Location, Location, Location! House is in the heart of Southwest Center City, in a very safe neighborhood. 10 min. walk to Rittenhouse. Just got renovated. Sleeps 8, 4 bedrooms, 3 double beds and one queen bed. House has 2 full bathrooms, one of them is on the first floor. Please check about pets. There is a charge of $375 as a RETURNABLE security deposit. It will be returned within 7 days of check-out date, unless there is exceeded housekeeping needed or exceeded utility bills had occurred.

Five Star Accommodations

We've had more than one guest tell us that Bancroft Cottage was better than their stay at the Hotel Dupont! (and a lot more reasonable may we add). In the event that we already have a guest checking out on the day you are checking in, or checking in on the day you are checking out we will need to adjust the check-in or check-out time by one hour to allow sufficient time for the Housekeeper. We have exterior cameras in the front and back for added security for our guests and the property.

My place is close to major highways and shopping, 10 minutes from DIGGERLAND. 30 minutes to Philadelphia Convention Center. Atlantic City - 1 hour away. Neighboring towns are Medford, Mt. Laurel, Cherry Hill and Voorhees. Our house is in a residential neighborhood. It has a large fenced in back yard with an inground pool. There are 4 bedrooms: 1 queen bed master, 1 full bed, 2 twin beds, 1 queen. Owner onsite in private inlaw suite, from main home.

Kayla’s place is perfect for business or visiting the area close to go in any direction. It’s clean and has the feeling of being at home with a full kitchen with everything you need as well as a new washer and dryer. Kayla is responsive do anytime you reach out. The house was just lovely and comfortable. We were able to spread out to sleep, then gather in the living room and dining room to catch up and plan. We were in town for a family event so didn't get a chance to explore but the area seemed very nice and the locals were impressed with the location. Common areas were on the ground floor, three bedrooms on second (we had problems regulating the temp at night there) and then a single/twin bed on the top floor. It is an old house but clearly lovingly renovated so that it didn't feel old and creaky, except for the front doorknob coming off. I would stay there again and have recommended it to the Wilmington locals for their guests. All of the hosts were friendly, quick to answer questions, and work with our schedules. Thanks to you all!

Ryan's place is cool, and you'll like your stay. My son thought Ryan's place was the best part of the trip. The surrounding neighborhood is up and coming, and we felt safe walking during the day or night. Historical sites are 30 to 40 minutes away by foot, but we Ubered most places. I highly recommend venturing on N Christopher Columbus Blvd and walking along the Delaware River; the Race Street Pier provides a beautiful view of New Jersey. Ryan's place is next to I-95; as such, there is highway noise day and night. If you are a light sleeper, know that the noise of cars whizzing on the highway doesn't go away.

Since I’m originally from the area, mostly knew what to expect but was surprised at how homey and perfectly located this adorable and functional cottage is. My goal was to decompress and wander to look at homes possibly to purchase. So easy to walk - roads easy to follow between Main Street and river. So many green walks and parks but best are the historic homes.

We used the home for a small family gathering and it worked perfectly. The layout- big dining room table and large coffee table with the couch surrounding was perfect. Kitchen was very clean, everything worked well. There were a few key items missing in the kitchen-pot holders, sharp knives- I mentioned to the host after snd they were responsive so I imagine they will stock that. Overall, Manpreet was very responsive.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others. A few small spots could have been cleaned a bit more and the price was a bit steep compared to similar locations, but ultimately happy we chose to stay here and the size of the home was perfect for what we needed.
