Amazing cabin with amazing nature. Loved it all

The perfect place to just relax and unwind for a few days! The cabin is cozy, chic and the selection of plates is amazing. In the pool you can relax superbly and Nienke and Gelmer are super friendly! I would come back again and again!

Nice place to recover, friendly host

Great place. The location is on a business park, but if you are in the building or on the terrace you won't notice it. The building and grounds are oriented on the adjacent water.

It was beautiful at Jitty's, we felt right at home - we saw many animals in the yard, cows, chickens, cats, dogs, geese, even poultry:) The location is very quiet, perfect for relaxation and deceleration and the hot tub was great too. For children, the accommodation is certainly also very interesting, as you can also watch the farm life (e.g. milking). You need a car to move around flexibly - Franeker and Harlingen are great little towns with some attractions (especially the planetarium in Franeker!). Leeuwarden is also quickly reached and a little bigger, there is also a lot to see there. But you can also take very nice walks from the property. We will come back very gladly!!

What a wonderful place! We greatly enjoyed the cottage, the jacuzzi and the hospitality of Yvonne and her family. Great bicycles to arrange in the area and nice restaurants in Dokkum on 25 mins cycling (electric). Highly recommended!

We really had a great time here! Henk and Liesbeth are super sweet, warm people with whom we also had cozy chats. The cottage contained all the amenities we needed, was sparkling clean and super cool. The environment is also beautiful and it was really relaxing here for a while! We will definitely come back here!!❤️

Casper’s place was incredibly real. Atmosphere in the green and cute lake is the best camping place I have ever seen. Facilities was all working, even restrooms were common, clearer than expected. Best place to clear your mind and getting rid of city crowded. Looking forward to 2. Time to be there!

We had a lovely time at Lydia’s. The cabin is decorated with so much love and one feels right at home The cabin is super clean, very well equipped and child friendly. Our 2-year old loved the toys and didn’t want to leave. The surrounding area is just as beautiful with beautiful forests, stunning meadows, quiet villages and lovely museums nearby. On top of that Lydia is a great host. She replies super fast and was always friendly and super helpful. One can truly feel how much she loves her holiday home and it was such a joy for us to stay at her place. We can highly recommend everything about our stay. It is perfect for a peaceful getaway to enjoy nature and some family time. Thank you for having us!

Had a very nice stay. Beautiful surroundings and the cottage was equipped with all the comforts! The contact with Annedoor was also very pleasant.

One fully expected a fairytale character to pop in for tea. It was magical! Almost a kind of time travel back in time and yet with all modern conveniences. And many lovely walkable paths for our dog too! I simply cannot recommend Carina and her lovely cottage enough! We are grateful!

Lovely place with all the amenities and fully stocked. You don’t need to bring anything except toothbrush! Coffee is also provided. And if you are lucky you will get to play with the very happy doggy. If you’re really lucky you’ll see a beautiful starry night. Highly recommend this place.

What a great log cabin Els has, with all the comforts! Everything was taken care of to the last detail. Very nice contact with the incredibly hospitable and spontaneous owners, and the sweet dog Sally. The weather was also very bad, so for us at this time of year (definitely our favorite) to discover the beautiful surroundings together with our dog. There were cozy villages and nature is breathtakingly beautiful. Enjoyed in the evening under the starry sky with a fire and a glass of wine. Our battery is fully charged again and we would love to come back 100%! Thank you so much for a fantastic stay and see you next time!

Unfortunately, due to illness, I was unable to travel, so my son was there alone with his dog. But he felt really in good hands there and would come back anytime.

Great place to stay on a beautiful lake. Many possibilities, especially for children. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our vacation early due to illness, but we would be happy to come again!

May stay here last weekend. Warm welcome and a lovely feeling upon arrival of the cottage and surroundings. Total peace and amazing views. Sunset was really beautiful. Village of Lemmer is fantastic! We had rented this log cabin last minute to get a breath of fresh air in Friesland. Don't expect luxury, but the log cabin has everything you need for a quiet holiday on the Frisian Lakes. Kitchen, cooking utensils, chairs and seats to sit outside. The beds are fine. Close to the water, so swimming in the morning before breakfast is no problem. The pitch itself is spacious. We were able to use a supboard (nice experience, never done before), cycling (not used, we were more on and in the water) and there was much more to use (yoga mats, golf set,...). The rubber boat with BB motor that we also put together (was probably not used for a long time, instructions were provided, but was a bit of a puzzle with the bottom plates) and made a few nice trips on the Fluessen. Communication with Thijs was prime, responds quickly to questions. All in all had a wonderful 5-day vacation - where the beautiful weather also played a big role.

We had a wonderful holiday week here. Location was perfect. In no time you can walk to the small Frisian city of Sloten and explore the wonderful region by boat. The Check Inn was smooth and we got a detailed instruction for the boat right from Thorsten. The chalet corresponds exactly to the description and is cozy. Our kids and the dog enjoyed the meadow next to the cabin to play ball. We especially thank Thorsten for the great excursion ideas by boat. A truly helpful, friendly and always available host. Had a very nice stay in Jorge's wooden cottage. Nice beds, cute cottage, everything is fine, close to the beach. We saw a beautiful sunset on the beach. Tip: go to Hindeloopen to eat. Super nice place, like you're going back in time. Thank you!
