Clean and practical inside - comfy beds and lovely shower with an awesome spa pool out the back to relax in. Mick and Meg are great hosts - very friendly with great local information.

A wonderful home to stay in Wollongong , and private enough to have some peace and quiet. Beautifully kept home and all amenities were great. Great location and surroundings. Nice views of Port Kembla from the balcony. Picture a warm cup of coffee on a balcony looking towards the Ocean with birds chirping and reading your favourite book or listening to your favourite podcast. Rae's place offers just this. You'll love it.

The bungalow was presented in an excellent condition with lots of goodies. The views from the lake side along with the walks were brilliant. Definitely a place we recommend for anyone to visit the Lake Macquarie district. Susie was an excellent host and after introducing herself left is to do our thing, catching up with my daughter. We enjoyed a couple of days at the Pool House in Caves Beach. Good location, an easy walk to the beach, shops and cafes. The Pool House was perfect for our needs, very clean, well equipped, private and the fridge was thoughtfully stocked with milk, bread, eggs, wine and beer and other provisions. A very comfortable stay, thank you.

Long weekend break with my wife, 7yr old daughter and our toy cavoodle. We had such a lovely relaxing time. All 4 of us went out a couple of times on the lake in our inflatable kayak which was just 150m walk from the front door. Total escape from everyday life. Visited Forster twice too to sample the yummy seafood and explore the beaches. Also sampled the smoothies from Kens next door cafe, a must taste...they deliver to the door! Beds super comfy, kitchen well stocked with essentials and the most comprehensive local attractions/recommendations guide I've ever seen! Ken has put a lot of thought and effort into creating an escape haven that you won't get bored at even if you stayed a month!! Ticked so many boxes for us and exactly what we needed for a well earned break. Would highly recommend.

Stayed for a bit more than two weeks. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. Contrary to the description, the bathroom is annexed to the main room so you do not have to exit to go to the bath. Laundry was also available, which was very helpful. Loki visited us often, which was very nice for us to have some company. 🙂 Would definitely come back anytime.

I had a very easy stay here, granted, my intention for the stay was to totally unwind and vegetate between having a very busy work trip, and a lengthy journey home, but this was definitely the perfect location to do so. plenty of great food options near by, Daniels accomodation was very comfortable and allowed me the privacy to unwind how I needed, whilst being close enough to Sydney nightlife, should I have wanted to indulge in that, and also a very short Uber ride to the airport when the time came to begin my trek. I would absolutely recommendbto others and would happily stay again.

We (my husband, daughters 4 and 2 and myself) stayed at the Kookaburra Cottage for 3 nights over Christmas. With small children, trying to create a comfortable familiar and welcoming environment away from home for Christmas was our priority. Fenella and Liam went above and beyond for our family. They set up a gorgeous Christmas tree, placed thoughtful gifts for our family and created a beautiful place for our us to spend our holiday. We were given local information, greeted upon arrival and were made to feel comfortable from the very beginning. We cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and thoughtfulness- something that is often lost when travelling over the holidays. We are extremely grateful for their time and effort. The cottage is cosy, and had everything we needed. We hope our girls have fond memories of their first Christmas away from home. Thank you!

We enjoyed our time in this private and beautiful space. Even though the neighbors are close it felt secure and secluded. Dinners on the veranda were an absolute highlight as well as monopoly with the crew. I didn’t realize the second bedroom wasn’t a part of the house but it’s own separate unit so that was a surprise but it ended up being okay. The kitchen was perfect and bedding was comfy!

We stayed at Jasmin’s over Christmas. The house is beautiful, and the location was so peaceful. Up in the escarpment but still close to the beach, it was perfect. Jasmin was very easy to communicate with and it went off without a hitch. An additional bonus was the cat that lived there. My brother spent most of our holiday with him snuggled up on the lounge. Would definitely recommend.

The house is in a prime location very easy accessible, parking right outside the property. The area is fabulous walking distance to some lovely bars and beaches. Comfortable beds .How was very clean , Couldn’t fault the house.

We stayed at Jackie and Chris’s idyllic bungalow for the first time over the Easter weekend. It was simply one of the best and most beautiful bnb’s I have stayed at to date. The location of Otford is excellent being central to Helensburgh and Thirroul, the scenery is also spectacular! The bungalow itself is exquisitely outfitted. Having anything you could ever need. It was exceptionally clean and organised and even smelled amazing! It is such a warm and inviting space to be in, you instantly feel right at home. There is also an amazing view of the rain forest from the deck. Although it’s close to the main residence it feels very private and secluded. Jackie was very quick to reply with any questions and gave us some excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. All in all it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Jackie and Chris are absolutely lovely to deal with, and exceptional hosts It is the most genuine and positive experience I have had with Airbnb.
