House vacation rentals in Darling Downs

When my daughter’s rowing regatta was relocated from Rockhampton to Wyaralong dam we decided to make a girls weekend out of it anyway and chose to stay Lumiere Farmhouse. We had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed some of the local experiences, we visited the camel farm, local markets and also experienced rodeo and dirt bike motocross all in the same day. However, the highlight of the trip was our stay at Lumiere. The beautifully styled home has an incredible outlook across the rear deck from the daybed near the kitchen, the comfy lounges, the beautiful beds and linen. The home is larger than you expect with space to come together but also room to retreat, read and enjoy the peace and quiet. Having a fully equipped kitchen was brilliant. We loved the coffee machine; so easy!! We all would love to visit again. Thank you!!

We had a great stay at Anna’s. I was worried that the detached bedroom would be too hot but it was surprisingly cool at night. The house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for our large group.

How is this a real place! Absolutely beautiful as soon as you hit the gate. Stayed here for a wedding at Crows Nest and all of us agreed we would stay here again. I put up a few photos on my socials and had several people ask where we were staying, it looked that enticing! Thank you Julie for opening up your beautiful home.

We had a wonderful stay during our time in Maleny for our elopement. The house and views are absolutely stunning and it was the perfect place to unwind after a busy start to the year. The host was extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating. We are looking forward to coming back in the future.

A fantastic setting for families after a long week of travel. Queens park at the end of the street, farmers markets on Saturday and Cobb & Co museum all within a few minutes walk. The pool was a huge hit and plenty of room for us to spread out. We loved our stay and wish it could have been for longer.

‘Cranley’ is a lovely lifestyle block on the Northern edge of Toowoomba. The rustic accommodation was spacious and very comfortable, with a wide terrace overlooking a large in ground pool - a great spot to relax. The place is ideally suited for a family, with a selection of toys, books, and games for all ages - plus DVDs. However, it’s equally a relaxing retreat for couples. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and with a small menagerie of animals to pet and feed, it definitely delighted the grandchildren when they came to visit. We look forward to our next time there

Verity’s home was an absolute pleasure to stay in. It was so meticulously thought out, absolutely spotless, inviting and we felt right at home. Finishing touches like fresh flowers around the home, devine toiletries and delicious treats left for us. We will most certainly be back. It truly was such a fantastic home to stay in

Lovely homely cottage with plenty of space, beautifully clean & had everything we needed. Breakfast offering was a nice touch (bread, condiments). Great for families/children with books, games & swimming pool/ BBQ & spacious deck area to enjoy meals.

The stay was short but we were very comfortable and will definitely stay again, thank you Jess.

Another wonderful stay at Sandy's beautiful property. This is now our go to house when visiting Warwick, very peaceful and very accommodating hosts!

Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway. The house has old world charm and has everything you could ever need.

A lovely aussie home, with lots of character and attention to detail. Well equipt and great amenities. Lovely decor, toiletries, linnens and crockery, everything you could need and all in good condition. Pretty outdoor seating options on the veranda and patio. Comfy beds, great shower and bath. Very near to the Pheonix pub which has some great food options.

Loved our stay at Banksia Cottage, an amazing historic property, lovely gardens and well located in the city - we’ll be back again!

We attended a family event which was very close. Jo-Anne's home gave us a little independence while being very comfortable and close to a major shopping centre for all the extras we wanted. The house was beautifully presented and cosy. We genuinely appreciated the basic groceries that were there when we arrived which meant we didn't need to do a mad dash for the shops after having driven 10hrs. We were looking for a close to Brisbane weekend getaway to share with family and friends. Stuart’s place met the mark. A very cute cottage, well appointed, fabulously close to Maleny with a beautiful country aspect. This is a much loved home that Stuart and family are proud to share. We definitely recommend staying at Stuart’s place.

We were so happy with our stay. Paul was so lovely and made our stay very comfortable. The house was clean, cozy and in a great location. We would highly recommend this space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Leanne was there to greet us but respected our privacy and gave us support when needed. I’ve already recommended it to others and will probably return before too long.

Angela’s place was a beautiful accomodation option for our wedding at Gabbinbar. Only a few meters from the gate, with a gorgeous backyard for the dogs to run around in and a very clean and gorgeous space inside the house. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to others! Thank you Angela :)

We had a relaxing stay. We loved sitting out on the patio overlooking the bush. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were very useable. Our host was thoughtful and left fresh milk in the fridge and had a great selection of tea and coffees. Would definitely stay again. Stanthorpe has a lot to offer for tourists and the town has a relaxed 1970’s vibe.

This home is nothing short of outstanding. Gorgous views from sunrise to sunset. beautully appointed amenities, you could not want for anything, all that you need is provided and the little details are very thoughtful. We stayed here for a family birthday getaway, but this beautiful venue would suit any celebration or seculded escape. Our hosts were great to communicate with, very responsive and spoiled the birthday boy with some unexpected treats. I can not recommend this property enough, we would love to come back one day. Thank you to our gracious hosts.

House was clean and well equipped. Perfect for two families. Plenty of parking for cars & Jetskis. Short drive to lake but beautiful view of lake from house. Would definitely recommend to others.
