Vacation rentals in Dauntsey

Lovely clean accommodation. We had 4 adults and 2 teenage boys and the accommodation was perfect for us all. The local area is great for exploring aswell. You need longer than a week to explore and see everything.

**First of all, I want to thank Carly for providing us with such a beautiful home on such short notice.** **Location:** The house is situated in a very beautiful and peaceful location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet it's close to Westbury if you need to buy anything. **Parking:** There is free private parking available for 2-3 cars, which is a great convenience. **Interior:** The best part of the house was its stunning interior. Everything was handpicked, and the silver and pink color combination was well appreciated by my family. **Lawn:** The private lawn, complete with wooden blocks and outdoor furniture, made our experience even better. We enjoyed a bonfire and cooked our food outside in the wooden oven. **Host:** Carly was incredibly helpful; she even came to give us a power cable for our big speaker for party music and allowed us to use the wood blocks for the bonfire. I would be happy to stay here again if got opportunity to visit there

Beautiful house with such a homely feel, I didn’t want to leave. Hosts were always responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Tamsin & David were very friendly hosts, reply quickly and were very caring and helpful as we arrived in the midst of a class red storm. David called to check we were ok and gave advice to weather the storm. The home was spotless, very light and well equipped, underfloor heating was a treat and there's a nice little courtyard which would be good in the summer. There's a lot of attention to detail - Christmas cushions had been put out - which was really nice and showed a lot of thought. Windows, cupboards etc were child proofed which was good. The bungalow is within easy drive to Bath centre but there didn't appear to be much within walking range of an evening. We didn't mind this, being winter it was nice to stay warm indoors. Being at the top of a hill it may not be ideal if you have walking issues. The approach to the drive is very steep so something to be mindful of, plus backing out onto the main road. Overall this is a great value place, very homely and we had a lovely time.

We had a lovely two day stay at Brenda's place with our two boys. The house itself was spotless, with a lovely garden and in an amazing location right next to a play park our 3 year old loved. Brenda was extremely responsive and the bag of baby toys left out was a nice touch!

The Avon lodge was the perfect retreat for a relaxing couple of days in the countryside. The house was beautiful, cosy, and spotless and we will definitely be returning. A bonus was our lovely host Carole, bringing us fresh pastries for breakfast in the morning which were delicious!

Myself and my two children stayed here recently for the week and the house is beautiful. The property had such a warm and relaxing feel to it and had stunning decor. We loved it here and will definatly stay again. James was very accommadating and friendly and really helped us out during our stay. 5 star property.

We had such a lovely stay- the flat was really well equipped- with so many toys and books for the children and everything you might need in the kitchen. The complimentary bread, butter and coffee was a nice touch. Aside from the house some of the activities seemed quite expensive such as bike hire but the canoeing around the lake was well worth it. Overall we had a fab time and found Suus to be very helpful. Thank you.
