Vacation rentals in De Fryske Marren

We stayed at Patricia's house with four adults and two kids over New Year's Eve. The house and the park are ideal for spending quiet days after Christmas and relaxed, without firecrackers etc. into the new year.

This property is the right one in Stavoren to book in to. Spacious, clean, well thought through whether in the design and layout or in the convenience of en-suites. It really is comfortable, cozy, and easy to feel at home. As they say here in the Netherlands…”gezellig”! I highly recommend it. Of course Ben is an exceptional host!

We visited Andréia for the second time and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The location on the water is fantastic. The apartment is optimally equipped and sparkling clean. You can plan your excursions wonderfully or just sit relaxed by the water and fish. Andréia is such a warm and loving host. I could rave even further here but I think there is no more to say than that we will come back a third time.

The stay is worth the price. However, it is worth having your own basic equipment of kitchen ingredients with you, if you want to cook as wonderfully with the wonderful view from the kitchen to the sea;-). (You will have to buy everything - salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices, etc.) But the jumbo in the village is a great shop (7 min. in the car) and the essentials would also be available in the campsite shop. 4 minutes by car/10-15 min. by foot) However, the towels for the bathroom are offered and included. You don't need to bring anything. Look forward to unforgettable days at sea!

Nice welcome by Brigitte. Pleasantly arranged house on the edge of a holiday park. 3 separate bedrooms so fine to stay with the five of us. Lovely underfloor heating and a nice complete kitchen inventory.

We had an amazing stay! The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. They were proactive in suggesting local spots, including charming farms and hidden gems, which truly enriched my experience. The location is absolutely perfect—ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by nature, it felt like a gateway to tranquility. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and it felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a beautiful, serene setting!

Lovely, spacious house in one of the most beautiful places in Friesland, located directly on open water with beautiful views over a lake (It Piel, borders Heegermeer and the Fluessen) and the countryside. Recommended for those who love peace, space and the Frisian lakes.

We enjoyed it very much. It's a beautiful, decent mobile home. Nice with the air conditioning. Plenty of space all around in the garden and the shed. Friendly neighbors, child-friendly campsite with playground and swimming pool.

What an amazing house this is and what a top host Aleida is. Fortunately, we were able to check in and check out a little more flexible. The house is super spacious. We were only 5 people and yet she had made up a separate room for all of us! Everything was super tidy and communication went mega smoothly. We would come back here in a heartbeat for a follow-up weekend! Highly recommended.
