles of other dirt roads that lead to mines, ghost towns, etc. We brought our large overlanding truck and logged well over 100 miles in the dirt--seeing things you wouldn't normally see up close with a car. The house served as a great base for this. We did run into an issue with water pressure during our stay but Jill and Tracy were super responsive and have a surprisingly strong network of maintenance folks in the area (or relatively close) considering Lone Pine is not a large town by any means. The issue was fixed in an hour or so and we would give Jill and Tracy six stars for responsiveness if we could. Responsive hosts are as important as the house/location itself, so hats off to them. Highly recommend.

loved staying at Rebecca's place! The backyard was quiet and serene, neighborhood was wonderful. Felt right at home as soon as we checked in and looooveeee the rocks around the house. Ridgecrest is the place to be! I did notice there weren't a lot of electrical sockets around (which wasn't a problem for us, as we just needed to find places to charge our electronics) so be sure to bring an extender/adapter thingy for the whole family!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb in Lone Pine, California, with an incredible view of Mount Whitney. The accommodation was outstanding—very well stocked with all you could possibly need, making it feel like a home away from home. The host provided an excellent experience, attentive and welcoming, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. The breathtaking view of Mount Whitney was the highlight, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that made mornings and evenings truly special. Without a doubt, I would rate this Airbnb a solid 10/10. It was the perfect combination of comfort, thoughtful amenities, and stunning scenery. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lone Pine!

Comfort Inn the desert was just that comfortable. Felt like home. Has lots of space. With my 4 kids, everyone had their own area. Plenty of seating. The beds and the couches were plush. Hopefully it's available again the next time we visit as we go up there at least once a year. We didn't have any issues, but Olivia was very communicative before we arrived as well as after we left.

We stayed in Nicole’s place with 2 adults and 2 kids over our spring break and loved it. We didn’t know anything about Ridgecrest but wanted a jumping off point for some Death Valley and Mount Whitney excursions. While nothing in California is particularly close, this proved to be an ideal location for accessing both places and we also ate at some really yummy restaurants in Ridgecrest and could get everything we needed at the multiple grocery stores in town. The house itself was situated in a calm, lovely neighborhood that easily connected to dirt trails — great for walking and running. We really enjoyed walking through the neighborhood in the evenings, with the sprawling desert and panoramic mountain views in the distance. The yard was lovely, like a little oasis, with a daily hummingbird visitor and a pool with a diving board. We enjoyed all of our meals in the outdoor dining area and found the interior of the home to be perfect: clean, spacious, comfortable and fully stocked.

While the entire home is beautiful. The heart of the house is the kitchen. It is such a comfortable space. We spent most of our time sitting in the breakfast nook, conversing. We didn't even turn the TV on. We do a lot of riding just outside of town and just outside of Death Valley. It would a pleasure if you would consider renting to us on future trips. It was a wonderful stay overall. There are two bathrooms, but the one attached to the master bedroom doesn't have a door. So it became a bit difficult to manage for 7 people, since 5 ended up using the common bathroom. Would be helpful if there was some form of separation added between the master and the connected open bathroom.

We had a really good time at Jeff's place. It's a beautiful and large place, squeaky clean and organized and yet super homey! Jeff is a wonderful host, had left us a very thoughtful handwritten note, with welcome gift and was very welcoming and responsive. This house is a well-appointed gem with the beautiful backdrop of the Alabama Hills. Great hikes were a 5 minute drive. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. Very thick towels. Great sheets. Lots of pillow options. The bedrooms are on one side of the house away from the living room/dining room so after kids go to bed you can be loud. We hung a hammock in the yard for our two little kids and had a really relaxing getaway.

Our family of 4 stayed here a few nights while we visited Death Valley NP. It was just as they listed - comfortable, quiet, great for what we needed. The kitchen was stocked - had everything you could need and way more. Beds were comfortable. They really did a thoughtful job of setting the place up. I recommend if you want to see DVNP and want an affordable, comfortable place to stay.

This lovely house is located in the middle of Death Valley and Las Vegas. It only takes about 1 hour to go to these two famous places, which is very convenient. The landlord decorated all the rooms very warm and comfortable. Whether it is the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or public area, they are all very clean and pleasing! The landlord equipped the guests with enough tea bags and coffee capsules, and the abundant quantity is very friendly to guests who drive. Because we brought our puppy with us, the landlord even put dog biscuits and dog chews, which made our little dog very happy! This house is very suitable for tourists who need to travel to both Death Valley and Las Vegas. It is highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mike’s house. The home had all the amenities we needed, and the kids enjoyed the games, books, and movies. The beds are comfortable and the sheets/blankets/towels are super clean. We had some issues at the beginning but the hosts resolved our issue with such responsiveness and professionalism, that made us feel very well taken care of. Overall we highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

We had an amazing stay near Death Valley! The house was spotless, cozy, and perfect for our girls trip. Our host was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She provided breakfast each morning, and even packed us chocolate chip cookies and water to take along on our hikes—such a thoughtful touch! We especially loved the fluffy bath towels and all the little comforts that made the stay feel like home. Excellent host, great house, and a wonderful location. We can’t wait to come back!

Great location and only a little over an hour from Death Valley! Everything was very clean and immediately felt like home to us for our five day stay. Ryan was super quick to respond and resolve when there was a weather-related issue affecting the AirBnB. We went out to eat dinner while he got it fixed and by the time we returned the issue was gone! Loved the complimentary water bottles, condiments, cooking seasonings, popcorn, even items for the washer/dryer! Everything felt very safe in town and there were tons of restaurants and places to go grocery shopping nearby. Would highly recommend this place for anyone just wanting to relax away from society or wanting to head to the national Park!
