Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Daratsos

The Super Host title Menelaos holds is well deserved. Like all the guests who have stayed at this home we were given great tips and valuable information regarding Old Town Chania. The generosity provided us was one of a kind in terms of very useful items left in the apartment. Watermelon, mango, a great many oranges, apples, peaches and lemons, lots of wine, coffee, beautiful honeys, olive oils, nuts, pistachios, Asian mix and candy’s. Incredible. The washing machine does a great job and there is both a drying rack and a clothes line in the large back deck. The AirBnb description does not tell of the smart TV which allows many guests from many countries to watch TV and we also enjoyed the water filtration that is in the kitchen. I have severe food allergies so most of our meals were made at home and unlike most AirBnbs every possible gadget required to make good meals was supplied. We stayed a week and were quite sad to leave as we felt right at home in Menelaos’ place.

Excellent value for money. It has everything you need for a medium length stay - well equipped kitchen, iron & ironing board, even provided slippers and toothbrush. A cleaner came during our stay (I assume this is a weekly thing) which was nice to refresh the apartment. Parking was easy (there was usually space right outside, and if not, very close by). Dimitris was a fantastic host who responded really quickly all the time. He went above and beyond, providing some great recommendations for our stay and even sending some beach towels for us to use. We had no problems during our stay, but I have total faith that Dimitris would have solved them quickly if we had.

Wonderful unit. Well-eqipped kitchen made preparing meals at home very easy - loved the easy access to the Lidl! Comfortable mattress with good back support. Crisp, clean linens in both bedroom and bathroom. The terrace was ideal for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or admiring the sunset. Ilianna's mother Marie is lovely and frequently checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We wouldn't hesitate to book another stay in Ilianna's unit the next time we're in Chania!

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s apartment. Her mother greeted us when we arrived and we were able to have early check in. She had prepared lovely lunch for us and treated us with her lovely food during our stay. Mary provided us many useful tips. The apartment situated in a quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. It was very well equipped. Would love to stay there again!

Everything was impeccable! The place was spotless just as I expected! If I need to stay in the city again I will choose the same house as it is by the sea and very close to the center. Mrs. Jenny very friendly and willing if someone needs anything.

We had a fantastic 7 night stay at Villa Life. The apartment was spotless and well-equipped and the pool and outside areas (including a mini gym which we weren’t expecting) were excellent. Antonis and Eleni were friendly and responsive hosts, sorting us out with a superb value car rental and responding to all queries very quickly. Plenty of parking and a short walk to lovely restaurants. Overall fully recommend!

I had an amazing stay at Evi's apartment in Chania! The apartment is spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect base for exploring the city. It’s ideally located—close to the Venetian Fort, waterfront, and old town, yet quiet enough for restful nights. The apartment was well-stocked with essentials like coffee, tea, water, orange juice, fresh bread, and fruit. A supermarket and the KTEL bus station are just around the corner, making it easy to explore Crete. Evi was a wonderful host, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend it and would definitely return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anna's. It is spacious and really well located, just one block back from the very pretty port and its huge selection of restaurants. It is a fifteen minute walk from the bus station. We loved the roof terrace, but the spiral staircase access would be a challenge for anyone with mobility limitations (see photo in the listing). Being located in an urban area and not having double glazing, there was an inevitable element of noise, but it didn't bother us. Anna was very responsive, helpful and responsive to our requests. It was great value and we would happily stay there again.

Lovely old cottage a few kilometres outside Kissamos. In a small village with several good tavernas in walking distance. Electra is a great host with easy communication and a desire to make sure her guests are happy.

We stayed in this house for 3 nights. It was easy to find and check in without problems. The house is super nice. The facility is as described. The bed very comfortable. We would book again. It was pleasantly quiet, nice to escape the hustle and bustle of the city here and still be quickly in all relevant places. All that was missing was a cutting board in the kitchen. Otherwise, the amenities are minimalist and sufficient!

We had a delightful stay at this charming Airbnb. Upon our arrival, the host prepared a delicious fresh salad from her garden and gifted us oranges from her trees. It was the best fruit and vegetables we had during our time in Crete. On our departure day, her husband also made us a traditional breakfast dish, which was a wonderful treat. The absolute highlight was the Jacuzzi, which we enjoyed every evening.

Giannis place is just perfect for a family wishing to stay right in the centre of old town Chania. The location just can’t be beat and the house is just fantastic and very well accommodated with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for a family with kids. I highly recommend Yiannis place.

Mike is super nice and the flat is very comfortable and sourounded by mountains. Is really nice for hiking trips as well as relaxing and sitting on the terrace and having dinner. There are 4 taverns/ hotel kitchens in omalus, which are ok tastewise. But you can also cook at Mike apartment. His raki is tasty and the olive oil also very nice. Also it’s just 5min from the Samaria entrance by car.

Lovely stay, in a lovely house with a wonderfully attentive and kind host. Really good position for touring Western Crete, a car is obviously a must but the drives to places are really spectacular ( most drives are just over the hour to the south and west coasts). We did stay in November which sees very quiet roads and deserted beaches - like most of the Greek Islands the shoulder months are the time to see them at their very best. We would love to come back in Spring.

We had a great time here, the place is amazing! Michalis is super friendly and responsive, always helped us when we have questions! All amenities needed are available! Would definitely recommend 👌🏽

We have stayed here for a week. The host is very responsive. The apartment has everything you need, central and beautiful. We would stay at this apartment again.

This was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Stefania is the most thoughtful host, she was so friendly, always responsive and greeted us with a home cooked meal which was such a treat when we arrived from our late night flight. The place is stylishly decorated with a lot of thoughtful touches. The beds are very comfortable and the parking spot in front was very convenient. Great location, Lidl and Sinka are about a 10 min walk for groceries. There is a bakery just on the Main Street where we got bougatsa most mornings as well as a lovely breakfast spot called Lily cafe about a 15 min walk. The beach is also only a 10 min walk away. We loved our stay and would love to come back. Thank you.

My family and I want to thank Alena for their hospitality. The apartment is clean , well-maintained , the apartment has everything from towels and all household supplies to games , things for the beach . The apartment is in the very center of the city, 8 minutes to the beach , cafes, shops are all within walking distance . Alena left us a surprise of candy for the children and fruits on the table . Also a week before that we reported that we would have another child coming with us, the host prepared more bed linen and towels for her . Thank you for everything , from the heart .

Place looked exactly how it was listed, he was flexible, responsive and easy to communicate with.

The apartment is very nice! The location is centrally located in almyrida. You can look at the sea from the balcony. I can only recommend!
