Chalet vacation rentals in Danube River

It’s a very unique experience to stay in this lovely chalet! 100% unbeatable views! We stayed during the Christmas time and encountered heavy snow fall, so the cable car ride wasn’t very smooth. But Marylène gave us warning in advance and also stayed in touch the whole time! Thankfully everything went well eventually and we were all stunned by the view!

Maria was such a lovely host and the Airbnb was exquisite. Our return train got cancelled due to train strikes and Maria was able to organize a taxi service; she truly went above and beyond. Her property is beautiful and we made memories I will never forget. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

An incredibly beautiful place in the middle of a natural idyll with a mega likeable, helpful and great host family! Fantastically relaxing, I can only say 1001 thanks for everything !!!

Lovely house, Great kitchen with lovely views of the garden. Kitchen is very well equipped. Lounge with log fire. Sauna on the 1st floor was fantastic after a hard skiing. Bedrooms in the lower ground weren't as nice but still ok if you are a large group and need the space. Location is good but you need a car. Overall lovely property and helpful host. Thanks

Anze’s chalet was the perfect place to spend Christmas and Anze was an incredible host. The chalet had more than enough space for our group of 9 and was clean, comfortable and has the most incredible views of the lake. The location is great as it’s peaceful and private, but walking distance to the town, train station and ski bus. Although small, the kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal and the laundry has two washing machines and two driers. Anze is a very generous host. He was flexible with both check-in and out times, left lovely treats for us, and was kind enough to organise and Christmas tree and decorations so our children could decorate a tree for Christmas. He was also quick to respond to messages both in the lead-up and during our stay. We were all very sad to leave after a wonderful Christmas week at Anze’s.

We stayed there for 6 people, we felt comfortable, the floor heating was great. Everything is clean, comfortable beds, we also used the sauna.

Very friendly host, responded almost immediately everytime. He recommended beautiful spots on the slopes and restaurants in the area. The house was very cute and we had more than enough space. Thank you so much!!

Nice, simple place to stay. Very friendly hosts with a heart for dogs (especially on New Year's Eve). It was super clean!!! Comfortably furnished chalet. Extremely creaky floor 🤣 When the child sleeps, it is hardly possible to move quietly. But that was also the only drawback. Highly recommend overall. Especially great in winter, as it is extremely close to the slice slope. Shopping facilities in less than 5 min walking distance. Great!

Wonderful chalet, was incredibly clean, very luxurious throughout, we had a wonderful 2 nights stay, highly recommend for anyone visiting the Dolomites. Claudine was a great host, we hope to come back sometime.

We thoroughly enjoyed an extended family holiday in the beautiful surroundings of Muhlbach. Iris's chalet was convenient to the town, cable cars and many hiking trails. There was a bakery and Spar within walking distance with everything we needed for our 2 week stay. The chalet was very well appointed with excellent cooking facilities, a very efficient electric BBQ and excellent laundry facilities. The chalet felt spacious and the outdoor terrace was welcome on the warm evenings. Finally, Iris and Snejana were very approachable and responded immediately to any queries we had. They made us feel very welcome in the chalet and ensured we had a wonderful holiday in Austria.

Very high quality chalet, with lots of light, and a chic layout with modern furniture and amenities. Everything spotless and in perfect condition. Surpassed expectations and actually better than it looks on screen! We were 2 families, 9 in total of varying ages and the layout was just right, with enough beds and bathrooms for everyone, all the utensils and kitchen equipment necessary to prepare food, and 10 mins walk to town with lots of dining, bar, etc. options. Ski lifts were also 10 mins walk but with lockers nearby so you don't have to go in boots or carrying skis. The host was near-immeidately responsive to questions. We had a couple of small issues come up that were dealt with on the day while we were out skiing and we were generously gifted the two bottles of wine we drank from the small but very nice selection as a recompense.

Lavender Hill really is a very special chalet. Best described as your own mini 5* hotel. Brilliant communal areas for dining and socialising plus the tranquility of beautiful, highly specified rooms. And a special mention for the sauna area which was the perfect retreat after a hard day on the slopes. Lengau is also a very convenient location to access the ski slopes. The nearest lift to the chalet is at the quieter end of the Saalbach Hinterglemm ski region, no queuing even for New Year so we found ourselves at the top of the mountain in no time at all! A stunning house and great location. The house was even better than the pictures. Beautiful furniture and all the amenities. We felt right at home. We had such a great time we even extended our stay!

The chalet is very nice and great. It is furnished with great love and very good taste. It has everything you need. Christof responded to questions immediately. We hope that this piece of jewelry is appreciated by everyone who vacation here and is treated with great care by the people who live in the chalet. We will be happy to come back.

An amazing chalet to get away in the Engadin valley. The place is fully outfitted and very comfortable. There's underground parking and everything feels brand new and impeccably clean. Everything one could want to have a wonderful stay. The hosts are VERY pro-active and offer extras like daily bread delivery (at cost) and shots of mountain liqueur. They even had two e-bikes and a child cart that we LOVED using around the area. Overall HIGHLY recommend if you want to be in the Bever area.

Perfect stay – highly recommended! Our stay at the chalet was just great! The hosts were incredibly friendly, accommodating and always responded to our requests. From booking to departure, everything worked smoothly. The chalet corresponds exactly to the description and really leaves nothing to be desired – very clean, cozy and well equipped. Overall, we had a very nice time and felt completely comfortable. We definitely plan to come back. Many thanks to Christine for the warm hospitality – highly recommended!

The place is beautiful! Great location and great chalet. Everything was really great. The only thing that irritated us a little was the check in and out times. Check-in is only from 4 pm.. whereby we could only arrive later due to work anyway, but check out 10 o'clock, is quite sporty.. Had this, not really on the screen and slept, then I contacted the host and explained that we slept in and would only check out around 10:30. 10:25 a man knocks on and goes to the chalet to clean the hot tub without further words. No hello or goodbye. Of course, you would have to pay attention to the times yourself when booking, which has gone down with us. Nevertheless, everything else was great and I can definitely recommend the place!

It wasn't a cheap stay for just 2 people, being there for only one night, but the place has a lot to offer. The place was clean and cosy, and surroundings are beautiful. Thanks for having us.

We had a fantastic week in Chalet Jasna. It is decorated to a high standard and feels very cozy and the perfect temperature all week! It felt very private, we weren’t aware of anyone else in the building. It had everything we needed for the week and Erik was very responsive with any questions we had. There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance and a big supermarket was only 10 mins away. An excellent location if skiing in Jasna, the buses are very frequent and the busy stop is right outside the door. There is a lovely ski locker just beside the bus stop which is very convenient with all your ski stuff. We would thoroughly recommend this flat, thank you for having us!

The cabin is very nicely located in the middle of Falkertsee, right next to the lake, where you can ice skate and cross-country skiing. The kitchen equipment has everything you'll need. The view and location are beautiful, there are tobogganing in the shed and the small ski resort is ideal for the children to learn to ski. The adults then also drove to a larger ski resort. Angelika and Jürgen welcomed us very kindly and were always available for questions. We enjoyed it.

Suitable and recommended for all those who are looking for peace, nature and seclusion regarding the accommodation. The house is super clean and decorated with great attention to detail. On the table we found a fresh flower from the garden when we entered the house. You've noticed that you're appreciated as a guest. Our dog was also welcome. As a water rat, he found paradise on site. He was able to move freely on the property and had a lot of fun. It was an idyll for us both outside and inside. For us as Rhine-Main area residents, the stay was very relaxing and exactly what we were looking for.

The getaway with Markus was fantastic. The place looks better than in the photos and is well equipped. Everything is available to feel home straight away. The house is well furnished and well cleaned. The view, the garden, the jacuzzi, the sauna as well as the entire furnishings of the house are top modern; we immediately felt at home. Markus is a great host: friendly, accommodating, proactive but not intrusive. The house is perfect for both a short break but also for a longer stay. It's like a small private spa stay. Parking space with charging station was also available and worked smoothly. We were completely satisfied and happy! I can 100% recommend the place and I'll be back for sure!
