My family and I felt right at home. It was absolutely as described. Very idyllic, quiet and as soon as the sun came out a dream to spend time outside. Anita was super sweet and even brought some cake. It was really great and this beautiful property was just a dream.

We had a great stay in Schoorl. What a wonderfully spacious, cozy house. The fact that the owners themselves seem to be staying in the house regularly and the kitchen is well stocked ensures that it feels like you are visiting friends. Absolutely a top spot!

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

We had a great stay at de Kleine Walvis. Henk was a great communicator and everything went very smoothly with all the arrangements. We highly recommend staying here (though in busier periods, some people might not like being in a holiday park).

Wonderfull house. Supermarkets close by (5 minutes by car). Well equipped kitchen great living room and bedrooms. We used the sunny terrace a lot for breakfast and dinner. We would definitely rent the house again.

We visited Andréia for the second time and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The location on the water is fantastic. The apartment is optimally equipped and sparkling clean. You can plan your excursions wonderfully or just sit and relax by the water and fish. Andréia is such a warm and loving host. I could go on raving here, but I don't think there is anything more to say than that we will come back a third time.

It was a wonderful stay

We had a good time in the apartment: communication went very smoothly and we could enter the apartment with a key box. The apartment was very clean, there was a bag of chocolates for us, tasty! It was also very quiet there. The Koog is easily reached within walking distance. We took a very nice walk through the nature reserve to the beach to eat something in the beach pavilion pole 18. It was very quiet in the apartment, and we slept well in the good beds. In the morning we could enjoy a radiant sun on the terrace! We will definitely come back!

Nice tinyhouse in a nice place with lots to see: pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, donkey, plant nursery, etc. Wonderfully quiet (dead quiet) and close to nice places such as Harlingen, Bolsward, Sneek, IJlst, Workum. With unobstructed views over the fields. Nice staff. Wonderfully warm and very clean.

Fantastic place, surrounded by nature and animals. Maaike was great host, very kind and attentive. We enjoyed eggs directly from the chicken in the farm - fantastic for breakfast. We would come again!

My friends and I had a very nice stay in Ak's apartment. Instructions via the app were very clear, communication was very nice anyway. And we were very well received in the apartment! The stay was super clean and everything you need is present. The location is top! Walking distance to parking garages, restaurants and shops. The only but is the noise at night from the church bells. Furthermore, really highly recommended!

Lovely apartment in the centre of Alkmaar. Close to lots of great restaurants and the canals. The apartment itself was very comfortable and clean.

Inge is an attentive and friendly hostess. Even though she couldn't greet us in person, her representative was just as friendly and accommodating. The apartment was clean, well equipped and was very good for our trips to the beach. We felt very comfortable from the first minute. We found a guest book with tips on restaurants and destinations from other guests to be a very good idea. We'd love to come back if we find ourselves in this part of the Netherlands again. Top stay, beautiful location and nice host. Can be a bit noisy outside in the night due to the location in the center, but definitely not disturbing. Thank you!

Nice quiet accommodation with a pleasant host: Although it is very small, everything you need for your stay was available. Especially if you are arriving by car, you will greatly appreciate the reserved parking space right in front of the building. Bicycles are provided by the landlord. The pedestrian zone of the old town is only a few minutes' walk away and a supermarket in the neighborhood is open daily until 10:00 pm. Highly recommend!

Anna's apartment is very nicely decorated and was extremely clean. By car, you can quickly reach the beach. It's about a 40-minute walk. Keep in mind that there is no supermarket in the immediate vicinity. We found the surroundings beautiful, but surprisingly noisy due to the agricultural operation. Communication was great.

We had a very nice time here and felt very comfortable! The location is also super convenient and you can easily reach everything in Alkmaar. 😊

We had a wonderful stay in Alkmaar and in the apartment! The communication with Diwa was great, she welcomed us, gave us a lot of useful information, we could always contact her and she was super friendly. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. It has a beautiful balcony and a great view. We loved, that it’s located in the middle of the city with nice cafés around the corner. For parking there are good options that Diwa told us about. We totally recommend staying in Diwas apartment and would love to come back!

We were able to enjoy the most spectacular sunset ever directly from the terrace overlooking Lake Ijsselmeer! Great! The house is right on the waterfront. Wall with a piece of meadow in between. For our Labrador dog, who loves the water so much, it was a paradise. A few meters from the house there was a mini beach. She always dashed off there and went swimming. When we got there, there were even dog bowls and treats. Really nice! Everything was fine IN the apartment. View of the sea from the sofa and bed. Real vacation feeling. Since it was not yet the season, many restaurants were still closed. But the good kitchen equipment made it easy for us to take care of ourselves. Our hosts proactively sought contact and repeatedly assured us that everything was OK and that we felt comfortable. Thank you! :-) We'd love to come back sometime.

The apartment is super cozy and very nicely furnished. There is everything you need. The location is ideal. You can walk to downtown in 5 minutes. Still quiet. Communication with Majsa was great. As a welcome there was a bottle of wine and something to nibble on. It was beautiful all around. We definitely want to come back! Thanks very much.

Everything went well, the host is very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is close to a train station from which you can get to Amsterdam in half an hour.
