Markus' house is within walking distance to a beautiful public beach. It's incredibly quiet in the area. By car, however, you can reach many beautiful places in a short time. Markus has a lot of good tips on what to do and see in the area. The house is functionally furnished and exudes a traditional charm.

We enjoyed the stay very much and spent a week in the beautiful house, surrounded by nature, water and loving people! We did not have a car for the arrival and departure (which would certainly have made it more practical and easier), but the longer walk from the bus stop/ ferry was definitely worth it! The location was a dream – a quiet place and lots of nature! For shopping and other excursions we had bikes available from the property! Hakan and Natalja were really great hosts! Always kind and helpful – it was a pleasure meeting you! Thank you!

We had a lovely two week stay at Johan’s charming house. We loved waking up to the views of the lake and trees, and starting our days with the most beautiful walks around the lake. It is a wonderful place to retreat, peaceful and surrounded by nature, but only a 25 minute drive to Stockholm. Johan was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Serene place with fantastic views. Very much enjoyed the views from the house as well as the surrounding premises. Very responsive host. Went out of his way to organise us a last minute cot, which was very much appreciated.

We enjoyed a lovely 4 day stay at Mikael's place! The location, the extremely charming stay and Mikael's hospitality made this short stay a great trip. We are going to relax home! The sauna with cooling in the ice lake and the many hiking opportunities remain as well as Mikael's helpfulness when we had driven the car in the mud. We would love to come back here in the summer!
